Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

I turn my back for a few hours and you lot have gone from tear-mopping to piss up planning. I am impressed. Can I come too, please!!

YAY for the good cons, that was a few pounds well spent bugs. Although Shock at the vet's bill. Keeping everything crossed for fabulous post-investigation diffage that sticks!

Norf, it is my own choice to battle on, and I am not sure whether it is wise, to be honest. I know I could be signed off. I have (another) big deadline on Thursday, and the check-everything-is-gone appointment on Friday. If that is not okay, I am staying home afterwards. If it is, I am swimming, sechsing and drinking like a fish all weekend.

queenrollo · 18/09/2012 14:13

right......surreptitious hugs for those needing them. I've not been in here for ages and I come back to you lot planning an epic piss-up. You'll have to drink my share for me seeing as I'm not allowed.

bugs I found that there was a palpable relief once I finally got on the road of getting tests done. It's so frustrating to be 'waiting' essentially doing nothing other than the sechs and hoping.....

Northey · 18/09/2012 14:06

A completely wankered 12 day fred orgy. And a massive cluster diff for new year.

sinkyroselee · 18/09/2012 13:39

Ditto. I'll start brewing the sloe gin now. (no guareentee there'll be any left by October, let alone end of dec)

eurochick · 18/09/2012 13:06

Who cares? I'm coming to chez Norfy for Xmas.

Northey · 18/09/2012 12:18

I kill fred with my dissolute ways.

Northey · 17/09/2012 21:19

I want to get wankered! I am on an alcohol and sechs ban till December 10th. Christmas is going to be epic.

It's ok to cry bugs. You must be overwhelmed by emotions. Sadness for the babies you've lost but hope for the future? But also frustration about how long it has taken to get to this point?!

Northey · 17/09/2012 20:32

Oh. Well you sounded quite upbeat before you just cried a bit... It's all so up and down...

Northey · 17/09/2012 20:31

lem, you are putting up with so much at the moment. I'm just in awe of your courage and humour. It's just shit that as soon as you are on the up, you get your feet knocked from beneath you by something else. Can't the universe fuck of and leave you alone for five minutes? I feel really bad that I am off work while you have to struggle on, when you need it just as much as I do.

bugs, you sound really upbeat - did the consultant provide the full... umm... service you were hoping for? He sounds ace though. Hurrah for a good fertility appointment for a change :)

Better to have one month of investigations and getting everything prepped so the next bean sticks, though yes? Cos you never really had any investigations did you?

Blimey, what a day for you bugs! That's fantastic news about Mr Consultant man! I'm so glad it's justified on the NHS. Worth the layout for the private consultation to get things moving though hey?

Poor doggie! Ouch! Glad he's come through alright but I guess he'll be sore for a bit! Thank goodness for insurance :)

:) :(

FrankelSaysRelax · 17/09/2012 19:19

If you want to blub, you should read the text my BF sent me when I to,d her I was feeling crappy about my colleague announcing her diffage:

"I'm sure you dealt with that with grace and humility. stupid pregnant people, and I include myself in that. I know you feel really crappy but remember you're not the only one finding it difficult, but that doesn't matter, you're going to get pregnant when it's time for you I promise. Stay strong and let the stupid pregnant people have their moment because you'll you will have yours."

I cried, she cried!

HaveALittleFaith · 17/09/2012 19:11

Aw you'll make me blub! 'specially wiv the feeling poorly and the hormones! I do hope you'll be diffed again soon. I'm glad you have nice things planned. Dinner sounds good. MSB is feeling....I want to say lazy but that's unkind. His back is sore and we're both shattered. We also really need to do food shopping so I think it'll be bacon butties for
tea in our house!

Yes things with MSB and I are getting there slowly. It took a long time to get to where we reached. Being diffed has certainly brought us closer together and given us joy but it's no magical cure! I do feel confident we'll get there now where I wasn't sure at one point Confused

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/09/2012 18:57

You know faif, I don't really "know" you, but I think you are wonderful. You have been so supportive and helpful to me (and other beshes). So even with your due date 2 days before mine, I think you can have your baybee. but I am feeling quite scared about dealing with that point in time if we haven't gotten a successful diffage by then You really deserve him or her. I do hope things with MSB will be resolved further in the meantime, but it does feel like you're on the right track...

As to good things planned, we're doing okay. We have another two weekends away (one local with friends, one to Paris to drink and be merry) as well as two weeks leave in November. I think I have to battle through...

I am doing sideline work stuff now, will try and get most of it done tonight. I just had to get passed the insensitive comments (from someone who only knows I was suddenly ill last week, and doesn't have a clue about all the ensuing shite I've been through).

SB is cooking and it does not look too bad.

HaveALittleFaith · 17/09/2012 18:42

I fully understand the difficulty as EDD comes around and will respect that. Obviously it's up to you and if there's things you need to resolve that will help you feel better. Can you book some annual leave to have a break to aim for when the tough stuff is over? And book some nice things to do?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/09/2012 18:37

But the other thing is, I get lonely when I am home and dwell on things, which makes me weepier... Difficult!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/09/2012 18:37

Baking and period dramas do appeal, I'll admit!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/09/2012 18:36

Well, the issue is, I haven't told New Work I had a MC, and I don't really want to. I returned to work today and did okay, I think. Sadly the feedback is sideline related, but important to me and needs to be dealt with by Thursday at the latest. So I mainly want to hide from evil differs (lovely company excluded, although I'll hate you when the EDD nears, I fear) and sideline-work. But the latter has a hard deadline. Oh, I don't know. SB thinks I should pass it on to someone else to deal with... But that is easier said than done.

Just want to cry. Thankfully SB has arrived home to burn dinner, so that is an excuse for crying Wink
