NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 11:14

Fx winkle.

redstrawberry · 14/08/2012 11:03

hope the tests go well and you get some answers soon winkle - fx for that BFP this weekend.

frustratedpants · 14/08/2012 10:59

Hoping your tests go ok today winkle

winkle2 · 14/08/2012 10:54

Thanks kitten. I'm feeling ok today. Off for my tests soon. Meeting a friend later so can confide in her in real life which is nice.

Cd24 here. If we go by the monitor then BFP due this weekend!

But if we go by my real life stoopid messed up cycles BFP due God knows when...

redstrawberry · 14/08/2012 10:47

kitten I am feeling much more positive. I have started obsessing again. I promised myself I wouldn't but its sort of like my mind won't listen. So plotted due dates and implantation dates etc. Basically i am very excited.

I am hoping that finger swelling and thrashing dreams is a good sign kick

Interesting link that was!

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 10:44

Ooh...I was VERY sweaty last night too. Nasty.

And I don't know about blood tests, I'd have to investigate. Some ladies go weeks without positive tests. Very odd indeed, but does happen.

Just got excited at having damp knickers! It was just lots more CM though. Interesting! (Or not, for anyone else!)

resipsa · 14/08/2012 10:18

Nic could you get a blood test done anywhere? It might help to settle your mind if the urine BFNs continue but no AF...

KickTheGuru · 14/08/2012 10:18

Nicola - random but I've had to take all my rings off today as well Hmm

I also had a weird episode last night. My DH woke me up because I seemed to thrashing about - kind of like a really big fit. I woke up drenched and disorientated. Wasn't a hypo since I got up to go to the loo and was fine - stats were fine this morning. Could have just been overheating??

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 09:54

Hi kitten, yes, very frustrating!

And no, not at all AF like. It is all very weird indeed.

Maybe my body has decided that a nice regular cycle is overrated!

resipsa · 14/08/2012 09:42

Kick if you're rewarded for effort in the coming month, you'll be having triplets next May! Shock

Kittenkatzen · 14/08/2012 09:32

Ah ha - found you! Leave you all to it for one little evening and you bugger off onto a new fred......

nicola how bloody frustrating for you - are you not feeling even remotely af-like? I really hope the witch isn't just playing tricks on you!

when ShockGrin at the vicar and his wife!

winkle/red hope you're both feeling a bit more positive this morning?

off to read kick's link now....

redstrawberry · 14/08/2012 08:39

morning! This is where you all are... I kept checking the old thread and realised it reached a 1000 posts! gosh we can chat :)

I actually laughed out loud at the balls on ice and funny sex stories....haha.
I admire your determination kick and I really hope you don't have to freeze DHs balls ;) and get your BFP this month itself.

I had a good sleep last night - slept like a baby. Was so tired. Must have been all that crying over the olympics and staying up late to watch the closing ceremony. Thanks for your OV and LH surge posts kick - I was reading it and did the math - My LH surge on Sat lasted less than 24 hours. Which means the egg may have dropped on Sunday. We dtd on Fri and Sun so I am hoping we caught it.

Some google sites say when the surge is the highest (i.e. when your line is the darkest - mine was darker than the control line) is when the egg is about to pop. Still intending to dtd when DH is back so we don't rely on OPKs alone.

swimmingnotdrowning · 14/08/2012 08:36

Booking my place again after a while away from a computer.

Excellent link - thanks kick.

NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 08:24

No AF. I've had a 28 day cycle and a 26 day cycle the last two cycles.

So I was due at some point from Sat to yesterday.

Bit annoying, but could just be haywire cycle, I suppose.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 14/08/2012 07:58

So no af either then? Are you officially late?

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 14/08/2012 07:22

Still BFN.

Sore breasts have been joined by fat fingers! My engagement ring usually has plenty of movement. Nigh on wedged on my finger and digging in today!

Not a symptom of anything, I'm sure, but annoying all the same. :-/

frustratedpants · 13/08/2012 23:42

ooh new fred.

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 23:34

Over a year now. We've been monitoring for longer than that as well because we didn't want to fall pregnant too soon before we got married (PAH!) so we were careful. Idiots.

I do read a lot and I do a lot of research on things. I tend to hate not knowing anything so I read a lot of the medical journals and get a lot of stats.

It doesn't make me popular - lemme tell you. On top of having every single "pregnancy" symptom under the sun and that all landed up actually just being severe ketoacidosis and nearly dying. Basically Grin

So I don't believe in symptoms anymore... :)

This is a good link to have a read of:

Lolcbcb · 13/08/2012 23:28

Thanks kick. You must have worked really hard to reduce them levels! I can understand your frustration though. Simone could have made things clear to you earlier! U do sound amazingly knowledgeable though. How long have u been ttc?

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 23:25

I have had tweaks and pulls and I've told myself it's definitely implantation swimming

KickTheGuru · 13/08/2012 23:23

Lol I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 2 months ago and your average of glucose in your blood over the past 3 months is called the hba1c and is a percentage. Mine when I was diagnosed was 15.9%. I think normal should be between 4 - 6% (could be wrong). They are happy with a diabetic to be between 5 - 8%. You have to be under 7% to conceive since a higher hba1c contributes to an increased risk of neural and congenital defects (the neural tube forms in the first 3 weeks). That's why folic acid is so important but I take more folic acid (about 8 times more) than a non-diabetic :)

It's like that South Park episode where the parents are up in arms because the kids don't get sex education at school and it's not up to the parents to teach them

winkle2 · 13/08/2012 23:23

Hey all

Loved the funny sex stories when

Thanks to all for support and listening.

Have dtd again this evening. Then I lay with legs in the air and burst into tears! Not sure that's the reaction a man wants to see after sex! I've just had a rubbish day as you all know.

Hoping tomorrow will be better :)

NicolaHazel · 13/08/2012 23:19

Oh dear god...epic sex fail! :-)

Lolcbcb · 13/08/2012 23:19

Kick the image of your DH with balls in the ice made me giggle! Grin
Forgive my ignorance but what is hca1 level you had to lower?
I think if u have such an active sex life u are giving yourself the best shot. I know what u mean when our minds trick us. Think I'm going through that right now Blush
