Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

Fertility I think it's pretty normal to get some sort of lurgy early in pregnancy - your immune system has to lower its guard to allow an embryo to implant cos it's 50% forrin genetic material. Bean will be fine.

Norfy how are you doing this morning?

Rie that's not very helpful, is it?Mind you, I'm a bit sceptical about the value of AMH testing. Other than telling you that you need to get on with it, of which you are well aware anyway when you are on the wrong side of 35, what does it signify? It doesn't tell you anything about egg quality or how likely it is that swimmers will meet egg, etc.

KatAndKit · 12/09/2012 09:18

Sorry you are feeling poorly. Really though, try not to panic, having the lurgy is unlikely to do any harm to your baybee. Totally tactless thing for GB to say though. Take paracetamol to bring your fever down and rest up in bed with plenty of fluids. It will all be fine but is never nice to have stuff to add to the menkul.

fertilityFTW · 12/09/2012 08:17

Aurgh. Full blown flu now. Throat is raw, head is stuffed up, aching, can't breathe and I feel like absolute shite. GB says lucky it's not as bad as he's got it Hmm. Was reading up on the effects of flu/ fevers etc and pissing myself. Went to lie down, GB comes by and says, sorry for bringing it into the house, bad timing, etc and then, ever tactful, that well, if it can't survive this then it'd probably never come to term anyway Shock. Haven't slept all night, just feel like shit. Fuck. Why now?

Northey · 12/09/2012 08:01

Well thank God you asked about the AMH! Idiot man. Someone else here has got the ovaries of an octogenarian. Who is it?

Now. Is IUI the one where they just inject the spermz in? Or do they do something clever to them first?

HaveALittleFaith · 12/09/2012 07:12

this?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 11/09/2012 22:39

What, the Google homepage?

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2012 22:37

Well it's progress rie, though what a git for saying its all fine but then dropping the AMH bomb on you when you pushed!

norf my tip if you want to stay in the bath a long time is take the bath panel out and pop some loft insulation underneath. Et voila, hot bath for ages! :)

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 11/09/2012 22:27

It's the most disgusting fish I could find

Yes. Am in system. Triffic.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 22:25

What the hell is that Rie?! Looks like someone melted Morph! [disclaimer, I realise it is a member of the fishy family]

Sorry the appointment was mixed. Bloody Drs not giving out all the facts [shakes fist]
So is it a case of "you're in the system, we'll call you when there's an opening" now?

Congrats kat - luffly news :)

Ooh, we have a differ? Congrats!

Well, appt was ok. Not bad, not great. I have the ovarian reserve of an octogenarian, apparently, though he didn't actually mention that but until I asked what the results of the AMH test was. I'll say that again - I asked what the results of the tests were and he said "Fine, all normal." So I asked "I don't know the AMH result yet," and he said "Ah. That. Well, that's very low." YOU FUCKER! Why on earth not mention that until I asked?

Anyway we're on for IUI just as soon as they get it sorted out and see how that goes.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 22:06

Did they give a timeline? A few days, a week? Totally understand you wanting something to happen and soon [gentle fish slap]

OP posts:
Northey · 11/09/2012 22:02

as the thing dies

Northey · 11/09/2012 22:02

I'm meant to get cramping, I think. And a bit of gunk as the thing does and the womb lining breaks down. I just want to feel somethkng, to reassure me it is working.

I really want to know how the mermaid's FC thing went.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 21:54

Don't know anything about your drug Norf, did they explain what to expect?

OP posts:
Northey · 11/09/2012 21:50

I'm fine though extremely sulky about my moussaka which was just horrid. I might as well have spent an extra hour in the bath.

No pain. No bleeding. No nothing. What sort of a shit drug is this? I'm a bit tired and have dry lips. But that's probably from being outdoors gardening.

FrankelSaysRelax · 11/09/2012 21:47

Yes, where is Rie?

Boo to the wait sinky, it's crap isn't it. If its any consolation, time seemed to pass quite quickly between my appointments.

OP posts:
sinkyroselee · 11/09/2012 21:40

With me. Not with my.

sinkyroselee · 11/09/2012 21:40

Congrats ftw

How'd it go Rie?

My clinic have told me not to expect to hear about an appointment till nov at the earliest. Sad. And that's with my trying to pull strings.

How are our tartan blanketed ones?

FizzyFeet · 11/09/2012 21:35

Congrats ftw Grin

HaveALittleFaith · 11/09/2012 16:44

I did 11 tests including one digital with conception indicator even though I knew which day I got diffed and a variety of brands in case on type made a mistake!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/09/2012 16:30

I didn't do a digital - would it be too late now? I was extremely restrained, just one IC and a blood test. Am actually tempted by the out-of-date cheapies now, as I would like to know whether the hcg is going down, as I think it is. I'll get blood-tested at the IF-clinic later this week, so it is pointless.

On clinics, hope Rie got on okay today!

Well done on the hacking norf I am going to do some exercise tonight, as it has cleared up and I have done reasonably useful work today :)

FriendofDorothy · 11/09/2012 14:45

I did one digital. I needed to see the magic word before I believed it!

KatAndKit · 11/09/2012 14:44

If there are sticks left in any of your local shops then you haven't done enough pissing. Fact.
Tis true though the cheapies work just as well but that doesn't mean it isn't essential to see the word in black and white. I'd wait a couple of days till digital though if your line is faint as they are less sensitive.

FriendofDorothy · 11/09/2012 14:40

I tested 15 times in about a week.
