Just seen a thread from whiteandyelloworchid In the mc section, I was on a thread with her months back and she's just mc at 12 wks, just gues to show what I was saying before, I remember being so jeleous of her and now shes in a horrible horrible position I wouldn't wish on anyone!! Really sad for her

@swimming. 13 dpo should do u, all things being equal. Some can get a positive at 9 or 10 dpo. I tend to pee in a pot and stick the test in it. Generally easier, however I have accidentally thrown pee all over toilet floor and myself. But that's just me!

Asking this as a poas virgin - how effective are the early tests? I am going to try to hold out for AF again this month but if I cave what are the chances of an accurate test.? Eg if I make it to 13dpo will the test work? Also I read on here the SuperDrug non-digital are best - any thoughts? And also, erm, logistics - is it easy enough to actually get the p on the s?

Or you could tell me to be strong and if I don't buy any I can't start an unhealthy obsession. I have been strong for 6 cycles so I'm not sure why I think my resolve is weakening this time!

Some of my friends will often go out and get legless. And I don't just mean have a couple, and take their kids. The older ones have to look after the younger ones. I can't do it. It's shocking how some people behave with their kids.

I thought I was overrun with bumps and buggies today at lunchtime until I noticed that one of the buggies was actually a sort of dog pram with an elderly mongrel / terrier type in it which gave me a fit of the giggles!

And Red I know where you're coming from re bad parents. Took DD into city this afternoon for tea. Saw endless Mums smoking over prams and/or feeding little ones McDs (when Boots with pre-packed sarnies and fruit is next door). Either that or kids stuck in prams and being ignored completely. Sigh.

RIBS I cause myself injury without blinkers so God knows the damage I could do with them. Strongly agree that alcohol a friend in these times (at the end of an excellent night out).
