We filled the last one so I thought I would start no 2.

The other thing I've heard is that when PG, your boobs go from being sore one day, to nothing the next day.

I'm sad today. It's just never going to happen for me. I know it won't :(

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 11:41

I'll bear the progesterone in mind when my boobs start to deflate again.
Although last month with my CP - they were sore, heavy, big then the day before I got the faint +ve they were tingling but weren't sore anymore - started to deflate. So maybe the lining had decided to shed and bring on AF.
5dpo - possibly today!

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 11:31

Going...I've had loads of creamy CM since OV this month. Ridiculous amounts, in fact.

I keep thinking it's AF, but it is just CM. Nice, eh?!

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 11:25

bananas

CM is highly changeable throughout your cycle. There is unfortunately, no "one size fits all" with regards to how I bodies react. CM is actually quite unreliable when it comes to all this.

Remember that month on month, we all think we're pregnant. One day, we're bound to be right. And then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy :)

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 11:22

Oh and sudden increase in CM yesterday. Humped for fun.

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 11:20

Red - progesterone naturally increases after ovulation. At about 11dpo it hits a peak.

If there is a fertilised egg, the progesterone will continue to rise
If not, it will drop off and signal the start of AF

goingbananas30 · 16/08/2012 11:19

Pls i need to know if this has happened to anyone b4... getting creamy yellow CM after ovulation... Is that a good or bad sign plus no boob tingling, just a few twigs now and then.....

resipsa · 16/08/2012 11:19

Fatas I had a private scan too (at 6.5 weeks after bleed); the problem was that the sac was the size it should have been so I had to go back and when I went for a repeat, it had grown again so had to go back again. They wouldn't confim anything until 9 weeks +. I get why as they don't want to terminate a healthy pregnancy but, God, it's cruel when you're waiting!

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 11:08

My boobs are distracting me, ha ha!

resipsa · 16/08/2012 11:05

red don't know where you are but private scans here (Manchester) are £95. Worth every bloody penny.

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 11:04

I bought some Amazon early pregnancy tests - so I will join you in the peeing marathon kick - they only cost £2.80 for a pack of 15! Don't feel so guilty about peeing on them!

I will pee on the expensive FRER when I am a week late or if I get a BFP - whichever comes first!

frustratedpants · 16/08/2012 11:01

FXing and goose-bump tingling for you nic

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 10:56

Kick you can still fall pregnant with no sore boobs...does progesterone decrease when AF is about to arrive? sorry just curious!

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 10:53

IF it was "grey" or a "shadow" or a "ghost" - and not completely apparent when you look at it, it could be an evaporation line. That's why I asked :)

redstrawberry · 16/08/2012 10:52

Hello going afraid same as what kick said too...please do share your ttc story with us :)

nic the suspense is killing me. wondering how you feel! I know the limbo land feeling all too well. Its why I am even more determined now to wait till I am a week late.

I wonder how much the private scan costs fatas? If I do fall pregnant part of me will refuse to believe it till I see a heartbeat - blaming it on the cp destroying belief.

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 10:52

Yep agree with Kitty. If it's a clear coloured line that you can see colour in, it won't detect that hormone unless you are pregnant.

kittykatsforever · 16/08/2012 10:49

Nic the first I did was a cheepie and I swore I could see a shaddow kept looking at it but didn't show anyone as it was so faint I thought they'd say I'd lost my mind, I bought a frer the next morning and the line was there but so so faint but dh said yes he could see it, so considering you've had definate bfn before like I did and no af and all the symptoms, stop torturing yourself, I'd go and by a frer BUT just remember you are obviously only just showing the hormone in your body, dont expect it to suddenly jump out at you for atleast another 4 days probably, it will be faint but if you keep getting lines then I'd say be happy, on the risk of being accused of getting hopes up ive never had a line when I wasn't pregnant, all the tests were definate bfn no matter how many lights I held them up to!

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 10:48

I reckon I'm out. I can touch my boobs (only place on the planet where this makes sense) and don't jump through the roof. They still hurt but I think it's less

Non-fertilised egg = lower progesterone post-ovulation

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:45

Ha ha...that is true.

Making light is fine. I don't mind :-)

Nom nom, a chocolate muffin has just appeared on my desk. Lovely stuff!

resipsa · 16/08/2012 10:42

Hi Going. As Kick said Grin.

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:42

And hi Going!!

Your name is apt for me today!

Thing is, it could still be a CP, couldn't it? So many of you have had them that I know not to count chickens.

resipsa · 16/08/2012 10:41

Nic without making light of it all (and we all know it's shit for you in limbo land as Fatas said), this is becoming strangely addicitive. I reckon we could make a profitable TV show out of TTCers going thru' the mill from month to month...

NicolaHazel · 16/08/2012 10:39

It was a shit cheapie.

I have 2 CB conception indicators on the way!

Can't concentrate.

KickTheGuru · 16/08/2012 10:38
