Can I just say that I'm so thankful for all of you. Its funny that a group of ladies that I've never met have made such an impact in my life with the support I've received in my ttc journey. I get so depressed sometimes.... there's a coworker who's 19 weeks today- just so happens to be the same number of weeks I would've been. I go to work and see her growing bump and hear the stories of scans and first kicks, so hurtful sometimes. Weeell, thank you all for listening. Thanks

chookford · 26/09/2012 19:36

Littlepink fingers crossed that it isn't too late for you, it's not over until the witch shows up!

Hi Super welcome to the bus! Hopefully we wil all be getting our bfp very soon!

Woody that tart sounds amazing!!!

woody17 · 26/09/2012 19:17

Hi everyone - the nutella cheesecake recipe looked amazing! I am definitely going to try it. Looked fairly easy as well. I like Nigella but I don't think her recipes are particularly healthy!

I made a chocolate and salted caramel tart today - it was lush.

stickybeans I hope that you are ok.

CD5 for me today. Still spotting a bit so haven't dtd yet this cycle. Hopefully it'll stop soon and we'll be able to get on ttc.

SuperSlattern · 26/09/2012 18:16

Hello, can I join from the September bus? It's CD1 for me Sad.

Would somebody mind copying me in, I'm on my phone:

SuperSlattern - cycle 4 - BFP due 25th October

littlepinkfizz · 26/09/2012 16:13

Here's hoping as I seem to have Ewcm but no dark line. Just bought more < now broke> digital opk's as at least I'll know when I am ovulating. May as well jump on the November bus though if your right

TakingTheStairs · 26/09/2012 14:11

Ah littlepinkfizz that's very annoying. fingers crossed I'm wrong.
I got a smiley on my OPK & EWCM on Saturday and had the cramping on Sunday and Monday. But maybe the cramping is the actual ovulation as the opk tells you just before you're about to ovulate.

littlepinkfizz · 26/09/2012 12:20

Ah feck taking I've been using opk since Sunday- still no dark line but now having few cramps. I thought that might be me getting ready to ovulate but no, as usual I have missed the bloody boat

wavesandsmiles · 26/09/2012 12:19

I am also going to have to check out the nutella cheesecake recipe...although no chance for me to bake now til post-move. So for now, I shall enjoy the treats that you are all kindly sharing! New house will be fab - at the moment there are 6 of us, most of the time, in my 2 bed terrace - Dh, and DSSs (who stay 3 or 4 nights a week) moved in after we got married so it is a bit of a squish. We will even have a parking space at our new house!

chookford · 26/09/2012 11:52

Violet I am the same.... dont use opk's so have no idea just sort of went with dtd when I had ewcm but had some cramps last few days, and boobs have been slightly tender so I am hoping they come after as dh is away for work until friday now... am not very hopeful for that bfp on the 8th...Sad

VioletCherry · 26/09/2012 11:47

thanks, needed a little reassurance that oct bfp wasn't a right off already

PurpleGeekyGirl · 26/09/2012 11:44

taking thanks and will keep shhh!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 26/09/2012 11:43

violet I am new to all this as with DS1 I had NO clue at all!! but I had ewcm a few days before I had an actual pop which I think was my egg being released. Last cycle was my first off the pill so I am going to be paying close attention to my body in terms of more pops/cramps mid cycle and EWCM. I have no idea which is better for timing tho... and with a BF who lives 50 miles away dtd at the right time is not easy..! I think I ov on cd11-13 rather than cd14 so am timing my shags to then rather than just physical symptoms like ov pains or ewcm. If we don't get lucky in 6 months then I'll OPK it and hopefully he'll be living with me after xmas which will help too Good luck Smile

TakingTheStairs · 26/09/2012 11:43

violetcherry As far as I know, they occur afterwards.

chookford · 26/09/2012 11:40

Yes we have the same Taking a very large 2 bedroom flat, but with kids I really need a garden and a drive and more bedrooms!! fx we get the babies and the house next year!

VioletCherry · 26/09/2012 11:40

thanks woody we DTD around the time when I thought I had ovulated, mainly due to EWCM. But unfortunately didn't have a chance over the following weekend when I experienced ovulation cramps. Was looking for some opinions whether cramps occurred before during or after ovulation. As I don't use OPK was hoping for others experiences.

chookford · 26/09/2012 11:38

chookford we have a really lovely flat at the moment, but I want my own driveway and garden..I'm crossing my fingers for a substantial bonus after Christmas towards the deposit. And Fx for the redundancy pay out for you and your DH.

Nutella cheesecake! Holy smokes Batman PurpleGeekyGirl Can you post a link to the recipe please?

PurpleGeekyGirl · 26/09/2012 11:22

Morning all Grin

I like the link to that OV chart, especially as it shows that my child free weekend is exactly when we want to be dtd this cycle, yay.

I've got a huge portion of Nigella's delicious nutella cheesecake to share. It's obscenely good and not at all fattening in the slightest, I mean LOOK at NIgella!!

chookford · 26/09/2012 10:48

haha here you go Taking

I am the same, I spend most of my working day on rightmove, we are hoping to move next year too as dh is hopefully going to be made redundant we will have enough for a deposit and also we need more bedrooms if we do have another little one next year! I am desperate to move really need more space!

TakingTheStairs · 26/09/2012 10:44

Ooooh chookford lemon drizzle cake. yes please! Though it won't really help with the Weight Watchers plan. Sod it, I got a silver seven on Monday, pass that cake!

wavesandsmiles Packing is a PITA but at least it will distract you a bit.. and new house; super exciting. I'm currently stalking rightmove for houses, though we won't be in a position to move for at least a year Sad

OP posts:
chookford · 26/09/2012 10:37

Waves yes that would be great wouldnt it! also be able to fast forward the first 12 weeks after a bfp would be fantastic to just be able to relax and enjoy the pg..... I know you shouldnt wish your life away but this is bloody stressful! Hope the move goes well... and in two weeks you get a BFP! We are testing around the same time so if we are lucky we will be 12 weeks around Christmas/New Year.. that would be lovely, wouldnt it! FX!

wavesandsmiles · 26/09/2012 10:26

Good morning all. chookford lemon drizzle cake sounds YUM, and the perfect accompaniment to my coffee (still heaving at the thought of a cup of tea).

Meant to be doing serious house packing this evening - I wish I could wake up in 2 weeks and it be the 9 October so I can POAS and also be in the position that my house has packed itself up and the contents moved to new house. Would avoid the lengthy 2ww and the horror of packing/sorting!
