Sounds lovely driz. Well, as lovely as the aftermath could be I suppose. And very sensible thinking on your part. Have a Wine as a well done.

I'm keeping a low profile due to work and general miz-ness. Just fed up. Cd 80 today. Feel bloated and crap. No intrest in sech. I blame the hormones. Ghj, sensibly, but not that I'd tell him has said I was fine for yrs after coming off the pill. Didn't have a period for a year or more. So it prob is all in my head, but, meh.

Not helped my my searching for my ivf unit waiting times. Futility friends has a fred where women who had tests after me are getting appointment dates. I rang last week, got told off for pestering, then told they couldn't find my paperwork/results and that they were probably on their way to the sec to make an appointment. Maybe.

Meh.

Glad weekend been fun faife. When are you next hitting any exciting milestones?

How's everyone else?

Meh. I am cracking on to the half bottle of red left from Friday though. It seemed like the only sensible thing to do.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 23/09/2012 15:04

And what were your numbers, norf? I am keeping everything crossed - which is making typing challenging Wink

Well done for much soft-play and having a lovely alarm clock faif.

I went quiet because exhaustion overtook me. I guess it is only natural after the weeks I've had. So I am going to just potter on the internet, read my book and drinks cups of tea today.

It is two cycles off including the current one, if and when we move from miscarrying to cycling again. And the reason they give is that most people's cycles go a bit mental for the next few after miscarriage, mainly due to residual hcg for the first one and general hormonal upheaval for the second one. They don't like you to inject for much more time than you usually would. And since I had quite a few side effects, I am happy to go with that. Also SB and I have a bit of leave booked in November, which is probably when the cycle after this one will be, so we can go away, charge the batteries and drink our body weight in nice wine :)

HaveALittleFaith · 23/09/2012 08:40

Blimey you lot went quiet overnight! I know bugs was drinking her body weight....what was everyone else up to?

DNephew slept til 7.15 when we got a little Faith/MSB I fink it's morning! The sky is very bright! hollering from the bedroom. We've been watching Ben and Holly and Peppa. He always sleeps past 7 with us. I've been lulled into false sense of security haven't I?!

HaveALittleFaith · 22/09/2012 14:14

Afternoon all. I ave today braved the soft play - twice in one week! - because we are supervising DNephew while Sis and BIL are at a non-kiddie wedding. He has blown off lots of steam :) and we're chilling on the sofa watching Peppa Pig. Might take him to the park later (when MSB wakes up from his nap. Bless him, he's so tired from so many weekends on the trot and he's not sleeping well due to stress :( ).

I'm glad it's over lem. I'm so sorry you had to got through this. Tonight treat yourself to a large Wine.

Frankers that spotting is a bit odd! Have you mentioned it to the clinic? Enjoy the time with your luffly friend.

Hope it's good news norf.

Northey · 22/09/2012 12:31

Glad it's all sort of over, lem. But why do they make you wait two cycles??

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 22/09/2012 12:26

And FSR impressed at hamper making and giving. I am still in avoiding all babies (except my favourite nephew) mode... Well done you!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 22/09/2012 12:26

Just popping in to say the MC was indeed complete. Still a fair bit of gunk in there, so the doc expects spotty bleeding for the next week. But we only get to start treatment again after two full cycles that is bloody December so a bit meh about that. But been out in the sun, and got surprised by a torrential down-pour, so now showered and changed.

Keeping stuff crossed for you norf! And impressed with MSB, faif.

Waves and octopuses to you all :)

FrankelSaysRelax · 22/09/2012 09:38

Hello all, I'm still lurking.

Norf all fingers and yes crossed for your results to show a decent drop.

Any news drizz?

I've still been spotting and yesterday it was red rather than brown Hmm. I haven't ov'd yet so clutching at straws it is not the fabled implantation bleed.

Going to deliver my long-planned hamper of goodies to my BF this afternoon. She's due in 3 weeks and I want to make sure it's in situ in time. One of her other friends (who has a 6 week old) has arranged a surprise baby shower for next weekend. I did ask her if she wanted me to organise one a month ago and she said she didn't like the idea of the fuss! I hope she takes the surprise well!

I wish I had a cashmere blanket...

Northey · 22/09/2012 09:23

Blood taken. Fingers crossed for a good drop...

eurochick · 22/09/2012 09:21

I got a cashmere blanket in this year's January sales. It is like being wrapped in little clouds of loveliness. Using it is one of the few things there is to look forward to about winter.

HaveALittleFaith · 21/09/2012 20:37

It's so soft :)

Don't worry, I didn't get a lunch break so I had a Maccy D's on the way home. Just had a steak sandwich (albeit cremated steak and GF roll!). I had it with mayo, onions and garlic. It was very tasty!

Do you feel ready to go back to work?

Northey · 21/09/2012 20:16

I am, faif, you classy, slanket-enrobed madam. I too am engaging in a night of top classiness, by waiting for my sister to bring me a secret MacDonalds. Oh the shame. Back to work in a week though, so I will resume proper diet and exercise then.

HaveALittleFaith · 21/09/2012 20:11

Well no news from drizz so I'm assuming she's off galanbanting at work shindigs.

I, on the the hand, am in my slanket. I feel a tad emotional about how thoughtful a gift it was from MSB for our anniversary. Did I tell you the label on the box says 'once size fits most'?!

norf are you safely ensconced in the big smoke snow?

You know the worst thing drizz? I came in because I didn't want to cancel a meeting I was running. Only one Blardy person showed up! Angry Anyway I'm alright. Working at a snail's pace. From Wed I'm working with someone else handing the job over so it'll be different.

Hoping for no news then drizz! And good luck norf. Let's hope your bodies are doing as they are supposed to!

Is the reaction just about how quickly it came round bugs? Scary I bet but better to be commencing this stage of the journey hey?

Northey · 21/09/2012 10:41

Good luck for today, drizz. I am on my way back from Wales to London ready for tomorrow morning's blood test. I am very much looking forward to a time when neither of us is doing this any more...

alwyn · 21/09/2012 09:06

Fingers crossed you get the result you need Smile

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 21/09/2012 08:52

Just caught up - I am preparing a phone call really and I wanted to throw a bucket load of shrimp at alwyn and hug her in the ensuing chaos. That is so rubbish. I have no useful thoughts, but this amount of stress can't be good for you. Look after yourself.

Just a quick tut at faif for going back to work too soon - when did you do that last? And how much time off before you were sort of better?

Oh and initiating is definitely SB's although he gets less enthusiastic when he's stressed too. We did have the who starts chat years ago, and now I try to iniate a bit more frequently (although he does occasionally turn me down, which I rarely do).

On the topic of TMI. Shitting myself for scannage later. But if all good, I am off to a few work-things afters. So won't be able to update you lot. If not, I'll be here moping. So hopefully speak to you tomorrow :)

Northey · 20/09/2012 23:15

Why the shiiiit?? That sounds great to me! Is it just alarm at everything starting?
