Well we have dtd already today [smug]. Lots of ewcm today which I am taking as a good sign, also v high sex drive today. Whilst dtd I finished before dh did so decided to tinkle as well as winkle so I've can honestly say I tried my best.

I dtd last fri then mon, tues and weds this week and we're not going to be able to dtd till tomorrow now, do you think that's ok?

We're on cd 19 and we're just trying to dtd as much as possible.

Think this last week has been my fertile week but you never know with my stupid messed up cycles!

pretty sure my period is about the start, have an ulcer on my tongue (ever since my erpc in may i have had mouth ulcers before my period starts, plus cramps, plus backache. out for next month too as dh is away with work. might do me a bit of good having a month off from the roller coaster.

Thanks for all the congrats on the ov. Can't imagine the excitement if I actually get a BFP. nic I am very pleased to have oved (was secretly hoping to have oved last week and get a surprise early BFP) at least this way I know when to dtd.

Dh has promised to get home early today. So we can squeeze in a quick dtd before I go and collect dd. will try and dtd again on Sat.

I am firmly in the don't test until don't test until I'm late camp... to me I prefer to be told the natural way that there is no BFP, but that is just me trying not to obsess (fat chance!) and I am a big wuss and just hate seeing the lack of a line, it depresses me for the rest of the day!

U know kitty I totally agree! At uni I always had a q-pounder with cheese meal and full fat coke and a nap and that was me sorted!
Today I am with DS (hyperactive toddler) so I am afraid of the damage he can do but am powerless to stop him!! Plus no nap for me was begging DH to stay home from work

Re testing i think it depends what tests u use. The most sensitive ones seem to allow for testing up to 4 days before AF expected, so that would be about 10 dpo really but everyone is slightly different, so waiting til day AF expected will prob give u most reliable results - most people too impatient to do that tho!!

I think the earlies I've heard of anyone getting a result was 9 days post ov but it was super faint and for most people I think it would be neg so you'd be non the wiser really, I'd wait til 10 days myself and use a frer

Does anyone know when you can first test after ovulation or implantation? I am dying to test but I know it's too early. I think I ovulated on Monday...

The first time I got pregnant I tested too early and kept getting inconsistent results and it drove me up the wall. I should have learnt my lesson. And of course I am imagining all these symptons now....all in my head I am sure.

Well it's finally happened I have a positive opk. well the test line is almost as dark as the control and as they are ic's I am taking that as a positive
We dtd on Wednesday, so need to dtd again tonight and tomorrow and we should be covered.

Hi ladies, can I join this thread, albeit a bit late? I am TTC baby number 2. We just decided to start trying and I think I ovulated on around 3rd September, so I guess I am waiting now to test.
