I always get tests from the pound shop or Poundland - either two or three tests for £1, and they do the job. Apparently you can also get them on eBay for 10 for a pound.

PS) Clearblue 2 pack are down to £8 (from £11) in tesco

Jelly - supposedly tests with pink dye are more accurate, so that would but first response ahead of clear blue. Saying that I've had a false bfp with first response before so it's kind of put me off them and i also like the fact that clear blue shows a plus sign rather than two separate lines, it's a bit clearer...

Lots of news on the October express anyway!

Im.on cd20, i usually ov around cd19 but all tell tale signs hav made themselves scarce this month & because of flippin.pcos i cant just use opks to see whats going on. Shagfest continues tho and tiny bit of blood in.cm today which maybe counts as spotting so could be sign of ov maybe or maybe i.ov early and its implantation.bleeding --or maybe its none of the above. These post-mc wft cycles are so confusing!!!

littlepink i have been POAS (ic) since Friday, but today foolishly spent £10 on FRER this afternoon, 3 hours later her she was waving her red shunky shite about the place!!!

I haven't had any major symptoms yet, although I keep getting heartburn on and off throughout the day which isn't something I ever really get. Also sorry TMI I feel constantly moist down there and seem to have quite a bit CM everyday, again not something I usually get unless I just don't notice it as much when not TTC. Has anyone else experienced this?

Bloody bitchbag AF appeared this afternoon, see it will teach me for spending £10 on bloody tests!!!!

Thought i felt strange when driving home, and low and behold her she is - 2 flipping days early to boot!! Thought it was just brown gunk (hopeful implantation bleed!) but no, big red AF after i wiped (sorry TMI)

Am staying on the bus tho, 31 days in October so headed for the back and briging up the rear!!

Having large G&T and brie with crackers to make me feel better!

I think the pack says to dtd anytime in the next couple of days after the smiley, as though once is enough. However, I'd read on the net somewhere that the day of the smiley and the day after were recommended so did both (and the day before smiley didn't hurt either).

Thanks for telling us all your symptoms ella. I'll be mad checking them next week! We Dtd the day we got smiley.. Do you think this is enough. I'm on cycle 3 too and would really love that BFP x
