Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

OP posts:
Ahhhtetley · 16/08/2012 09:04

SadSad took a test this morning with a first response stick and got a BFN, AF is due tomorrow or Saturday... I've no pregnancy or period symptoms..

So, so fed up with this!! When do you stop trying?? It's been 2 years for us now and we did say this would be our last time before stopping..

Been in tears most of this morning, had a blazing row with DH (not his fault), when I told him, he responded with 'I don't know what to say' which of course pissed me off, no 'I'm sorry' or anything like that - tbf I'd prob have reacted badly whatever he'd said.

I know I should be grateful for what I've got, we do have a DD who's nearly 5 and some people don't even get that.. I'm just sad as I don't think I'll ever get the chance to do it all again..

Sorry for the 'oh woe is me' Sad Blush I just needed to rant.

winkle2 · 16/08/2012 08:46

Dex there is still time to get your smiley, keep going.

Sunshine - I'm off to a hen do on Saturday so I should test before I go. That will be 15 days after peak on monitor.

We're still dtd though just in case! Managed a quick one in last night! That means we have dtd eod or every 2-3 days since cd9, apart from last week where we only managed Tuesday and Saturday.

Hubby got his SA results back. They said all normal except for morphology which is 1% but they say they don't think that's a problem.

Dexidoo · 16/08/2012 07:58

Another confused one here, I think I may be heading to the Sept thread as I don't think I've ovulated yet. On CD 15 and this is late, only a bit of EWCM and no OPK+ (unless I missed it). We have DTD EOD since CD8 so think DH is hoping for a rest plus my brother and his GF are coming to stay the weekend and so Fri/ Sat shagging is unlikely.

Not sure whether to start temping next cycle or if this will confuse matters further. Ah well off to work, catch up with you all later Smile

SunshineOutdoors · 16/08/2012 07:32

winkle do you know when you're testing this month?

SunshineOutdoors · 16/08/2012 07:26

Ha ha kitty I thought cd4 was a bit early!

Thanks everyone for understanding my post, and it's reassuring to hear of more people with long cycles.

I was on the pill for years then pg and bf. I think my cycles are still getting back to normal after bf. Think the used to be about 35 days, so long but not as long as at the moment.

Temp has dipped a bit today Sad but I was up at 5 with dd so probably should discount temp? Although I would have thought that would make it higher if anything? Hope af isn't coming.

How are you when? I understand if you're feeling crappy and not wanting to post, just to let you know we're thinking of you Thanks

winkle2 · 15/08/2012 21:58

Got to not gotta!

winkle2 · 15/08/2012 21:58

Sorry she got you res :(

Sunshine - I understand how you feel as I gotta cd43 last cycle!

KittyBump · 15/08/2012 20:52

should say EWCM on CD14 not 4:)

Lolcbcb · 15/08/2012 20:47

Hi sunshine I made sense of your post Grin
Basically FF is too confusing! I can't get my head around it. I'm not temping so according to it I've not ovulated. Oh well. Might go back to my simple and less detailed app!

KittyBump · 15/08/2012 20:38

Ah sunshine I got to CD44 last month before AF arrived! I think it definitely makes testing early more understandable! Do you always have such a long cycle (you've probably said this already but I can't read 38 pages!).
I was on the July thread but thought with my mega long cycles I'd next be testing in Sept but I'm completely confused now as I may have had EWCM and ov pains on CD4! which would make test day this Sunday! Though I'm not hugely positive as I didn't dtd much around ovulation as I was away from home :(

SunshineOutdoors · 15/08/2012 20:24

Ahem... A medal to anyone who can actually make head nor tail of my last post Blush

In a nutshell... I'm blatantly going to be testing early again Grin why do I do it to myself when I swore I wouldn't after last month.

Does the fact that I'm now cd40 make it more understandable?

SunshineOutdoors · 15/08/2012 20:21

God I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot but it's impossible... I'm feeling very pregnant, just like every other bloody month.

Can't work out my temp chart really. I either oved on day 25, had a few high temps then a dip again(implantation?) on cd32 so am 15dpo OR the little rise on temp was a red herring and the 'implantation' dip was actually ovulation dip so I oved on cd32 and am now 8dpo.

Fertility friend seems confused too - there was one day (cd32) where I'm not 100% sure on how I'd describe my cm - creamy or watery. I think it was watery and ff makes this 8dpo now.. But if I change it to creamy I'm 15dpo. Maybe I'm just wishful thinking I'm 15dpo so I can start testing?? Internet cheapies arrive tomorrow... I wonder how long I'll be able to sit on my hands for?

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 20:19

Ah, god, didn't notice you saying you were out resipsa :-(

At least it happened before Court...that would have been less than helpful. Maybe my Court appearance on Friday will bring my AF on! I detest going to Court, so that would top it off nicely.

SunshineOutdoors · 15/08/2012 20:11

And hope you get some answers soon NicolaHazel

SunshineOutdoors · 15/08/2012 20:11

Sorry you're out resipsa

SunshineOutdoors · 15/08/2012 20:10

Thinking of you when please come and talk on here whenever you want, even if you're feeling negative.

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 20:06

Hi resipsa :-)

I'm OK this evening, so far...everything has calmed down, even my boobs, a bit! Another BFN this evening. I really should wait until the CB digi arrives, but doubt I will.

How are you today?

resipsa · 15/08/2012 19:53

Congrats Jessie. Am well jel as the kids say. I'm out for Aug as from today (and so grateful it arrived just as I was about to do a court hearing!). Hoped it would be our month so could get in the 12 week scan before the due date of the preg we lost in March. Hey ho - pick yourself up, dust off, carry on.

How're you when and Nic?

hollyscots · 15/08/2012 19:21

Well done Jessie and so sorry when. It appears I've messed up my dates and had imaginary ewcm on sat as it has arrived in full force today! Off for a quick bath and then going to drag dh to bed! Bfp due in 14 days...

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 17:51

I'll have to research that more...see if it can come and go like mine does.

NicolaHazel · 15/08/2012 17:48

I'm not sure about vertigo...I'll look it up though. I felt better after lunch. I'm exhausted now though. Bone tired. I've struggled at work since about 3.30pm.

I had a hot flush and felt all weird and out of it briefly too.

I. Hate. Hormones!

woody17 · 15/08/2012 16:31

when I hope you are ok. I hope that the line does get stronger and that the cramping is just everything stretching?

Ahhhtetley fx for you

Lorelei353 · 15/08/2012 16:18

Nic It sounds like you've got vertigo. I've had it once or twice and my mum gets it regularly. There are loads of potential reasons for it but I did read that it can be an early pregnancy sign too. It's really disconcerting - I had to walk down my hall holding the wall as I felt I was going to fall over!

This might cheer you up though

berri · 15/08/2012 14:10

Many congratulations Jessie that's really wonderful news Thanks

Fingers crossed for you NicolaHazel and everyone else symptom spotting.

berri · 15/08/2012 14:08

When I'm so sorry you're in pain - I'm sure some paracetamol won't hurt if you have any? I hope you have someone there in rl to have a proper talk to?
