PerpetualProvocateur - most women get a faint line on the OV sticks as the LH hormone is always present in our bodies. It is when the lines are as dark as each other that you are OVing. HTH.

I'm using the CBFM and got another peak today so will be DTD tonight. Currently on CD15.

Aw mama that's rotten. I'm not holding out much hope for this month if i'm honest. So I'll probably be seeing you in september.

Hi perpetual my dd is 18 months. I stopped bf at 13 months and only got my period back 6 weeks later. It could take a while to get your cycle back to normal after bf.

Hi ladies, mind if I join? This is my first proper cycle TTC #2 as I just finally got my period back 13 months after having DS (we're still breastfeeding).

I have no idea what is going on with my cycle, or if/when I'll ovulate, but we're going for it! I've been using OPKs but always get a maddening faint line any time I test - maybe it's true that breastfeeding hormones affect them, maybe I haven't ovulated, or maybe it's because they're the cheapies off Amazon!

It's now CD14. Assuming a 28-day cycle, I would be due to test on 20th August. We will be away on holiday though, and since I don't really know what's going on with my cycle I will try not to test until we're back on the 25th if AF hasn't shown by then.

Had my smiley face on ovulation kit on thurs. We have been DTD every day. Am trying spot symptoms. i feel a bit of a pain in my abdomen, and keep squeezing my boobs to check for tenderness (that was the first sign last time, but MC at 12 weeks). I am going to be like a crazy woman until the day i can take the test. Hopefully a BFP on 18th of August.

TTC 2nd cycle, BFP due 17th August

Have never really watched my cycle - and this would be my 5th DC (1 boy and 3 girls so far). Excitedly if i were to conceive on this cycle - I would be due on my 40th Birthday - not that one of them have ever arrived on their due date!

Looking forward to hopefully seeing some of usual signs I see - and hoping my extreme tiredness is not due to 4 kids at home, but the next bean.

Tested completely pointlessly - why why why!??! BFN of course given that I'm only on CD26 of a (usually) 31 days cycle so only around 5 or 6 dpo.

In my defence - I have felt really awful today so convinced myself it was worth a go. I've been nauseous and exhausted. Feel asleep on the sofa for 2 hours which is unheard of. But I guess I can just put this down to having a cold, usual PMT symptoms, having a long commute, working full-time in a stressful job and a having a very boisterous 15month old DS.

Determined to step away from the sticks until the end of next week....

peacock bad luck. Somehow our dh's have more objective judgement when it comes to lines / ridges on tests.

Am so embarrassed my dd (18 months) was asked what she wanted to drink - meaning do you want milk or water. She said wine . Must rethink drinking habits.

Stupidly cracked and tested this morning way too early i know!! but realised i had got a different type of test from the pound shop and thought i had a line, cue me waking up DH to show him until he pointed out my "first line" was infact a ridge in the test anyway i have also got all this early testing out of my system and am going to wait until Wednesday!!

Managed a quickie before on the road to Millenium Stadium!

My CBFM peaked today on CD14. Last cycle it peaked on CD13. This is early for me as I usually get my smiley on cd16-18. Oh well will dtd anyway!

Am booked in for fertility tests on 14th Aug too after my crazy long cycle last month. Let's see what's going on in there hey!

definitely too early. best one week after Af is due. but impossible to wait that long. i am holding out til tuesday too. think time is going backwards.

Hi weechops I don't rate the own brand tests much myself. Now you have tested I would wait till Monday or Tuesday if you can. Best of luck.

You're still in until AF comes, weechops...let's hope she doesn't. :-)

Definitely too early weechops! Try to wait at least til Monday now. Never used Asda, do they have a pink or blue line? I've found the blue ones not very reliable. fx for you!

Still symptom spotting here at 8dpo! tingly boobs this morning, but I may just be imagining it too :)

I'm 11dpo and af is due on Tuesday so someone
tell me it was just too early to test!
I used ASDA own brand- not tried them before
so I'm hoping they're just not very good :)

Hi mama I find the thread really helpful too. I think my dh is grateful as well because I tend to offload all my crazy ttc thoughts on this thread and it makes me less mental at home.
