blargl I must admit I did go and buy some more as was a bit peeved at the CB, brought the FR one step instead of the FRER, but now that I've found out the difference in the sensitivity I do kind of wish I'd kept looking for the early result one as a positive result probably won't show up for a few more days on the less sensitive tests. Now spent £26 this month on tests.

I used the CB OPK to and we dtd that evening and the next day, as long as you have sperm waiting for the egg I wouldn't imagine it matters to much but I'm only on cycle 2 so not hugely knowledgeable on these things.

lexi I know what you mean about wasting money, I spent so much last month on tests I am determined to ration myself this month!

I have been doing the CB digi OPKS and got a smiley this morning which I am v happy about (I guess I had a niggling worry I didn't o last cycle). Now for the question: when's best to dtd? Tonight or tomorrow? Or does it matter??!

Ah, well fx for the next test, Lexi. The CB Plus didn't impress me at all. Now I know why!

I've phoned the FR helpline to check the sensitivity of there tests and she said that the FRER is 12.5mlU/ml and the FR one step is 25mlU/ml which is the same as my CB+

Which would explain why yesterdays looked more positive than todays.

I've got a FR but it's a standard one not a FRER one, the test I got a faint line on was a FRER and from what I understand they're more sensitive so might wait a couple of days before I test again.

It's frustrating because yesterday evening I started to feel like it might be true and found myself believing we were going to have a baby and then this morning being inconclusive I'm back to not wanting to get my hopes up, trying to be positive after all AF hasn't arrived which has to be a good sign.

Someone said Superdrug has an offer on tests at the moment, Lexi, can you get to one?

Hi all, just updating as at work and no time to read everything, and no internet yet in our new house - but I noticed some more BFPs! Very exciting. Still no AF for me, and was kind of expecting it on 9 October. I have some cheap internet tests, but they have come up negative. If nothing happens over the weekend, I might well invest in one of the more expensive tests and see what happens......

knickerbocker I was going to but they didn't have any FRER yesterday, not sure my DH would be best pleased if I go and buy more, spent £20 this month on tests and still have CB left. Will probably have to just for my own sanity.

Can you get a pink dye test, Lexi? I don't rate the blue ones at all. And the Clear Blue ones aren't very good, I don't think!

nannyl thats kind of how I am, in my previous pregnancy I tested the dat my period was due and got an instant positive I'm also never late, currently 3 days late which I know isn't much but when you are very regular it feels like a long time.

no sign of AF but 3 negative pg tests so far (got a postive 5 days early last time) so no idea whats happening to me

Tested again this morning with a cb plus which give a - or + symbol in blue dye, there is something in the vertical line but it's much much fainter in todays test, feeling a bit down about it and wondering if it might be a chemical pregnanacy.

little no idea with ds as just assumed I ovd on cd14 I was proper clueless! I think we dtd on cd6 or 7/8 which would tie in with when I normally get ew and I now know I ov cd13. Good luck, I am planning two more dc in quick succession but we will see what happens...

Sounds good purple will definitely be trying that. So how long before you ov did you Dtd? It's strange how our bodies work isn't it? I'm 42 so way worse than you and really think I am past it but want a sibling for ds (20 mths) x

little it's supposed to help you produce more EWCM. I'm 38 and barely get 1 day of EWCM, using juice extended it to two. You drink 200ml from 5 days before ov to ov. I'm planning on dtd from cd7 when I usually get one day of EWCM next cycle as we haven't been able to dtd earlier than cd11 yet and I read more chance of pg if u dtd on EWCM days rather than ov days. That pans out for when I conceived ds as we only dtd twice that cycle as had given up trying after a huge row and dtd well before ov.

Yes sticky it's baffling isn't it and more than a little off putting. We're planning to Dtd the day before, and every other day after the smiley for 4 days. If that don't get us, I give up! Seriously. Back to shagging for lure fun. Oh the joy of those care free days!

nic I'm only cd 10 and not due to ov til tuesday so maybe a smallshot left if we dtd as soon as he gets home on friday evening cd18 :) We did manage a quickie in the downstairs loo before he left, just in case. Classy we are :)

Am currently 4dpo and trying hard not to ss. Surviving so far but my boobs do feel weirder than normal...! Have just ordered a load of grapefruit juice for next cycle as it seemed to help with EWCM production. Nothing like tempting fate is there

Littlepink I know exactly how you feel. I am currently on my 3rd cycle post mc. Last month I used OPK. We dtd like three days before the smiley, the day of, and two days after! Af still got me! It's so frustrating. This month I've decided not to put in that much effort. I'm still using opk but DH and I are not going to dtd until maybe CD 15. I'm on day 14 now. I think what has been happening is that we would be worn out and stressed by the end of the month. So, guess I'll see how this method works.

Think im ovluating this week, so trying to dtd every day or every 36hrs or so, but its hard work, hubby just groaned when i pounced on him this morning, but we managed it!! Seems weird sharing our bedroom habits with strangers!!

Had a 26 day cycle last month but have been having regular 28days for the last few months, have decided im not testing until the 25th, got 3 FRER's to use so will be using them as well as IC's!!

When are you due to OV? Have sex now before he goes. It's better to DTD 1-4 days pre-OV anyway. Fx.

Hey girls sorry to everyone getting bfn's. Unless I ov in the next 10 mins I'll be getting bfn this month too! Dh is away soon and he'll miss ov by 3 days.

I've hopped on the November bus but don't want to pop myself on the list yet til I at least get this month af over and done with :)
