Ladies this thread is the one, I can feel it in my water [although maybe that's the drugs Hmm ], here you go Grin

Also, you weren't that relaxed were you, sparks as you were stressed about the job thing. So unless your body can think 'stressed about babies, won't get pregnant. stressed about job, will get pregnant' it just doesn't make any sense. More likely this was just your month, and you timed it right and smacked that rat well! DH says he's not down, more excited to start moving faster towards getting our baby. He is so sensible.

Biscuitsandtea · 15/10/2012 07:52

YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY Sparks!!!!

I'm so glad to see my OTT HPT purchasing being put to SUCH good use! Well done girl!

What is the US for on Wed? I'd be tempted to ring them and ask what they think? Is it something that might be relevant to being diffed? I mean USs are safe in pg obviously aren't they but if it was to check tubage or whatever then I guess there's no point?

Sorry I've not read everything else so sorry if I've missed anything important

SecretSparkle · 15/10/2012 07:36

keep it must be so hard at the moment, so allow yourself to be down!! Remember I may be another relax success story but it took the threat of loosing my job to completely shift focus!! Otherwise I would be mega stress head!!! Your probably right about the scan and I don't really want them poking around in there!!

keepitgoing · 15/10/2012 07:16

I'm only cd11, so would normally be quite chirpy around now. i think it's all the clinic appointments, and realisation we won't most likely have a naturally conceived baby.

I think wednesday would be too early to see anything pregnancy-related, and there's no point in them looking at your cysts, so i would prob cancel it sparks, but maybe some of the preggos know more than me...

So pleased for you. But not pleased as it's another tick in the box for the 'relax' camp. ;)

geek poor you. Def get back to bed. What a welcome party for AF you threw!!

SecretSparkle · 15/10/2012 07:01

geek sorry cross post! Poor cat toy!! Sorry AF has landed, how dare she when you showed her what would happen to her, using the cat toy as a prop!!!

I'm still shell shocked, I'd psyched myself up for clinic apts and everything

Oh general question? I have a pelvic ultrasound booked on Wednesday, should I cancel it?

SecretSparkle · 15/10/2012 06:56

The results are in ladies!! 100% PSEPP 2-3 weeks by all accounts, according to biscuits CBD! so think my dates are about right and I'm due late June! Me and mrsparks are ready to accept that im actually diffed!

keep rash is horrendous this morning!!! My skin is burning, I'm glad I'm not able to take antihistamines but it's forcing me to the docs early because I need to get it sorted. Don't worry about not being a good Brooker at the moment, it'll come in the end, where are you at?

whim I think it may have been the threat of drugs!! I haven't been to my fertility clinic appt yet!!!

Shrieklette · 15/10/2012 06:52

Oh good grief, I woke up this morning to a massive migraine, three empty wine bottles and a cat toy with the stuffing knocked out of it (quite literally). I'm hoping I wasn't responsible for the toy, but I think I was responsible for everything else! As expected, AF has landed here. Whilst I can't trust my pee sticks, I can always rely on my temps to tell the truth. Think I'll go back to bed once I've seen MrGeek safely off to work.

sparks how are you feeling this morning? Is it sinking in yet?

keepitgoing · 15/10/2012 05:24

Sparks bet you have never been so happy to be average! Well done you. I would try not to worry too much about the spotting ? I hear it's so so common in early pregnancy. Can't wait to hear the confirmation from biscuit's cbd. Has your rash gone down now?

Geek ? sorry to hear that AF is imminent, but you are doing a brooking service, keeping her away from sparks. It will be your turn soon

sweetie have you not had af since the IVF cycle then? How strange. Or have you just had a short cycle. I guess natural hormones might be a bit messed up for a while.

Scarlett am here awaiting your news this morning. Good luck, I hope AF has stayed away, and proved IVF unnecessary for you and your perfect egg.

Solars, hope you are ok and not mentalling too much. STICK EMBY STICK

Big waves to imps and cupcakes ? bit of time out seemed to do the trick for sparks!

Feeling down today, like it'll never happen for me. I am not a good brooker at the moment.

Ooh bartlett massive good luck for all the appointments, and I really hope you can then be discharged.

whimsicalname · 15/10/2012 00:44

Rushing in: heard there was good news over here.

Massive congrats sparks. It really was the drugs what won it!

Waves to everyone else. I hope this is the first of another triple whammy!

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 22:25

jen that's actually amazing!!

sweetie yes us Brookers do love a good ironic BFP don't we?! Think I may crack open biscuits CBD tomorrow morning, AF will officially be late then!! I've got it out ready, with the postit still on it that says good luck!!

Lying in bed listening to my neighbours argue!!!

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 22:22

bartlet hahaha I totes forgot about that dream, I'm now wracking my brains trying to think of anything I've done that's arrestable, obvs I'm not coming up with anything at the moment!!!

shriek it's not over till the evil witch arrives, but feel to drink on my behalf, and I drink like I'm still a student!!!

