hi rubymummy!i did a test and it was bfn.went to see gp as had then missed two af's and was getting worried.saw gp last fri and she said it could be an ectopic pg and that i had to take wee sample in on monday just gone.she said that shop tests dont show up a bfp if its an ectopic.anyway,spent all weekend worrying myself stupid.was due to do wee sample monday morning but sunday night,went to the loo and got af!!was shocked!so id gone two whole months with no af and get it when im supposed to be doing a test!bloody typical!been ok since monday,feel alot brighter now that i know theres nothing really wrong with me!doc said if not pg in the next 6 months then she'll do some tests.ive stopped licking.dh wants me to start again,but it was stressing me out,getting blobs and ferns on differnet days and diff times of the day!
sorry you got your af aswell!was hoping someone would be lucky this month!

dh just rang to see how i am.started crying down the phone!!hes getting a test for me in the morning.so i'll post either way,whether its a bfp or bfn.am pooing pants about doing it!

Hmmmm, you sound pg to me!!
Just take it one day at a time Buffy, and deal with a bfn if you get one or a bfp that will bring its own worries for you.
Must go as dd is screaming but best of luck for test! I will now have to find access to a computer at the weekend to see how you got on!

omg,sorry thats really long!

hi everyone.well,nothing new to report.still no af,but now i think ive got a bug!so feel totally crappy!had migraine last night and had to get up during night to take some more painkillers.made myself feel so guilty during the night,thought 'if im pg ive probably done something to it from taking painkillers'!my mind doesnt belong to me anymore!i think something has taken me over and making me think stupid things!!!because its just not like me.feel extremely sick today,and im putting it down to the fact that dd1 had sickness bug and ive caught it.dh reckons its morning sickness.its not,i know its not.can anyone tell me why im feeling so negative?all the symptoms are pointing to me being pg,but i am absolutely petrified of finding out i am!i want another baby so much,but i dont want to test incase a-its negative or b- i mc again.have said will definatly do a test at the weekend,but im shitting myself about doing it.you'd think id be excited,but im so scared.if its bfn again,then i'll be thinking ive got something else wrong with me.just made myself cry whilst typing!see,im far too emotional,its just not like me.got no one here that i can talk to,as no one knows we are ttc,not even my mum.she called me an idiot when i was pg with dd3.didnt even tell her about mc,just avoided her for a couple of weeks.need to get myself together and start thinking positive.also need to get some sleep!am knackered so that might be why im crying!sorry everyone,dont mean to be like this.its jsut that i feel i can talk to you all because were all going through the same thing.have found a way to get dd off bf by the way,i put kamilosan on my nipples the other day because i am so unbelievably sore,dd says 'boobies yak'!pulls a face and gets a bottle!felt guilty though,so wiped it off and gave in to her!going to try to drop a couple of feeds a day as she is wearing me out,so have stocked up on kamilosan and going to try doing it this way.once again,sorry for being all mopey!

I know this is disgusting but I have had so much cm last couple of days, feels so wet I actually keep thinking its my period, yet not even the tiniest fern on my scope. I think maybe it is just another thing thats useful to tell you that you've ovulated when you have regular cycles, etc. Most of us on here seem to be breastfeeding or recovering from mc and still waiting for our hormonrs to settle down. You are right MrsBilly, we should just think positive thoughts and it will happen for us when our bodies are ready for it. Good luck!

In an odd way I'm glad I'm not the only one having all the trouble with the scope and getting (possibly) phantom symptoms every month. At least my afs seem to have settled down since mc and are even 4 or 4 1/2 weeks apart instead of 6 like they were before I was pregnant. As far as the scope goes, I read in a book that a friend gave me (called something like First baby after 30) that they aren't necessarily all that reliable. So for those of us lacking ferns so far, just keep trying to think positive!! I know it can be difficult when what you want most in the world is to be pregnant, and I have had some majorly miserable and negative days - even gone as far as asking my sister if she'd have a baby for me if I couldn't, and there's absolutely no reason to think that way - but we have to think happy thoughts
Buffy, i know loads of people will have said this already and you probably know anyway, but your body is just healing itself after the mc, don't worry if it takes a while.

