TTC #1 Thread 7

Urgh. SS. Feel sick, but I did last month. Barely any CM. Lots last month. Boobs feel fine. When I was pg 4 years ago it was my boobs I noticed first but by then I was about 7 weeks along, so like woody they're my pg litmus test. Weird achey like pre-AF cramps for the last few days, but fine today. 7 dpo, AF due the 25th. Make it go quickly. Please.

ahhh I've started SS :( hangs head in shame and I don't even think I've OV'ed yet! (due to friday/saturday!!) but I do feel a bit sick, and a horrid taste in my mouth - but I had all this last month too, and around this time in the cycle ...

but have been copying Nic and DTD when ever possible, so .. maybe I did OV but the sticks missed it?

This says that I'm not due until Monday. When I put in the dates of my two other pregnancies, it fits with those and when I was getting BFNs and BFPs so I might wait until Monday now. Actually can't believe how sick I feel

Block to be honest I try desperately not to SS while secretly doing it all the time anyway!! It is a nightmare. I even took some online quizzes that tell you if you are pg or not depending on symptoms!!

Not long til the weekend then! Sorry to hear about sickness I feel your pain and don't forget our bodies really can be evil things, but hopefully yours is just doing its job...

Going to test on Saturday or Sunday. Think my cycles are about 30 days long. I've never had an early BFP before. Feel really sick this morning Will be so upset if it's just my stupid body playing tricks on me!

Early days yet with the bfn, still got fx for you. When will you test again?

Has anyone gotten through a 2ww without symptom spotting? It's impossible isn't it!? - I've even started ov symptom spotting which I think may be taking it a step too far...

Maybe should have added that the only other time that my boobs have ever done this is when I was pg the 1st time. I've completely got my hopes up....

nicola/MrsBri Massive congratulations on your BFP and your wedding - it just seems like perfect timing. Glad that you had a lovely wedding day and your honeymoon sounds fab - I'd love to see the Northern Lights.

Well, I have tested and only had a BFN so far. However, the nausea has continued and my boobs are now hurting all over - painful all the time and tender to the touch all over. I saw my acupuncturist again today and she thought the signs sounded good. So I'm still hopeful! I'm only on cd26 so it might just be too early to show yet...I really hope so anyway. Going to test with a FRER on Saturday!

You need to perfect the surreptitious boob squeeze using the inside of the top of your arms. Works a treat!

We are only 90 minutes or so from the Lakes, so may end up heading there next time they show!

I'd take weak northern lights any time - I was trying to persuade DH to go to the Lakes last week when they were out.

After promising I wouldn't I'm now in the middle of the 2ww symptom spotting. Need to stop poking my boobs to see if they've magically become tender. I get weird looks...

Ahh Nic I'm so jealous! I would love to see the Northern Lights (even weak ones)!

Aw thanks pear, that is really kind of you. There will be more pregnant ladies than TTC before long. That's how we want it though I am sure!

I'm too scared to do more tests! Ridiculous really. I have none left though, so no temptation anywhere.

We vaguely saw weak Northern Lights earlier. Shame they weren't performing properly though. Still good, however. Bastard freezing outside, mind you.

Hello. I fell asleep at 6 and woke up at 9pm and since now have been unpacking the very last of our boxes from the move. Guess what I found? Yep I found my One step cheap Internet tests!! I still had 9 left in the envelope so I used two and I can confirm that they do work! Nicola and I were never sure if they worked because they were so flimsy and cheap. Unfortunately I can't tell you how early they work but I can say that if you're pregnant you will get the two lines within 2 seconds, it's pretty quick. Dulcet if and when I get to the 12 week mark I will pop them in the post to you, feel it is bad luck to post them before sad I know! So just letting you ladies know that the cheap one step tests from eBay/Amazon do actually work!

It is amazing so far...just seen an awesome sunset over the water. I have absolutely no doubt in saying I wouldn't have wanted anything more from a honeymoon! Jaw droppingly beautiful so far.

Northern Lights trip is on tonight...fingers crossed we see them.

block I'm going stir crazy. I've even booked a trip for New Year's because I'm so desperate for a holiday - didn't think that after Tunisia I won't be quite so desperate!
