Hoorrrrraaayyyyyyyy! Go Fairy, go Fairy, Go Fairy, Go Fairy!GrinGrinGrin

Congratulations and good luck in equally large amounts!

Pass us a diamond white, dd is in bed for the night, and I have finished week one run three today. Did run 2 on Saturday and ds came with me on his bike - it was great having a little training partner :) Not sure how week 2 will go as it is due to chuck it down on thursday

HalleLouja · 08/10/2012 21:56

Cracks open the diamond whites as it is a special occasion.

HalleLouja · 08/10/2012 21:54

Whoop!!!!!

Laughs at FG correcting her own grammar in times off joy. Though I have probably used the wrong version of grammar.

Icedlemonmuffin · 08/10/2012 21:40

Fairy that is such good news. Fingers crossed for a 2013 bundle.

So where will this nice warm park be located? Will it be warm enough to take my tights off and bare my cornbeef legs!

Really envious of all this running and losing weight. I can't run as I tore a tendon ligament thing in my foot a few years ago (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it)

That is a good plan we can all relocate to the costa del sol. Or the Canaries as it would be warmer.

UmBongo · 05/10/2012 19:53

Oooh, sunshine, can I come too?

HalleLouja · 04/10/2012 19:26

[Joins FG on her holidays].

Loving holiday for the sake of your health. That's what I tell DH...

Fairygodmother1 · 04/10/2012 19:01

Forgot to say - saw GP about it, was sent for blood tests - results say hormones normal but Vit D & Calcium deficient so now have to book lots of holidays with sun 'for my health'!

Well done Fivealive. I tried the first time after dd was born when she was 7 months. It was boxing day. I stopped soon after as it was too cold and I got too ill.

UmBongo · 04/10/2012 13:15

In other news - Week one, run one, tick!

God only knows when the next one will be but the weather is lovely and sunny (well it was, sun just gone in ready to rain at 3pm) and dd was asleep!

UmBongo · 03/10/2012 22:18

Hooray Fairy, that is brilliant! Well done you GrinGrinGrin

I have been through ds's old clothes and dug out all the babygros, vests and a few pairs of trousers too. I remember trawling ebay for all his sleeping bags too Grin I bought the mothercare ones cos the zip ends at the bottom so in the summer (?) you can leave the end open, and also get to the nappy without stripping the poor shivering mite completely - more to the point at the moment!

HalleLouja · 03/10/2012 21:34

Whoop to losing 1 stone.

Fairygodmother1 · 03/10/2012 21:25

hey ya,
Glad the running is going well Lou.

1 stone lighter for me!!!! Grin

Week 6 was fine. Week 7 day 1 on the other hand wasn't fine (even though it was the same run as week 6 day 3). I feel like I am toning up. My legs seem slimmer and I am definitely fitter. I can run for 25 minutes now.

Not sure there is that much of a difference when the eat. In fact DS started sleeping worse on solids..... That is just my experience though. DD started sleeping through at 9 months and on the whole has been excellent since. So it was worth the wait.

DD wears DS's clothes sometimes. Also has boy sleeping bags I bought from the charity shop.

UmBongo · 29/09/2012 22:14

How did week 6 go Lou? I am thinking about starting, but dd isn't napping regularly yet.

Come to that, she has forgotten how to sleep through the night, at 5 months, I think I will try and struggle to 5.5 months and then give up and put food in, then we can all go back to sleep.

I have finally got her cot build and found the cot bedding too, so she has been in that for the last couple of nights so she can stretch out without hitting the end of her basket. She does look very cute tucked up, with a pink babygro and ds's old blue sleeping bag with boats and cars on! Smile

HalleLouja · 23/09/2012 08:40

I got that far too before DD was conceived. Its taken me all this time to start again and keep going. Am a bit sore but it was ok. Just kept going even though it was really hard work. I have to do shorter run again today. If I can get my arse in gear.

DS is ending up in our beds most nights this week but he is all disturbed starting school first time. He loves it but its a big change.

UmBongo · 22/09/2012 22:00

Wow, how did the run go? That was as far as I got before dd happened! I am looking forward to starting again and knowing that you are out trotting is making me want to work out how I am going to get going as dd went down tonight at 9.15 and it is PITCH BLOODY BLACK out there now. And all I want is a beer cos I will not be feeding til the morning. Not to get up and go running. Sorry mini muffin is full of cold, it is never jolly, I hope you all recover soon.xx

Icedlemonmuffin · 21/09/2012 09:57

Good luck Lou!

Fairy I think I need more help than I thought, I meant 'number line' not 'time line'. My poor children, there is no hope for them with me as their mother is there?!

Mini muffin is full of a cold and not sleeping well so I'm very very tired.

HalleLouja · 20/09/2012 22:19

Got my week 5 day 3 run and 20 minutes of running to do tomorrow all in a row. Wish me luck!

HalleLouja · 20/09/2012 22:19

Hello gorgeouses - how are you doing?
