Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

I think I'm too grumpy (and a bit hostile right now) for the pre-natal threads, where do BESHies go when in purgatory?

fertilityFTW · 11/09/2012 14:01

Just got laughed out of the chemist Blush.
She asked how many so far and I said 3, and that I just wanted a digital one to you know, confirm...but apparently a £10 one isn't more accurate than the 99p one Confused.
Yep, laughed me straight out of the shop (but gave me something for the lurgy symptoms).

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2012 12:41

What what?! is there nekkidness in the air?! Yes good woman, more per sticks, stat! Don't leave us yourself hanging!!

Northey · 11/09/2012 12:27

Go and buy some more sticks to piss on tomorrow. I should think.

Am savagely hacking at garden. Am scratched and stung to buggery but very satisfied with the destruction I have wreaked on things.

fertilityFTW · 11/09/2012 11:06

Not really buying it yet. Fairly convinced its a cheap trick of some sort.

DH - henceforth GB for Ginger Badger, due to gingeryness, bad temperedness and lurgy carrying skills - brought home many germs yesterday and has been lying around moaning since then. I woke up with a sore throat and desire to POAS and beat GB with something heavy. He's resting now Envy while I've just finished scrubbing the bathroom till I was ready to keel over.
Ah well. At least he was home to squint at lines with me.

Wow. Not really sure what to do now.

Northey · 11/09/2012 10:56

Hurrah! Well done fertilityftw! Leave the bag of ishoos - it's v handy as a spare seat.

Luckily I hasn't got dressed yet, so can commence dancing at once.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 10:42

Did someone say "nekkid"???

Congrats FTW Grin

Loving the idea of us all sitting out in the garden with our tartan blankets, perhaps in those old-fashioned wheelchairs. Being hand fed large chunks of chocolate and Wine by gorgeous young men, naturally.

Woo hoo - time for a nekkid dance! :) tassles are on!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 10:29

Congrats FTW. Just assuming it didn't disappear then. I'll get my poor, still slightly sore, buzzwams out. Nekkid dancing, with the essential padding, will commence when you believe it :)

fertilityFTW · 11/09/2012 10:20

umm...faint line.
we've been squinting at it all morning to see if it disappears.

KatAndKit · 11/09/2012 09:18

lemon everyone's experience is different with regards to the bleeding and the clots. I had erpc first time and bleeding was mostly like period afterwards with the exception of one bad night two days later but that only lasted a couple of hours.
Second time I had medical management and there was a fair bit to pass but had 25mm empty sac. Bleeding quite heavy for a few days but manageable with giant maternity pads. If you go natural management you can probably expect to have a bad few hours when it is all going on and then it will become like a heavy period. And yes the earlier the gestation the easier it will be for you.

rie all the best for the FC - hope it goes well.

Proposal would win awards for lack of romance. It followed on from a discussion about contraception.

Northey · 11/09/2012 09:11

What sweets??

Ooh, good luck rie for Fertility Clinic today.

Northey · 11/09/2012 09:10

The muscle aches, but isn't painful. It's just the same as if I'd been exercising, just on one side.

Yes, where is my convalescence nurse, and tartan blanket and garden? Hmm? I am in bed still, with a cat on my feet, wondering if I want to sleep or start my book.

I am also putting off emailing work with the news that I am off for two weeks longer than expected. I feel guilty, and don't know how to phrase it.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 09:08

And I found some sweets that SB failed to eat last night, so that is making me a little happier! :)

Right, I am going to do the bits that absolutely need doing...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 09:05

No worries norf, it is not your fault. Maybe they are just pathetic (and if not, I am sure to find out Wink ). I know I have fairly heavy periods, as I tend to need the belt and braces option (tampax plus pad) for a few days. It is just slightly more challenging without the tampax option... Also, I am sure you bleed a lot more if the pg continues longer. And I am expecting a bit more pain, because I have only had a few serious cramps. Not looking forward to the next week or so. And sorry to be so miserable.

How are things with you? Do you have any side-effects of the evil bum-injection? Are you sitting under that tartan blanket (that is a wonderful idea!!)

Northey · 11/09/2012 08:59

Oh bum, I wish I'd never mentioned it to you :( You never know - they could be used to periods that are one day of a superlite tampon and that's it. So to them, anything heavy and clotty would be alarming. Probably it will be nothing worse than you have already experienced.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 08:54

Sadly I have a big job on tomorrow and if I can at all, I should do it. And it needs a bit more prep. Apart from that I am taking it easy today. Yesterday was much better to be honest, it seems very swings and roundabouts in emotions.

Oh and I ventured into the practical tips for MC fred and now I am shit-scared. It was only 2mm (embie) and about 10mm (yolk sac) surely I won't bleed that badly?!? I am used to passing reasonable size clots, but the way they describe it sounds totally petrifying.

Northey · 11/09/2012 08:34

Hanging on to glimmers of hope is completely unavoidable in my experience, lemons. It's not stupid. There's nothing you can do about it. I'm even hanging on to hope for you that you will burst back in here on Thursdy telling us about a miracle heartbeat.

I had chocolate for breakfast today.

Northey · 11/09/2012 08:31

Oh lemon, you sound wretched. Should you actually be at work at the moment? I know some people would rather have the distraction, but you sound like you should be under a duvet. Or possibly sitting in the garden with a tartan blanket over your knees and a nurse bringing you special convalescence drinks.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 08:30

Thanks FSR, there is an idea. In a stupid hanging on to glimmers of hope, I've been holding off from wine until after the scan to confirm it is all over on Thursday. But SB thinks it is best if I am not having random (but rather dramatic) fits and bursts of crying when we drown this sorrow. Chocolate however is an excellent plan, SB ate all I had left last night when I was not looking Angry

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 08:14

Oh lemon Sad. Have an easy day, with lots of chocolate and Wine.

Oh and sorry for dispirited weariness, norf. Sounds familiar. My dreams have left I am just totally exhausted now.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 08:10

Morning!

I was at work all day yesterday and then TIRED. But I am back, and miserable, and loosing bits of my innards, in random blobs (but then I have clotty periods, they just normally don't make me cry this much).

Sorry about the arse-injection norf. But well done on bulb-planting. Fww I have flowering sweet peas and dying mint.

Congrats with the getting married, kat!

I am working from home today, so will be popping in (loads)!

Northey · 11/09/2012 06:09

Yes, congratulations, kat! Tell us about the proposal!

Feeling quite glum this morning. Weird dreams all night and a feeling of dispirited weariness now. And jaw clenchiness.

HaveALittleFaith · 10/09/2012 20:28

Oh yes congratulations kat! Grin wonderful news!

We used to joke that MSB's swimmers were going round in circles.... Wink
