OMG!!!! moon'suptheduff!!!!

Grin Grin Thanks

That's just the best news I've heard since 4evers last scan!! Great to hear you're feeling rubbish too, all good signs that the hormones are doing their thing! Sending every sticky bean vibe xx

Woop woop!!!

moonmrs · 04/02/2013 12:41

Are you ready for a big shock? Grin Wink

I dont know how, I mean I know how, but how?

I have a little bean nestling inside me Grin

We have known for 3 weeks, I am sooo sorry not to have told you sooner, but I wanted to see my mum and sister first before I told you girls, I felt it was bad luck otherwise.

They said we wouldnt conceive without help, so we are calling this little one our Christmas miracle Grin

Think I am about 7 and a half weeks by my calculations, have my booking in appointment on Friday. Omg I am sooo scared but sooo excited! I feel like absolute crap, have never been so tired or starving or felt like my boobs were big heavy bricks, but I am loving it and hoping these are good signs.

Neeko · 03/02/2013 09:56

Hi.
4ever I Grin every time I lurk and see that things are progressing so nicely with dc2. Try to stay as chilled as possible (easier said than done, I know) and to enjoy your growing bump. It sounds like S is going to be a very caring big sister.

Sabs Equally pleased to hear of you blooming. The weeks are flying and it won't be long until this lo is in your arms and you are counting fingers ad toes.

Rumours I'm also worried that you haven't been around in a while. Hope you're ok.

Buddha Hope you're ok and have done something nice this weekend.

Monkey so lovely to have you back on here. Had a Smile at DS getting up to ask when the alarm will go off. They are so persistent! How did you get on at the new hospital? The puppy sounds adorable btw. Two wee people in this house would live one but I'm not one of them! Smile

Blue I bet you have loads of plans for your new garden. We went for a walk yesterday at our local national trust place. The sun was shining and there were literally millions of snowdrops everywhere. So lovely after all that wind and rain.
You have my sympathies for the sleep situ. DD2 has been simply awful with sleep since Xmas. I think we've had 3 uninterrupted nights and DH and i are on our knees. She wants us to sing Shock to her in the middle of the night and will waken us up to 20x. She's never been a great sleeper, but this is like being back in the trenches of bf land. I am not the most patient when sleep deprived and it has resulted in less-than-adequate parenting moments Sad. I'd happily climb in beside her but she refuses to move into a big girl bed. Big deep breaths. This too will pass.

Barbie lovely to hear from you again but sounds like you've been having a hard time of it. Hope all the sickness has passed and normality (if there is such a thing) has returned.

Hi to Cupcake and LBM. Hope all the snow has gone now. We had none! Hmm New sledge is still lying untouched in the garage. DD1 became an avid watcher of the weather report, but no joy.

Apologies if I've missed anyone. My skin has almost cleared (finally) but as I think it was in part stress-related, I'm trying not to put too much on my inner to-do list which means you ladies sometimes get bumped Blush. It is a relief that the thread is somewhat slower moving these days - I'd never keep up if we were still in 'new-thread every few weeks' land.
I've also started the 30 day shred again for some dedicated 'me' time and with a view to that Florida holiday in July that is fast approaching. It's tough, but I'm determined to complete the programme this time.

monkeyisback · 03/02/2013 08:43

Just a quick one as racing around, but blue what about you going into his bed for a little while to settle him back into it? If ds comes into us in the night and really doesn't want to go back to his bed I just get in for a five minute cuddle. I tell him it'll only be for five mins and by then he's settled back down and I get to go back to my bed! We also have a rule that he doesn't get into our bed until the alarm goes off in the morning. Sounds great but backfires as he'll come in every few minutes to ask when it's going to go off Grin
Good luck!

Must dash, but love to all xxx

bluesatinsash · 01/02/2013 14:25

Back as promised Smile but of course you?ve all burgered off for the weekend Grin

Buddha I think its great you?re looking into acupuncture. Anything that makes our soul feel tended to and looked after can only be good for ttc. It?s one of the cruel facts of ttc that how we feel emotionally can affect our bodies physically. Look at how many of us fell pg during a holiday when we were away from the normal grind Smile.

neeko lovely to see you popping in Smile. Not long until February half term! Are you guys doing anything?

4ever can?t believe you?re almost at your 20 week scan Shock That?s just amazing. When is the grand unveiling of the flavour? . Three years is a great age gap too as S will be going to pre-school and you will get some dedicated new baby time. How?s the re-mortgaging going Confused? I totally took my hat off to my DH for keeping calm when we were moving house last year, all the ins and outs of changing mortgage and we were staying with the same Building Society!

Rumours - you?ve been very quiet of late and the thread isn?t the same without you honey Sad. I hope you?re OK and things are getting there. I don?t think our absolutely rubbish summer last year helped the Scottish mood in general. I will weep if its rainy this year, please let us get some decent weather, please!!

