I'm possibly cd20 today but as I didn't stop bleeding til 5 days ago that could be wrong lol

kittykatskumkwat · 02/09/2012 09:50

I'm usually a control freak myself but I'm also thrifty and knew my ov would ve messed up so thought what's the point, I'll end up wasting money, plus last month I got a smiley at cd15 then a week later EWCM, I know that the opk was wrong now as I didn't get the faint + til cd38 so if I had gone by the opk I'd definatly have missed it, I think til my cycle is back to normal my body doesn't know what it's doing, before dd I always used to get a + cd17/19 and got pg that way but since I've started trying I've so far had one cd23 ( wtf cycle) then cd15 - NEVER had one that early and was wrong!! So this month after last
I this nightmare letting my body have a rest

NickiNockiNoodle · 02/09/2012 09:12

Kitty, I didn't use OPKs last month and ended up with that weird cycle, wishing I'd POAS. But...using OPKs this month and no surge yet, but OV pain. So I'm beginning go wonder if I missed the surge.

It appears to be swings and roundabouts.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 02/09/2012 08:11

Thanks kitty still no ov here. I will just have to try and relax and not think about it. Very impressed with you not using opks, too much of a control freak myself to try that.

kittykatskumkwat · 02/09/2012 07:29

Resipsa- check you out, dtd wed and thur and fri!!!! How old do you think you are you crazy teenagers! Very well timed
Winkle- glad the monitor hasn't peaked yet Sure it will today for hubbies home arrival, I do like the sound of that monitor
Wishful - so glad it's going well for you, how did you enjoy Thailand???
When, a cold could easily delay ov I reacon particulaly as it's only a day or so, in some ways it's good if you really don't feel like it and I know I dont when I'm ill!
Not sure when / if I'll ov as not doing sticks this month, it's a weird feeling to have no idea at all but kind of nice for a change as I've definatly thought about it less.

peardrop2 · 02/09/2012 06:22

I am failing miserably at getting DH to DtD this month because he's always tired :( I think this month is just going to have to be a write off, with the move and everything I think it has proven to be too much. I'm sure it doesn't help that I feel And probably DH if he was honest it's a tiny bit pointless trying until my AF decides to make an appearance!

DulcetMoans · 01/09/2012 23:12

Yeah, we are much better at doing it when we don't have to! Every other day wouldn't have been as much of a problem if we didn't feel we had to do it that often! Haha.

NickiNockiNoodle · 01/09/2012 20:58

That's true...it's all rather hit and miss, TTC, isn't it? :-/

We'll be DTD tomorrow morning, I'd imagine. Wondering if it's best to jump him tonight, though, as it's been 72 hours now! Romance is NOT dead.

DulcetMoans · 01/09/2012 20:51

Sorry nic, if I get one in the morning I will try sending it your way! You can easily miss it I think, if you get it like an hour after you do the stick it could be gone by the time you do the next one. That can happen whatever time you do the stick, FMU or not. Just keep DTD anyway, always trust your body over the sticks for sure.

NickiNockiNoodle · 01/09/2012 20:47

I don't know, When...my pain is at its worse today after coming on since yesterday, so I suppose it may appear soon. My CM hasn't been playing the game this cycle either.

I imagine it could be possible to miss the surge though. Difficult to know, I think.

I'm jealous of your smiley, Dulcet!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 20:40

Oops tmi alert should have been on that post.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 20:40

Is it possible we missed the surge nic? A few days ago I had increased sex drive and cm went clear (but not ew). Sex drive is lower now and cm is cloudy so maybe I missed it.

DulcetMoans · 01/09/2012 20:37

I meant to join back onto this thread when the 3rd one started but you're already 3 pages in before I got here! Missed out on the majority of thread 2 but was here for the first one!

Hope you get a smiley tomorrow nic, like I mentioned before, mine was today on CD17! Tested again this afternoon too as I got loads of sticks and still smiling at me. Yay! FX for you tomorrow!

NickiNockiNoodle · 01/09/2012 20:06

Nicely timed DTD, resipsa :-) Fx you get the birthday present you deserve.

And my smiley is AWOL too, When...CD16 here. But I'm in so much pain, I can't see how ovulation isn't happening / about to happen soon. Either my sticks have missed my surge, or I'll get it tomorrow, I hope.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 15:42

Ooo you lucky girl resipsa perfect dtd timing.

I think the chem pregs upset the timing for ov. After the first one I oved sooner than I expected, ten later with the second. The egg will come when it feels like it (unless the opks missed it somehow).

resipsa · 01/09/2012 15:27

But sorry you're poorly. Maybe that's why ov delayed?

resipsa · 01/09/2012 15:25

Hi when. Got smiley yesterday and had DTD on Weds + Thurs (& Fri!) so thanks for sharing as now feel very positive + DD v cute today + it's not raining. Doesn't take much to make me Smile!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 01/09/2012 15:15

Hi wishful glad everything is going well with your pregnancy.

winkle good work with dtd.

resipsa ooh countdown to the big day.

I am on cd17 and do far no positive opk. Also I feel poorly sick, it is just a cold, should really be dtd tonight but I really don 't feel up for it at all.

I read an article about fertility (was waiting to collect something in Saunsburys and I just skim read it). According to the article the best time to dtd is 48 hours pre ov. Also laughter is good for your fertility.

resipsa · 01/09/2012 14:32

BTW, lol as I'm now just two weeks shy of 42

OP posts:
resipsa · 01/09/2012 14:12

wishful - of course not - it's your thread, after all. So pleased it's all going well and you're over the m/c "hump". Hope the sickness, nausea and backache stay away for a while!!!

OP posts:
wishfulthinking1 · 01/09/2012 13:46

Blush just re-read- hope that didn't sound a bit 'I'm still pregnant... Byeeeee' I just wanted to pop by to let you know that I'm still thinking of you and wishing you luck x

wishfulthinking1 · 01/09/2012 13:45

Hi ladies-
Just popping in to say hello and that I still have fx for you all. I'm 8+6 today, so far so good, past the 7 week milestone of the mc. No symptoms to speak of- I'm tired and bloated, but that could easily be explained away by the amount I've eaten over the last 6 weeks and back to work blues!!

Good luck again to you all
X

winkle2 · 01/09/2012 09:19

Hey all

Managed to dtd last night.

Cd13 today and my monitor still says hi - no peak yet which is good as my hub is away till tomorrow.

Hope you're all ok.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 31/08/2012 22:00

Yes, I do have an iphone! And I definitely don't want 233 children lol

Weechops, I have a boy and a girl too so I know they'll say the same to me, sod em! DC 2 today, can start dtd next weekendish I guess? Started my folic acid today, mother2be vitamins specifically. Anything else I should be doing/taking? I'm a noob at this.

weechops · 31/08/2012 12:48

Headache is on the way out finally!

james we are ttc number 3 too :) Have a girl and a boy and if I told any of the family we are trying they would say 'oh but you have one of each you don't need any more' Um yeah but I want more children!

I'm more self confident these days too, especially with my parenting, so any shit from any of them and they will be told where to go. They give me no practical (or emotional) help anyway so don't have the right to lecture me.

And breeeaaatthe, rant over.