JenFrankenstein · 14/10/2012 21:08

We raised £700.21 which is amazing!

GenericDietCola · 14/10/2012 21:00

Sparks that is fab news - well done!

Also brooking for Solars' emby, Scarlett's imminent BFP and still got fingers firmly crossed and brooking force maximum for Shriek (remember Musical and Smegs who both had AF before their BFPs? There's always hope when you're a brooker!)

Shrieklette · 14/10/2012 20:40

beedle what are these men like eh? The only way you can get MrGeek to a dr involves wild horses and cattle prods. I believe the HSG has a lasting effect for around six months though, so please don't worry too much. Having said that, MrB's swimmers are surely still hanging around as 5 days isn't too much to ask.

jen how's the fundraising going?

keep wow, so many options!! I think you are wise to cover all the basis before going down the IVF route. It's great that they aren't just pushing you towards the most expensive treatment, too.

sweetie thank you for the positivity :)

boo no, no news on my appointment yet. It's only been just over a week since the consultant remembered to write to my GP though, so allowing time for my GP to write back, and then some secretary to squeeze me into a diary somewhere I am not expecting to hear anything for at least another week or two.

Right, since my pee sticks do not tell me otherwise, I am not pregnant so am enjoying drinking for two tonight (since sparks will be unable to consume any alcohol for the next nine month Grin).

BartletForTeamGB · 14/10/2012 20:37

Just popping in and then I see amazing news! Sparks, this is wonderful! Grin

I am just a bit worried about you now. Last month, you said, "I was dreaming that I was being arrested but I'd just found out I was pregnant and they were being so rough with me! I had to tell hubby while I was in handcuffs!! Weird!!" so I am just waiting to hear that you have been arrested now! Wink

Shriek, hope AF stays away. I'm still brooking for everyone, particularly those going through and beginning to think about IVF etc.

Yes, the Triple Whammy Brookers have now reached 21 weeks. I've got three appointments with different people in the next 8 days, but if we get through all of those unscathed, I will hopefully be discharged from consultant care!

PrincessPumpkinshoutsBOO · 14/10/2012 19:56

Oh Shriek that is rotten :( has there been any news on your appointment? I still have that staple gun if you want Grin I suppose you can at least enjoy a few birthday drinks.

TrickorTreatSweetie · 14/10/2012 19:53

shriek as we all know it isn't over til the AF sings, fx it doesn't come to full flow

TheLittleFriend · 14/10/2012 19:17

shriek, smegs is still around, little one due in nov, along with far's Smile

Shrieklette · 14/10/2012 19:06

Sorry to disappoint ladies, but after a frantic day of knicker checking (and yes, more than one IC, where I could have sworn I saw a faint pink line after an hour or so) I have started with bright red spotting so expect to wake up to full flow tomorrow. The cramps are just beginning and I can feel myself slipping into that nasty 24 hour period of sulking and feeling sorry for myself, so am very glad that I took tomorrow off work!

Any news from scarlett?

And thinking about it, haven't heard anything from smegs for ages and ages, does anybody know when she is due, or if she has already had her smeglet?

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 18:59

Yes shriek surely is due to simply confirm?!

Biscuitsandtea · 14/10/2012 18:45
JenFrankenstein · 14/10/2012 18:12

Brooking baby born, rat smacker gets BFP. Coincidence? If that is the case then there is another BFP due...

SecretSparkle · 14/10/2012 18:09

Thanks brookers, soppy message coming up!! I don't think I could have got this far without being a rat smacked, brooking really is the way to go!!!

keep according to my fertility friend app, my first official cycle started on 15th October 2011, so my BFP (how weird to type it) marks the end of cycle 12, almost 12 months to the day!!! I'd done a couple of pissing about cycles before then, having come off the pill in August 2011 but yes I think I'm slipping in just under the year mark!!

This month I 100% didn't try, after having the news about my job I decided to take a bit of a break, so there was no temping, OPKs, cbfm etc etc, I noticed patches of EWCM for about a period of a week so er 'encouraged' mrsparks but we didn't really put much effort in, concentrating more on the act rather the purpose!! I tested several days ago because I wanted to take some antihistames and got a BFN then on Friday morning I did another test cus I wasn't sure when AF was due, and I was convinced I saw a line but thought maybe it was an evap as I'd left it a while, shows mrsparks and he thought I was imagining it, tested sat using an IC and there was a line but super faint, then yesterday evening I tested with an asda cheapie and there the line was, still not as dark as I'd like nit definately a line!! This mornings result just confirmed it!

Oh and this month I've broken every TTC rule in the book, didn't someone say I was destined for an ironic BFP?!

CupcakesAndCocktails · 14/10/2012 14:41
