We filled the last one so I thought I would start no 2.

Ooooh we may have a winner!

Was it an internet cheapie? (sorry just got up and too excited to read back!)

When do your Superdrug ones arrive?

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:34

It was very, very pale pink. Not grey.

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 10:31

Easiest question is this:

If you look at it, does it look almost a bit like a shadow? Or a ghost of a line?

Can you very clearly (even if blurry) see the colour?

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:16

Scared shitless I was mistaken about the line it was so faint.

Arrrggghhhhh!!

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:01

I've got a better one on the way...it's a nightmare though.

Feel odd today. Spaced out, awful boobs, dry mouth etc. And lots more CM.

I may crack and buy a test at lunch.

Weeing more too. Oh, and low back ache.

This had better be real else I'm falling apart!!!

Fx to everyone else. Sorry again resipsa.

fatasbutter · 16/08/2012 09:46

I sound like Yoda in that last sentence don't I?!! Grin

fatasbutter · 16/08/2012 09:45

Oh yes resipsa you should only say its 3 months!!

I didn't have to wait for my mmc, as I had had a private scan at 6+5 (got dates confused) and had a bit of brown mucus at 9 weeks so went to epu - turns out the baby died on the same day I'd had my early scan Sad and I thought all was ok as I'd seen a heartbeat then - biggest shock ever. Plus I'd gone on my own to the scan which was a bit surreal. Everyone asking you what you want to do about it etc and all you can think is 'but I'm pregnant aren't I?!' - wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Oops sorry for bringing Fred down!!! Happy thoughts!! Sun shining!! BFPs!!

But seriously nic get a better test I would - it's no fun in limboland! X Wink

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 09:26

res I too was not sure I wanted kids till recently. It has something to do with the fact that I was married to the wrong man Grin and only married my lovely husband 2 years ago. So I only came off the pill at 36. Was not actively trying but then it happened and I mc'd at 7 weeks. Now I am crazy to have one! Amazing how I've changed in the last few weeks due to this.

Kittenkatzen · 16/08/2012 09:20

Fx for you nic, keep us posted!

winkle2 · 16/08/2012 08:51

Fx nic!!

Cd26 here!

Managed a cheeky dtd last night! So we've dtd eod or every 2-3 days since cd9, apart from last week when we only dtd tues and sat.

Been reading up in sperm morphology and it seems like 1% is low but because everything else from husbands SA came back as normal, 1% shouldn't affect fertility. Will still be asking the docs on ways to improve it though!

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 08:40

I can't not drink, sadly, my office sucks all moisture out, so I drink loads during the day!

And that may be true, red, my body tricked me with my two sub-30 day cycles, maybe!

I just don't know anymore.

resipsa · 16/08/2012 08:35

Red Wink - try to say I'm as old as the man I feel (so only just 36!).

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 08:30

Try not to drink much water to get concentrated weeing if you are POAS again today nic :)

Hope it gets darker over the next few days.

Here's a possibility - Since you came off the pill a few months back - your cycle could be longer and you OVed much later and hopefully it means you've technically not missed AF yet which explains the faint positive?!

Repisa 42 is not too old either! Theres always hope and time :) This will be your year.

resipsa · 16/08/2012 08:28

Fatas mine was MMC too - that wait from the first scan after a small bleed at 6 weeks to the confirmation that all was lost at 9 weeks + was probably the worst time of my life (with the exception of losing my daddy (yup, was still a "daddy's girl" at age 38) in 2008). I'm still worried that the MMC/ERPC might have messed me up which is irrational but I now get these really werid pre-AF symptoms that I never had before (and which make me think every bloody month that this might be it but it never is, as was proved yesterday after I'd calculated my next mat leave dates!).
We've been trying for 12 months now as in we started in Sept 11 but how do you factor in the MCC as it wiped out the first four months of the year? I feel better if I think that we've only been trying for 3 months, ie since May...

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 08:24

Thank you for the good wishes.

I'll do cheapies until my CB ones arrive now, I think. May as well do that, I think, now I've bought them!

May drive myself mental today!!

woody17 · 16/08/2012 08:23

nicola fx the line gets stronger. I did find that the internet cheapies that I have bought were negative before CB digitals when I was waiting for a -ve after my mc. I really hope you get a strong +ve!

Dexidoo · 16/08/2012 08:11

I don't think I've even ovulated yet this month hence the wise POAS advice, come the 2ww it will obviously be a different story Wink

[waves hello to all the newbies and oldies] congrats on your low HBA1c kick that is a testament to your hard work, also well done on the job offer/s!

After all the discussion about jobs I was debating whether to out myself as 'medical' but there is no doubt that I have learnt plenty here so I think it is pretty irrelevant (except access to unlimited sticks to pee on !!)

Dexidoo · 16/08/2012 08:02

This does sound promising Nicola. Keeping my fx your line becomes darker- try to wait until tomorrows FMU there is no point in torturing yourself all day x

fatasbutter · 16/08/2012 07:59

And obv have used them since an they have all been definite BFN's!

fatasbutter · 16/08/2012 07:57

resipsa I had a mmc in march too - it seems like years ago in terms of TTC since then!!

nic go and get a Superdrug test - for both my pg's I used them and they were good - never had to squint/hold up to light!!

resipsa · 16/08/2012 07:50

Hi Lol yeah, a gorgeous DD aged 18 months. Had her when I was 40 after years spent thinking I didn't want kids. She is just so lovely that I'm desperate for no. 2 but will always have her even if we don't get lucky again. Miscarried in March this year so know the body is still willing in part, at least! You?

Lolcbcb · 16/08/2012 07:42

Have u got any kids res?
I'm 38 and I've decided not to let anyone put me down re age. We just need to keep trying!
Woke up with a headache Sad

resipsa · 16/08/2012 07:31

Nic any new news? I'm sure when I wasn't TTC that my body worked like clockwork but I guess it's only cause we're all now so vigilant that we notice any blips. I would have put money on getting a BFP this month given the way I was feeling physically but was proved wrong yesterday. Pls don't feel too old. Leave that to me who'll be 42 in four weeks Sad. Feeling a little easier with the possibility that it might never happen this month. Think they call it acceptance. I call it exhaustion.

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 07:27

Don't need to squint, but do need bright light.

I'm not taking it as anything other than extra head fuck right now!

I am so awkward :-/

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 07:22

How imperceptible? Squinting required or no squinting?
