Thanks for sympathy ladies, it was not what I wanted especially not on holiday! Hubby says it'll happen one day, I just don't wanna wait too long! It feels like we've been trying for ages but counting it up it's only really been 4 times I've been gutted to see AF which I know isn't long at all but during that 4 months I've had one friend have her second baby, 1 announce she's having her first at Christmas and another tell me she'd having her fourth!!! Grrrr

Caboodles - no I don't tell my other half when POAS as don't want two of us to be gutted!

Good luck all those POAS soon!

Quick question, anybody use any special lube? We need to use something but the one we use says may slow down the wrigglers so I was tempted to buy conceive plus I think it's called?

The line was there for less than a minute. Vanished not long after the control line in the second window appeared.
If AF hasn't turned up by the middle of next week then. I'll test again.

Hello ladies, warning, long post:

I lurk most days but haven't posted here for a while... need a second opinion! This is my first month off the pill and if my cycle has gone straight back to normal, AF should be due today or tomorrow. But last wk, from Weds morning onwards I was getting period cramps and brown spotting, and I've been waiting and waiting for AF to appear in full force... but the cramps eased off yesterday and still nothing. I don't normally (if I cast my mind back to the olden days, pre-pill) have 5 days of PMS, usually only 1 or 2. And usually I get very bad cramps, they used to keep me awake - it's why I went on the pill originally. These were mild. Do you think this is a strange response to coming off the pill or a sign I might be pregnant? And is it the case you have to wait until 3 days after AF is due before POAS? I've never done this before... eek Confused

One more question - do you normally tell your DP before you POAS? Because although this is a baby we both want, I feel a bit funny telling my DP and causing him to poo his pants getting his hopes up unnecessarily. If I do a test, I kind of want to do it on my own, is that wierd?

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 30/09/2012 09:17

Sorry to hear that pipbin. Must have been horrible.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 30/09/2012 09:15

Dreamt AF was in full force. Don't want to POAS again. I know what the answer will be!

HazleNutt · 30/09/2012 09:04

Pipbin, how long was it there? They do vanish after a while.

I have not had the OV symbol on my Persona monitor this month - doesn't mean there has not been one, or isn't one, sometimes it just does not show. Annoying though.

Pipbin · 30/09/2012 08:44

Spotting more heavily now, but it's still not AF proper so I POAS.
As I'm doing the ClearBlue trial I get their Easy test free, so I used one of those. Don't buy them ladies. It came up with a cross, a faint one but it was there, before vanishing. Really got my hopes up.

So bfn for me Ella what about you?

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 30/09/2012 02:38

I wouldn't skip to the toddler stage - I think by then they're past the "bundle up and take anywhere" stage so I would want to enjoy the joys of the first stage a bit :)

Lolcbcblemonlime · 29/09/2012 23:18

I hate this whole thing too. In fact if I could I would pop a toddler! They are so much more fun than babies!
I'm on cd6 and trying to get into the mood for sex. Might have first go tomorrow just to prove to myself that its not all about ttc!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 29/09/2012 23:15

Sorry that was janey.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 29/09/2012 23:15

It's all such a lesson in patience. Life seems a darn lesson in patience lately.
Sorry to hear about the AFs guys. But as hazle says, in a funny way, at least it means OVing is that much closer Smile

Pipbin · 29/09/2012 20:30

I hate post AF pre OV. Time is an illusion, pre ov doubley so.

Rache1S · 29/09/2012 18:56

Hi all, I haven't logged on for a while as I am in that totally shit post-AF pre-O wilderness where time moves in slow motion. Commiserations to those for whom AF has paid an unwelcome visit (especially Bunnygirlie - total bummer on holiday) and good luck to those getting ready to POAS - I have everything crossed for you! Smile
Three of my girlfriends who have just come back from a group holiday have all announced that they are now officially in the TTC club - OMG I have unwittingly found myself in a TTC race with my friends. Pressure on!! Shock

Lolcbcblemonlime · 29/09/2012 16:26

Oh pip I know the pain! DH would never agree to that which makes it more tricky! Faking it is not my thing. He will not have sex for baby making only so I need to convince him I'm extra horny!!!

Pipbin · 29/09/2012 16:21

I was upset today, as you can imagine, and DH and I have come to the agreement that he just has to get the job done as often as possible and not worry about me 'arriving', if you know what I mean.

HazleNutt · 29/09/2012 14:58

Sorry to hear. Nothing to report here either except that DH has managed to catch a cold and complains about being tired. Oh well, he just has to man up, it's the right time.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 29/09/2012 14:24

Sorry af got two of you again!
I've nothing to report and am desperately trying not to obsess. Af just finished so shag week upcoming next.

Pipbin · 29/09/2012 13:43

Proper red spotting now.
Looks like I'm out.

Might test tomorrow just to be sure, I get free tests from Clearblue anyway as I'm doing the CBFM trial.

Pipbin · 29/09/2012 12:56

Could be Hazle. I'm not sure how many DPO I am, either 10, 11 or 12.
Its the thin brown type spotting that I usually get before AF rears her ugly head.
I suspect its AF on her way to be honest.

HazleNutt · 29/09/2012 12:52

what did I just write? Grin Implantation, I mean implantation!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 29/09/2012 12:38

This is like biological roulette Angry

HazleNutt · 29/09/2012 12:26

could be implementation?

Pipbin · 29/09/2012 11:43

Looks like I might be out before I get a chance to POAS.
Spotting has begun.

Pipbin · 28/09/2012 19:01

Sorry to hear that Bunny. That evil bitch knows how to pick her times doesn't she.

HazleNutt · 28/09/2012 16:34

oh, so sorry Bunny - but enjoy the cocktails, hopefully next month you won't be able to any more Wink