Barbie - young H looked so handsome in your FB photos, so like his gorgeous big sister too. Any sightings of Posh and Becks yet? Wink

Sabs - WOW! Can?t believe you?re so far on, let us know how your scan goes on the 6th x

I?m so glad January is gone, nights are starting to draw out and I?m itching to get stuck into my new garden. We?re having a bit of a time with young B as he has gotten into the habit of coming through to us every night @1am and we just bring him in. We didn?t want to do controlled crying as he has had a lot to contend with (moving, starting pre-school, out of nappies etc) but I?m going to have the bite the bullet and get strict as DH and me are knackered. He?s just too cute and cuddly though it?s hard to be harsh when he?s pleading with me ?don?t like my bed Mummy, want to sleep with you?. We do insist he starts off in his bed at least but ?gah! ? to think I was a Gina Ford follower when they were tiny, I?d get thrown out her club these days Grin.

Waves to everyone else LBM, Louey. cupcake, moon and all our other lurkers xx

p.s. Buddha time to lose the xmas baubles Grin

Neeko · 01/02/2013 07:46

Running in to give Buddha a huge hug. MLS swears by accu for both falling pg and preventing mc. Very good for stress too so worth a try. Just remember you have successfully done this before so there's NO reason why it won't happen again when the time is right.

Sorry guys, been lurking and hope to catch up with you soon.

BuddhaBellyXmasBaubles · 01/02/2013 04:32

As I'm wide awake at this god forsaken hour (thanks to a small person) I've been researching acupuncture and I'm going to ring a place tomorrow Wink

bluesatinsash · 31/01/2013 22:38

Hi lovelies Smile

Been lurking but not been on PC to do proper post and hate using phone as its so hair triggery.

Promise big catch up on my lunch at work tomorrow, just wanted to add my hugs to Buddha and echo 4ever's suggestion of acupuncture. I had two sessions before falling pg with B and whether it did anything or was placebo affect - it worked!

4ever so glad your appointment went well and left you feeling looked after and listened to xx

barbie sending lots of love and anti-bacterial vibes your way xx

Will be back tomor, laters! xx

BuddhaBellyXmasBaubles · 31/01/2013 20:48

Thank you 4ever Smile

4everhopeful · 31/01/2013 11:33

Aw Buddha really sorry to hear that, I know how disheartening it must be, totally understand from my recurrent miscarriage tests, when nothings found to be 'wrong', you're left feeling hopeless, but in your case, there is a positive to be found, cos although there isn't some miracle cure, there's still the fact there's no reason it can't happen for you.. Hold onto that fact hon.. Also your drs sounded really good before, might clomid be an option? How about acupuncture too? Our lovely mermaid was a great fan, as was mls, just a thought.. Anyway for now, a big hug and a glass of Wine cos know you're bound to be feeling utterly crap...

Barbie poor all of you having that horrible bug.... Sad Soooo sorry we all missed little H's 1st birthday too! Blush Belated best wishes to your little man, and hope you get to make up for it soon!

Big waves to all the lurkers!

All ok here, waited nearly 3hrs Shock for my consultant apt yesterday! Almost worth the wait though, was really nice and had specialist midwife in with us too so felt really looked after and reassured... Another scan next week, then nothing til my anomaly scan in march! Will make a change from the weekly visits! Might start venturing out and about a bit more now after my self imposed cotton wool and bubble wrap house arrest! Smile

Actually off to do a few errands and round my mums later, as meant to be having a 'planned ' powercut while they do repair work, letter said from 8am-4pm Shock but currently still got power and can see vans down the rd so might even get away with it! Hmm

OP posts:
BuddhaBellyXmasBaubles · 30/01/2013 12:38

Barbie Sorry to see you're all still poorly Hmm Shame it spoilt Henry's birthday.

Well results are back and all ok, which I knew they would be. Means we're back at square one, no reason for not conceiving, nothing to fix just try try and try. So p**d off to be honest, can't feel positive. Will go back to gp for next step which is hospital referral

Barbie1 · 30/01/2013 09:00

Bleurgh!

The whole house has had the gastro bug, it hasn't been very pretty and ruined Henry's first birthday Sad

buddha I'm here all day, no strength to do anything but sit around, so f you need a hand hold give me a yell

BuddhaBellyXmasBaubles · 30/01/2013 08:10

Dh's results should be back today. I feel a little sick Confused

BuddhaBellyXmasBaubles · 29/01/2013 10:37

Sorry sorry sorry for being AWOL have a Brew or Wine to apologise!
On phone (at work) so no personals Blush Hoping to get dh's test results this week but he forgot to ask how long they take Angry men!
Will try to catch up later x

4everhopeful · 28/01/2013 14:04

Welcome back barbie! Smile Don't go running off again though! Come back and tell us what's been going on with you?! You might even lure some lurkers back to our super quiet thread! Hmm Smile

Sabs nice to see you posting too! Know we've been in touch, but how exciting you're nearly half way there! Grin Holiday sounds lovely! Really looking forward to our last one before the new addition too! Also with you on the huge bump already! Smile

Where is everyone lately?!?! Hmm

Belated Burns night to our Scottish ladies!

Rumours how you doing lovely?

Buddha thinking of you too & hoping the tests went ok? When do you get results?

