Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

OP posts:
KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 16:30

What about NHS Direct?

kittykatsforever · 31/07/2012 16:23

I think that's all I can do, I've contacted the epu for advice but they've not rung me back, if no MSG later ill book an appointment at the go tomorrow

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 16:10

Hahahaha - the ironic thing is it's actually not the hospital. It's my doctors. I went to the practice twice before I collapsed and they ignored me twice.

Anyway - fuck em. I am still TTC and am happy with my progress. Not my fault the doctors are complete morons.

Kitty - I don't know what to tell you about the blood? Maybe you just keep taking tests and seeing what happens to the lines?

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 31/07/2012 16:07

kitty I just don't know what to think about the brown blood, would say that is old blood but don't want to get your hopes up for it all to go wrong. I really think you need to go to the GP. Fingers still very much crossed for you.

kick really sorry but your rant made me laugh. You have every right to be furious with them and question their ability to manage your condition. Re the opks I test 3/4 times a day which is way too much. I still test first thing in the morning, I don't know why when I never get a positive opk in the morning.

kittykatsforever · 31/07/2012 16:02

I think you've done miraculous things in such a short space of time, that is typical of hospitals though, they never read or go through history, there is a story on another thread called mc my f* ing arse or something where a girl was told she had mc because they couldn't see it even though she had told them she had pcos and thought shed ovd late, a week later the bean was there!

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 15:57

Naw don't be sorry. We all have heartache. No one has anything worse.

My hba1c have dropped nicely and am pleased with it. I am just massively hurt that they can't even be bothered to get my files and look back before they open their mouths about "abnormal" readings. I am very hurt and angry by that.

kittykatsforever · 31/07/2012 15:56

Sorry kick, your posts crossed with mine, I feel stupid commenting when others have far worse problems

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 15:55

Ok am really done now.

Sorry

kittykatsforever · 31/07/2012 15:54

Whenshewas lol at the like going to the gym analogy, that's exactly how I'd describe it too, we've been together 11 years and have been through lulls, you do almost have to " make yourself " at times but always feel good after
Glad you've got a + i think it always makes you feel abit more confident you've atleast had a chance at the right time
I'm still in limbo land, still feel abit sick and headachey not had full af yet it's thicker , smaller and a very dark brown, not red though?! I hate this I keep having to fight with myself is it bad is it not....

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 15:54

Sorry for the rant

I can't believe how they can't look back on my files and see the MANY times I have come to see them and how they let me down every single time. They have NO right now to come in and try and offer ANY advice - not when I struggled to get to an A&E vomiting and being violently ill and nearly in a coma and am now being cared for a hospital an HOUR away from my house because I trust them more than I trust the doctor 10 mins down the road.

Also, the amount of effort I've put in to GET my hba1c down to this level (9.1%) is fucking HUGE. How DARE they tell me it's "abnormal"??? Its dropped down from 15.5% FFS. It's a NORMAL course of events for someone 7 weeks later.

So angry with them.

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 15:46

When last did you test whenshewas??

I test once a day - I know it's not enough.

Grrrrr just had the doctors ring about my "higher than average" hba1c saying that they need to "review" my meds. I screamed at them that the fucking REASON I was admitted to hospital was them and their fucking malpractice for 6 weeks ignoring me BEGGING them to do tests and find out what was wrong. Of course my hba1c is "higher than average" you stupid STUPID morons. You nearly killed me!!! I am SO angry - how DARE they even THINK about commenting on my health? They are the REASON there was anything wrong. They could have prevented all the heart ache!!

Anyway, still TTC. Just fucked off with their reaction. Stupid STUPID bitch.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 31/07/2012 15:03

Ha ha I'm back in the game. Just got a positive opk (internet cheapy) and have ewcm.

resipsa we are so long lost twins. Just got a positive opk which means I should ov tomorrow on cd18. Also dh has been complaining about being tired since Sunday, I have to convince him to shag me though. We last dtd on Sat so a lot of his swimmers will have given up by now.

