Hop on board the October 2012 BFP bus

Hello, going to mark my place as thinking AF is on it's way (day late but tested BFN y/day - boo!)

It's my third month of ttc dc3 (dc1 and 2 just happened quite quickly and w/out much thought/stress)

My Oct BFP would be due around the middle of the month (my cycle anywhere between 28 and 31 days).

taking I got my smiley on day 16 last month of a 29 day cycle, so thinking it may be the same this month.

cd13 today so going all out this week and dtd every day. DH has a bit of a sniffle but hopefully he'll man up and do what needs to be done!

Unless you ovulate by CD9, probably not :-)

Any point dtd today? Cd6. Cant be bothered.

BFP due 15th October, but as I'm off on honeymoon that day I won't be testing unless AF hasn't appeared by the time I get back :-)

I was on the Feb thread as I got our BFP after 6 months of half-assed trying! Was also in the JS thread :D Unfortunately, I was one of the '1 in 3' and had a missed mc shown at the 12 week scan :'( Had an ERPC at beginning of August then my MIL died suddenly. Fair to say August was NOT our month :/ l had AF for a day (!) 4 weeks to the day later, then nowt. SOOOOOOOO, I'm on th WTF cycle and I'll put my date as testing on 13th October :) Nice to 'meet' you all, and here's to October!

Can I join too, being off the pill for 4 months now and thought I had being lucky this month but oh no AF arrived today .

I have no idea about my periods etc anymore since I stopped breastfeeding so all a bit clueless really

Yes me Pink I have ordered them but I am still undecided on whether or not to use them, as like you say I know I will become obsessed and will only make ttc more difficult...and as I don't have a regular cycle I don't really know when to test anyway would just be a case of everyday I think! I really really want a bfp soon but I am still hopeful of just being able to take things as they come.. although saying that if in a few months nothing is happening I will be taking matter into my own hands!

Will promise not to worry, stress, symptom spot or get anxious if we don't Dtd around ov time......

Glad I'm not a betting person...but have not succumbed yet to opk, mainly due to price but also think I would just become obsessed with the whole thing which would just make my chances of ttc zero.

Anyone else feel like this?

marking my place if i may? Come from the September thread, CD1 cycle #7 today, not worked my dates out for october yet but I will do at some point.

apart from Af arriving today I had blood tests back including day 21 and they were all normal, which is good.

I used to live in Scotland so obviously a big fan of tablet! yum

Busied myself this lunchtime by buying a refill of folic acid, just a reminder to anyone who has forgotten.

Taking no it's not toffee :) it's Scottish and I just assumed you could get it all over the uk oops. It's basically sugar, butter and condensed milk. Boiled and stirred for aaaaagggges it hardens and is so delicious. Bit like harder fudge. It's really really sweet so a little goes a long way :)

Me and DH are still in the "we've only been married 3 months" romantic (shagfest) phase, and have DTDd every day since (apart from when he had a business trip)......Stupid question, possibly, but does it "dilute" DHs swimmers if we DTD too often? He said I was daft to think that, but I am sure I read somewhere that it is better to not be at it everyday If so, I'll definitely get some OPKs so we know which are the best days, but otherwise, I guess we'll just carry on. Never knew TTC could involve so many questions!

Glad the cupcakes are going down well - there are plenty more! The rock cakes are super yummy so I may leave my cupcakes and tuck into another of those - thanks rocks

I don't like cakes, but i do make a mean tray of tablet! Anyone care for some?

Cd9 today and looking forward to getting that smiley face next week! I confess I'm a poas addict so I do them first thing in the morning, then from day 12 round about 2pm too. Dont tell dh though :)

May I climb aboard? DP and I now ttc! Am 39 with 1dd (9). Forgive me if I'm not up to speed with the terminology, but hoping for BFP on 7 October (ish)

All this cake talk is making me hungry! I am still trying to shift a few post pg pounds . Seems to be happening very slowly but I am not trying that hard either...pass a cupcake!

Saturday will be CD6 so arming myself with OPK's! Have warned DH of the impending shagfest coming. He sounds quite keen luckily and suggested we do it every day ! I dont think I have the stamina for that....! We will see...!

Just changing my date.if I never see that bloody(pardon the pun) Aunt Flo again,it would be too soon....

Taking the stairs FMU is recommended for pregnancy tests, but not OPKs. I've read in quite a few places that 2pm is the ideal time for OPKs.
