Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

Is there anything you'd advise to help support your fertility?

DP is trying to stop smoking (I don't).

Life is hopefully going to be less stressful from now on than it has been recently (ha ha! Well I can hope!) we've both been studying, had exams etc, so that should help if it materialises.

We eat fairly healthily, but don't get much exercise these days. DP drinks, not much these days, but fairly regularly. I do, but less often. Should I cut it out?

I remember hearing many years ago from a medicinal herbalist that the herb "Ladies Mantle" supports the health of the womb, and can help with fertility. Can't hurt, can it?

I'm 37. Can't help worrying that maybe we've left it too late Sad

We weren't together or even living in the same country at the time (although we had been friends for years thankfully). So it was a bit of an intense time!

It's all worked out really well now though, we were really very lucky indeed, we're together now and get on really well - and DS is wonderful of course - it could so easily have been otherwise, quite scary to think about really!

I think it is time to give the sticks a go yes, good advice thanks :)

Wishing you lots of luck for this month :)

Aran oh how I would love a happy accident for my 1st! Try clear blue OV sticks to work out your OV time.

Sorry did that make sense?! I meant I've been trying not to obsess about TTC, I hoped it would just happen. (it certainly did the first time, DS was a happy accident! Not so easy this time however.)

Aranrhod · 10/07/2012 17:49

Got AF. I've been trying not to obsess about it. But I think I may have gone too far the other way! I thought I wasn't due on for a week or so.

Been trying for 6 months now, starting to get a bit worried now! Any tips ladies?

I've not been doing anything to help the process along, other than taking mum-to-be vitamins and fish oil suitable for pregnancy (I'm vegetarion). We've been using the .. umm .. just shagging method!

I've decided I should start to get a bit more serious about this now.
DS is 3.5 and the age gap is getting bigger and bigger!

Just marking my place - I haven't yet got AF but she's due on Thursday and the witch is on her way.

TTC #1, cycle 4, BFP due 7 August

Newbie (waving back like a crazy person). Giving up on FTC conceive worked for me last time. Dd is now 17 months and was conceived the month we gave up on ttc.

It is so annoying I know the best thing to do is to relax and just can't do it. Hope August is better in every way, better weather and lots more BFPs.

Newbie2 · 10/07/2012 11:49

whenshewas hello! (waving madly) are you trying that trick where you give in and then get a nice surprise :) I had exactly the same last month (although OV was on time I just wasn't expecting it) and I too will be DTD like mad :)

Hi newbie. I have not started af yet but thought I might as well join.

Think August af is due on 12th.

Last month ovulation turned up earlier than I expected so we only DTD when I got the positive opk. This month I resolve to start DTD much earlier.
