OMG Sparks you dark horse, keeping you BFP to yourself for 3 whole days. So many congratulations to you & MrS. I am so pleased for you. It is obviously the relaxed approach this month that has made all the difference. Well done you.

Will be back later to catch up with everyone else's news

keepitgoing · 14/10/2012 11:50

PS for those not in the know, follies are triggered at 18-20mm for ivf and iui, though apparently naturally can grow up to 30. I can't believe how big that is, actually, considering the size of the egg...

keepitgoing · 14/10/2012 11:49

Omg sparks that'S amazing!! Congratulations. Hmmm, were you Relaxed this month. Dammit!! :) so pleased for you

To update, we have had appointments in two fertility clinics this weekend. To my surprise both suggested we do several months of clomid and iui before thinking of ivf. I was thinking they'd just push whatever's more expensive. So that's good, I guess, but success rates only about 15% a month, and I'm impatient. Still, presumably that's a darned sight higher than our natural chances... one more clinic to see tomorrow, then we'll decide which to go with.

I had an ultrasound yesterday, day 9. I had one dominant follie at 26mm. I never surge before day 13, but the consultant suggested I'D ovulate yesterday or today. Still no surge. Now I'm wondering if my eggs overcook before I release them... mental mental. Have never had a pre-ov scan before.

beedle hold that egg. And tell mrb to get his arose to the doctors!

Woo hoo!!! Sparks is knocked up. Did you sneak it in before the 12 month mark, sparkly?

JenFrankenstein · 14/10/2012 10:20

That's fab news Sparks!

I'm off bag packing today to raise funds for our Guide hut. It's falling apart and we need to knock it down and build a new one which isn't cheap.

BeedleTheBard · 14/10/2012 10:09

OMG sparks that's fabulous news, I'm so pleased for you :o Though I can't believe that you kept if from us for 3 days Shock

little wow 21 weeks

solars hope you're having restful weekend, I'm sending sticky embryo thoughts your way

As for the Beedle house things aren't quite so good, MrB appears to have some kind of UTI or something, so we can't SWI and I'm just about to ovulate into my freshly spring cleaned tubes. And to make things worse he doesn't want to go to the drs tomorrow in case it clears up on its own HmmHmm
And I won't even get to avoid thinking that I could, maybe, possibly be pregnant this month as we did manage some SFF after my HSG and we all know that sperm can allegedly live for 5 days aaaarrrggghhh Swi

TheLittleFriend · 14/10/2012 09:39

sparks that is amazing news, well done! I'm so pleased I popped by at just the right time Grin xx

OMG sparks that is the best news I could have heard this weekend!!! I am so so pleased and thrilled and excited for you Grin Grin Grin have a bunch of Thanks Grin

Don't hold your breath for my confirmation, I had some brown spotting last night, which I normally get the day before AF is due, and woke up to lots of cramping this morning. Temp has taken two consecutive nosedives so I'm pretty sure the witch is circling.

ReturnOfTheMunx · 14/10/2012 09:04

PrincessPumpkinshoutsBOO · 14/10/2012 08:23

Sparks that is amazing news Grin Thanks when I got my bfp I think it was about a week before my test line was the same colour as my control line (on ic and boots and tesco own [obsessive tester emotion]) but as we like to say, a line is a line and you are diffed my dear!

So happy for you :):)

Biscuitsandtea · 14/10/2012 08:21

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 08:12

Yup 'twas me biscuits the pack still has your post it note on it!! I'm going to wait a couple more days I think but I keep saying to hubby "I'm more pregnant than I've ever been" Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 14/10/2012 08:09

Wowee Sparks that's awesome news Grin Thanks

Was it you I sent a CBD to? I'll be so excited if it's time to break that out Grin

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 07:47

DIFFED!!!

Well ok I couldn't hold out to Monday and if I'm honest with you I've been getting TFP (tiny faint positives) for 3 days, the last two were ASDA own, so a step but from ICs gave clear but not dark second lines within 3 minutes!! I had some spotting and general AF crampyness last night and this morning with AF not due properly tomorrow so I have no idea if that's normal? Mine and mrsparks official stance on it at the moment is cautiously optimistic Smile

TheLittleFriend · 13/10/2012 21:28