If he doesn't man up he is going to be on the end of a massive rant.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 31/07/2012 14:52

Hi Moog

I am not the same age as you (33) but I have the same concerns, will this ever happen etc. If you already have two you have a good chance, it might happen straight away or it might take a little while. Best of luck

jessiethecowgirl · 31/07/2012 13:55

welcome Moog!

Auf test again in the morning with FMU then let us know!!

If I ov'd when I think I did, then I'm 5 dpo. Anyone else in the 2ww wanna share their crazy 'symptom spottings'? I woke up this morning feeling knackered! Even after a solid 8 hours! Hmmm.... :)

p.s I know that symptoms in the 2ww don't exist but its nice to play along isn't it?

miarosemum · 31/07/2012 13:45

My one didn't appear immediately, bfn at first then after 2 mins saw a faint line, pink in colour, tried 36 hours later and a stronger line, try first thing auf

Moog72 · 31/07/2012 13:44

Hi ladies,

Can I join?

I am on cycle 6 TTC nunber 3. Am 39 now though so think it's not going to be easy - too old. BFP due 19th August.

Anyone else in my age range here with similar concerns?

auf - if the line appeared within the timesales I would say you are pg.. test in the monring!

Moog

Dexidoo · 31/07/2012 13:41

Congratulations to the newly BFP'd. Good luck for your retest aufaniae.

I am in limbo land. AF is due in 3 days, BFN 2 days ago and low tummy aches for about 3 days. This morning I have had discharge very lightly stained brown. I usually come on quickly & heavy so this is odd.

Trying not to get my hopes up but I did have spotting the week prior to BFP last time. But I'm now 10-12dpo so this seems very late for possible implantation.

There is no point to my post as all I can do is wait for either AF to arrive or for Saturday to retest in the hope there could be HCG in my system by then. Grrrr

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 31/07/2012 13:38

Try again tomorrow. See if it gets any stronger.

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 13:27

Likewise if the line was there but disappeared, wait a few days and test again

threeleftfeet · 31/07/2012 13:27

Could it be an evaporation line? I suppose it could well be.
Silly me getting my hopes up!

Will test again another time and see what happens.

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 13:26

Actually if it was initially a positive, it should stay for up to 48 hours

A test that is negative and turnaround positive after 10 mins is an error

a line is clear without any squinting o staring or holding up to the light. It also has a very definite colour

threeleftfeet · 31/07/2012 13:22

I saw it at about 2 or 3 minutes i think. I was just standing there looking at it thinking - well that's a definite negative - so silly to get my hopes up (I was on the phone actually! It rang just as I started looking at it!).

But then I thought "hold on a minute, what's that ..." and ended the call!

That was about 15 minutes ago. It's too late to get a reliable result now, isn't it?
I keep looking at it!

KickTheGuru · 31/07/2012 13:20

I posted something about faint lines

Google "evaporation line" and see if its the same.

Not saying its not positive but if its very faint or ghost like or a shadow then wait a couple daays and test again

just to get hcg increase

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 31/07/2012 13:17

resipsa thanks for making me feel normal again. I think the poor bloke knows I don't want to have sex with him because I passionately want him, I am Just after his sperm.
All that said he is a good shag and we always have fun in bed. It is a bit like going to the gym, you really can't be arsed going but once you get there you enjoy it.

aufanie that's really exciting. How long did you wait to let it develop. I find when you first look it looks bfn but after 3 minutes you can see it more clearly.

threeleftfeet · 31/07/2012 13:08

Um, I think I might have a faint line!

(So easy to be definite about faint lines when it's someone else isn't it?!)

But before you all get excited, it's so faint though I really might be imagining it! Although I keep looking at it and it's still there. But it's so faint you can really hardly see it. I wonder if I can see where the line is meant to be, rather than the line itself IYSWIM. I've not done a lot of stick studying (DS was a very definite line! No ambiguity there)

If you look really closely at a stick, can you see a faint mark where the line should be?

Will try again tomorrow morning.