Thanks Buffy, but I'd better not get preg while away as dh isn't coming!. I will be taking dd to Scotland to visit family as we emigrated to Canada 4 years ago. It will be quite nice to forget about ttc for a while and I will not bring my scope as I know I will ovulate there and not be able to do anything about it! Good luck when you test again.

hi bobblehead.ive stopped getting that crampy feeling.also getting more yukky discharge but its more like ewcm.am just far too scared to test again!daft eh?!i want to be pg so much and know that if its bfn again i'll be really upset,but i also know that if its bfp then i'll just e more scared incase i mc again!not only is my body messed up,i think my head is aswell!keep thinking that im coming on and expect to find arrival of af when i go to the loo,but everytime theres nothing.told dh this morning that i will test this week because af wouldve been due again his friday.(said this yesterday i think!)im not going to look at it,i'll pee and pass it to him!where are you going on holiday?at least you might be able to take your mind off everything for abit!if i dont see you around before you go,have a lovely time,and you never know,you might get pg whilst away!!(hope your going somewhere exotic,then you can call baby after where you concieved!very showbizzy!!)xx

Still licking and the ferns come and go every few days! My body is still obviously totally messed up... Did test this morning as I'm going on holiday this week, with long plane journey and hopefully drinking at the end of it!!!! Was of course bfn and I was of course disappointed though not surprised. Do keep getting all these symptoms, like feeling queasy, spots, cramps like af is coming and lots of discharge so either my hormones are trying to sort themselves out or there is something wrong with me. Maybe you should test again before seeing gp just to be sure...

i tested again week before last,and did 4 tests!all negative.im just trying to blank it out.have decided that if still no af next week then i will def go see gp because then i'll have missed 2 af's.have you had any luck yet?are you still licking?!

Have you tested again lately Buffy? I'd listen to your dh, he sounds like a wise man and he was right last time you were pregnant

hiyah,i still havent been to the doctors!and still noaf.was due on on 7th april.so im 3 weeks and 2 days late!my body is totally messed up!i just cant bring myself to go to the doctors.so scared about what she'll say.dh still keeps saying that he thinks i'll get pg whilst waiting for af!just sent him out for chocolate so that might be a sign of af about to arrive!just want to get af so that i know everythings ok!have given up with my scope!licked the other day and just had blobs.if i ever get af then i'll start licking and temping again after it.dd still boobie obsessed!thats another thing,this past week my nipples have been soooooooooo sore!so bf is very painful and poor dd gets upset because i jump when she latches on!!am seriously wishing i was a man!!!

Do you find you get days of transitional Rubymummy, then nothing the ferns again a few days later? Thats what keeps happening to me and I assume its my body gearing up for ov but never quite getting there. That or my scope is a piece of s$*t! Still no signs of af for me though despite having practically given up bf (dd would be quite happy without, but I am having trouble letting go so keep shoving my nipple in her mouth after she's had her formula)

it says on the isis thing that you can use excm to look at ferns aswell.dont really fancy doig it that way though!

you're so god damn right bobs!! interviewed a woman at work today who had SEVEN children!!! Thats right, count em on both hands, 7!!! Lucky lady indeed, bet she never had to study her saliva did she! A girl on another thread im on said she did some research and apparantly ovulation microscopes not always that certain......am going to do some research of my own. I'll post anything interesting i come up with. x x

Would love to know that too PCM- though in my case just to hope I'm ovulating when I'm probably not! As they say its 98% accurate I assume for 2% of people it may not work? I'd go by your egg sign anyway and just take evry opportunity! How on earth did women a few generations ago end up with so many kids? They must have been having an awful lot of sex

Just wondered if anyone could answer this question...i had the egg sign meaning ovulation on my persona this morning, but spitting /licking like crazy and not one single fern on my isiscope!!!!!!! feel rather fed up with it all, either my persona is wrong or my spit just aint fertile - or im just going round the bend or something. Anyone any words of wisdom??? anyone had a definate ovulation and not had ferny patterns? do the ferns just come at ovulation or can anything else cause them? im so confused.

I think they were a bit stringyer(?) if that makes sense, and not tightly packed at all. How long should full ferning last? and if that was it will it be too late by tonight if I can convince dh
