were your ferns like the pic i posted?thats the most ive had.i had small ones with blobs for a few days either side of the full ones.

Know exactly how you feel Buffy. Its amazing how obsessed you can become. I got really excited yesterday as I had the most ferns I've ever had, but still don't think it was quite full ferning, then this morning there's less again so looks like still no ov. Also dd had cut down so much on bf I reckon I could stop totally, but this makes me feel sad even though she doesn't seem bothered. Life is definately tough as a woman!

hiyah again!well,still no af.decided to not keep thinking about it (if thats going to be possible!)rubymummy,im still bf aswell.dd has been going on alot more the past few weeks,so maybe thast messing up my hormones aswell.i dont know,need to stop obsessing about getting pg.dd was asleep yesterday and i just sat watching her and got myself in such a state!its stupid because i should be so grateful for my children,i mean some of my friends have tried for years for a baby with no luck,and heres me with my mob,and still wanting more!whats wrong with me???you'd think that after 5 kids,id have had enough,but my need for another baby is so overwhelming.im putting it down to the fact that dd was twins but one died,so in my head i feel as if i should have 6 kids.i feel ashamed for wanting more iykwim!like im being baby greedy!god my head is so messed up.sorry for being so negative everyone.i just feel so down and alone.and its all down to no bfp and no af!definately coming back as a man next time,they have it far too easy!going to go and order holiday clothes to cheer myself up!(until i get the credit card statement next month!!!)

Hi Buffy, so sorry about bfn. I know how frustrating it is waiting for af that it seems will never show, but everyone is right- your cycle is probably messed up from mc, but you could also get pg waiting! Keep licking and temping as I'm sure its possible you could ov before af shows up. I know I keep getting small ferns that come and go as my hormones are all over the place but its sort of good to watch them and see whats going on ifyswim! You definately will be able to get pg again its just this ttc lark puts horrible thoughts in your head, I have them myself! Its just the not knowing and waiting thats hard, but it will happen. Enjoy your chocolate and try to keep positive

still no af for me.am worrying myself stupid now and i know that thats probably delaying af.got friend who is midwife and she said its probably because of mc last month.dont feel like im going to start af,just feel normal.not doing anymore tests,as there isnt any point.i cant even bring myself to ring for an appointment with gp as im so scared that she'll say i'll never have anymore babies!(stupid i know but i cant help what im thinking!)dh just tells me not to worry and 'you never know you might already be pg' but i know that im not.i think hes hoping that i'll get pg whilst waiting for af IYKWIM.i just want to hurry up and get af then start licking and temping next cycle.what makes it worse is that everyone around me is pg or just had babies!i feel soooo useless.sorry for being so down but its really getting to me now!im 2 weeks and 3 days late for af.arrrrrggggggghhhh!!!!will go and eat some chocolate!!!

I gave up licking this cycle as was scared I wouldn't get ferns but have decided next cycle am going to take temps and lick, and see what happens. Have just been bd'ing anyway!!

Did a test this am, negative as well but no af or any signs. Anyone else?

hi guys,well,am now 2 weeks late and still no af.have done 4 preg tests,and all negative.havent a clue what is wrong with my body.going to go to gp next week if still no af.anyone else got any good news?

Hello all... hope you are well. Sorry not been around for a while. I was licking and spitting for Britain, but no ferns came . But now AF is a day late. I have only had 3 periods since DD was born so may be a hold up, but do I dare allow myself a little test? I don't feel premenstrual (don't really feel anything odd - don't feel pg) so am just hovering and wondering what to do for the best.

Any ideas?

hi all, i haven't posted much as i had a bit of an odd month with my af last month, but am now on cd 6 , so have started licking & spitting again for this month! just wondered if anyone out there on similar day who wanted a cycle buddy?? Hope you are all well

I have some ferns again this morning but not getting any hopes up as it never seems to lead anywhere, they just disappear before they ever really get going. Also not too much cm, although (sorry, way tmi) I do seem to be "secreting" a lot more all the time these days, which I'm sure must be good sign (unless I have a nasty infection!)

Not leaving it to dry long enough definately makes it hard to see ferns

pretty sure I have wrecked mine or not doing it right.

On clomid so been having follicle monitoring. I am about ready to ovulate apparently but no ferns.

Is there any way I could be doing something wrong...too much saliva, not leaving it long enough

any ideas?

Hi Rubymummy, I also keep getting partial ferns then back to blobs so think it must all be part of cycle settling down again, though still no af for me.

Am keeping my fingers crossed for you Piffle and Buffy, sounds very hopeful. If you're pg yo'll need to lick and tell us what pattern you get on your scope.

How long after stopping bf did it take for your af, Rubymummuy?

buffy see me on the temping while ttc thread, af due yesterday am too scared to test, feeling rough, sore tummy, nauseous but am not testing yet....

when is your af due piffle?i was due friday,but still no sign!i want to go get a test,but am too scared!especially after mc last month.scared i will get bfp and then lose it again.i dont even need chocolate at the mo,and i usually do when af on the way!think if i dont get af by the weekend,miht pluck up the courage to do test.am silently pooing pants and very excited at same time!!!

morning all!still no af,but like you said piffle,think its cos im waiting for it!got bad tum pains today,so prob not pg and af on its way also got swollen tum,so def thing not pg.gawd its great being a woman isnt it!men are far too lucky and have it far too easy!need to stop thinking about af,and get on with things!
by the way,do you all still lick even though you know af is coming and your not obulating anymore?dh said i should carry on licking after ive obulated!dont see why when i know that i have obulated!men were just put on earth to confuse the hell out of me i think!!!!

This is where temping comes in so handy for seeing if you ovulate as you get an abvious thermal shift after ovulation...
used in conjunction with isis it's really reassuring :)

I tried Piffle's tip of using saliva from under my tongue and got WAY more blobby stuff so hoping this will make a difference and I start to see ferns. Also trying it in the afternoon instead of morning. I know I asked before but does anyone know if it's normal to occasionally NOT obulate during your cycle? What I'm getting at is that I'm a worrier and am obsessed with 'what if something's wrong with me?' questions. Obviously I got pregnant before, so I should just be patient and wait for my body to sort itself out after m/c....

It's god awful waiting for af, I'm sure the more we watch the less likely it is to arrive.
My last cycle was 26 days am on cd26 now. I know I ov'd 2 days later this month...
Hideous the 2ww, esp very close to when af is due.