All ok here, my first hospital free week last week was stressful trying to sort the mortgage, first time without my wage in the equasion so lots of juggling required.. Hmm Thank god for the doppler keeping me sane! Finally seeing a consultant on wednesday, saw our lovely old consultant loads already by this stage with Summer, Hmm I miss him! His replacement is on maternity leave herself so its all been a bit up in the air i think, was meant to see a consultant day after my booking in, but ended up with a hard faced registraar after a 2hr wait - was not impressed, anyway have a list of questions ready for wednesday and am wierdly apprehensive and nervous about it Confused though also excited, as ties in with 16wk check so also seeing the midwife.. Right better dash, my funny little lady is singing away into the microphone Nanna got her for christmas Grin too cute!

Hello ladies, hope you're all well. Sorry I haven't been around, but like Barbie have been trying to keep in touch via FB and WhatsApp. Must try harder!

Barbie good to see you back, you have been missed, and in the name we all prefer for you too Grin Sorry to hear about the drama with your phone Sad How long now till the big move?

4ever good to hear all the scans have been positive. I'm also betting on a boy Grin

cupcake Has the snow cleared up, or are you getting more today? Hope you've managed to leave the house! We had lots of fun last weekend in the snow, Saara made her first snowman in the garden. I of course had to be extra careful as I'm clumsy anyway at the best of times Grin

Buddha big extra squeezy hugs for you. Hope the tests went OK on Wednesday and that E carries on sleeping well.

lbm did you manage to go sledging? We bought one for the first time and Saara loved it, screaming away. All her cousins who are older than her were all apprehensive at first, and just watched Saara having fun, and then joined in after.

monkey so lovely to see you back. Lots of hugs for you too. Hope you and DS are feeling better now.

Rumours extending my hugs to you too. Good to hear the AD's are helping. Hoping the therapy helps as well. Have you got the appointment for DS's appointment? Hope you hear back soon about the PGCE course.

Neeko hope the itching has stayed away. Are you and Blue meeting up next month?

Blue How's B enjoying preschool? Hope you've well and truly settled into your new home. Its going to be a year since we got the keys to our house but it still seems like there lots to do!

Moon If you're lurking, I've been thinking about you a lot. I felt so Sad reading your post. I have everything crossed that 2013 is the start of some good news for you and DH.

louey Nice to see you pop in. Hope you and the boys are well.

Waves to everyone else.

Thanks to everyone for thinking about me. I'll be 19 weeks on Sunday, nearly half way there! The scan and consultant appointment is on 6th Feb, feels like I've been waiting ages for it! Like with Saara, we won't be finding out the sex. I think 4ever has her 17 week scan on the same day? My bump, and everything else is just huge! I've been looking for some prenatal yoga classes that run in the evenings and weekends that dont cost a fortune and am planning to go back to swimming again, like I used to do when I was pregnant with Saara. We've also booked a holiday to Marrakech in Feb half term which I'm looking forward to, a last holiday before we become a family of 4.

Barbie1 · 23/01/2013 19:41

I'm back! Grin

So sorry, please forgive me very looooooooong absence. I haven't caught up but I have been what's apping and texting a few peeps that I still had numbers for.

Long story short.

Phone got stolen, lost all contacts....insurance refused to replace phone as I wasn't attacked Hmm

Went back to uk minus phone, hectic Christmas....no privacy to use pc as mil had it set up in the living room...16 guest and no time to myself!

Back in France, dealing with move, snow and life in general.

Missed you all, phone been replaced by generous dh...so I'm back!

Who wants to fill me in? (Not as in beat me up...even though I deserve it for leaving you!)

Barbie1 · 23/01/2013 19:37

Hello

4everhopeful · 23/01/2013 14:07

Hello oh so quiet thread! Hmm Smile

Lovelyblue just pointed out concernedly Id not posted since my last scan, bless her! Anyway thought id better come back to assure all is still well thank god Smile and yes, we now have a brilliant DVD where littlun did a full on acrobatic display for us! Smile Oh and flavour was reconfirmed but we are still waiting for scan at 17wks before we say, not so long... Wink Have been caught up with the all consuming mindnumbingess of sorting out remortgaging, as end of our term, seem to have phone attached to my ear at the moment - yawn....

Buddha also wanted to come back on to offer a reassuring hand squeeze and wish you & DH luck for his tests today, totally get your need to think negatively, not daring to be positive, but I shall be positive and hopeful for you, as I really hope you'll get some answers and restored faith from all this... On another positive note, great E's ears seem improved and sleep has resumed, so awful when their poorly and you cant magic it better, but fantastic physical relief when there back to there happy cheeky little selves again! Smile

Rumours how you doing lovely? Hope things are improving for you slowly but surely? Don't be a stranger, miss ya!

Cupcake fab you have a lovely night away planned with Dh for his 30th! (You younguns you!) Grin Your post made me Grin Summer is a huge fan of Tickety Tock too! Its all that, that ill miss when she starts preschool, our lovely chilled morning routine of telly & snuggles & dancing round singing & playing...
