Ahh hope the birthday celebrations went well Waves Yes me and hubby were saying that we have our DD in June and my DSD in July so if I am lucky enough to fall soon we will have another birthday in between those two.. expensive but if I get to have another bubba I really dont care! Grin fx we all get our bfp soon!

I would LOVE a cup of coffee - many thanks :-) I decided not to try the OPKs this month, so trying not to stress either. DD and DSS both had birthdays at the weekend, so I am avoiding cakes too. DH and I are really hoping we get a BFP within 3 months, as otherwise we could end up with a very expensive September each year....

Morning ladies

Think I have been having some ovulation pains but not entirely sure( I am trying really hard not to start poas as I know it will make me more stressed and probably hinder my chances!) so to take my mind off of it and try to relax I have made some bread! (tyring to move away from the cakes! my waistline is feeling it!) am putting on a pot of coffee... anyone like a cup?!

I've just had my first :) on CD14. I was worried I wasn't going to get one (first month using OPKs), so I feel more relaxed now.

can I pop a foot on? first cycle after a miscarriage at 8 weeks, OPK gave me a smiley yesterday so guess I'm back on the buses, AF due on October 2nd. Kinda want but don't want a BFP cos I'd just be worrying again, do you think I can go to sleep and nap through to 12 weeks?

hi!!

As far as I know, different tests require different circumstances.

With the Clear Blue digital you are told to pee directly on the stick or into a cup and dip the stick in. No where does it say to let the pee be tepid. It does say to test at the same time every day.

I have read that other tests suggest testing in the afternoon but I think that is more for the non-digital tests.

I think the best thing to do it to follow the instructions that come with the sticks that you have.
The manufacturers of the sticks want you to have the most accurate readings that you could possibly have and therefore their instructions will be tailored to those particular tests.

As for waiting for the pee to be tepid.. to me, that sounds like rubbish. The hormones will be in your pee whether it's hot, warm or chilled!!

I've got some of those Internet cheapy OPK's from friend . The packet says pee in a pot, put stick in for 5 seconds then lay it flat and check but my friend said she did that until another friend told her the wee should be room temp and not first morning wee...? She got BFP first go after checking with tepid afternoon pee! I'm on CD7 so reckon I should start using? Rather not become obsessed and just shag way to BFP but as I'm only on cycle 2 I want to know if and when I pop an egg. Advise please about wee time, day and temp!!!
