Ok so best guess is OV sometime in the past 3 days. Should really wait until 21st to test going by previous cycle length.

I'm not a good 2 week waiter. Am impatient and mental and a particularly avid symptom spotter. Please come and keep me company in this fortnight of doom...........

From what I gathered the trials seem to be based more around early pregnancy as aposed to getting pg, maybe they are trying to develop new things based around healthy development of mc as they would like the samples to continue if you get pg then also if you mc! If you dont get pg they also give you another 3 month worth of supplies too so all good Grin

kittykatsforever · 10/07/2012 10:43

Caught us out Blush
I think you get the sticks but it's the 20 pack if it is so that's £30 saving plus test she said so another £12, not sure if it's the monitor I should have asked but I'll get it tomorrow or day after I recon so I'll post what is it

resipsa · 10/07/2012 10:29

Aha! So this is where you lot hang out when you're not on the other thread! About the CB trial, I've just sent back my form. Do you get a FM or is it just the sticks? Whichever, I'll save at least £15 this month!

kittykatsforever · 10/07/2012 10:25

That was goodies not giddiest!?! Although I am giddy now lol think if I don't her bfp this month it's like something to look forward to, Poas without wasting my money Grin think we will be all doing it together!! Lisa that's quick ov if wasn't due to sat, have you been using the epo this month?

NicolaHazel · 10/07/2012 09:56

DulcetMoans · 10/07/2012 09:01

So I think I might officially be in 2ww now. Don't know for sure so will try one more DTD tonight but we are getting tired! haha.

Must be in the 2ww though as today I have started my symptom spotting. Slightest pain or twinge = this could be it!

kittykatsforever · 09/07/2012 19:52

Welcome sneeze! I hate the 2ww aswell, never used to think about it but now it's like counting down the days till Xmas when your a kid, especially as im not sure if I'm in it yet or not! If I am it's dpo5 though if not I should really dtd again tonight, I feel like we've had loads but when I checked in diary it's just 4 times lol Blush

sneezecake · 09/07/2012 18:57

Hi can I join I'll be testing around the 23rd, technically not ovulated yet Blush think I should on Wednesday.
TTC#2
I hate the TWW !

iloveberries · 08/07/2012 19:34

haha camel...

I truly believe now that it is down to luck whether the egg and sperm meet and stick in the right place. Just do what you can and enjoy life in the meantime. Easier said than done i know but a year into TTC#2 and i am managing to do this (albeit in fits and starts!)

CamelKnees · 08/07/2012 17:34

Hi berries

Well said re what will be will be.

It is tough though isn't it to not feel like its us against our bodies....? I'm sure there must be some sort of counter productive negative mental attitude in all that. There's probably some woo earth mother out there somewhere who teaches women to become one with their wombs or suchlike. Maybe I'll start trying to cajole my reproductive organs in the same way I do with my very stubborn 2 year old....

Oh, I know, berries...I'm just being dramatic. And hormonal!

iloveberries · 08/07/2012 16:28

was just having a lurk as my AF is due 19th July.

sorry to barge in but nicolahazel can i just tell you off for a minute??! If you don't get pg this month you haven't failed - please don't feel like that. It took me a long 12 months before i realised that whether you got pg wasn't about succeeding or failing... A lot of it is infact luck. DTD on a tues is enogh to get pg and what will be will be. PLEASE don't feel you've failed if it doesn't happen this month though. Good Luck!

NicolaHazel · 08/07/2012 13:52

I'd feel happier if I'd DTD on Weds, not Tues, as I OV'd Thurs / Fri. And if it was Fri, although sperm lives, I've not given myself the best chance. Especially as I then didn't DTD again til Sat.

Will be my own fault if I fail!

DulcetMoans · 08/07/2012 13:43

Testing 19th with nicola but again, not feeling so confident now as not DTD since thurs after starting so strongly. Think we peaked too soon although not convinced I ov'd yet so who knows?? It's all a guessing game!

NicolaHazel · 08/07/2012 13:17

I've been feeling odd in one way or another since CD14, Camel, but trying not to read too much into it.

Can definitely feel my uterus right now, if that makes sense?!

According to one of those terribly addictive baby calculator things, I wouldn't even implant until 13th, so I'm clearly making it up in my head. Or just thinking it's something it's not. Easy done though.

CamelKnees · 08/07/2012 12:56

You know that whole thing about not testing until AF is due? Fear I've failed already by marking on the calendar in the kitchen when 12DPO is. It's a sickness!

Ps - have got weird mildish PMT type cramps today. Seems far too soon to be AF. Hoping it's a good sign...

Hi panda! I really should wait until AF due but never seem to make it. I blame the eBay cheapies in the bathroom cupboard. If i only had more expensive tests in the house I don't think I'd POAS so incessantly (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

I've had to work from home a couple of times to make dtd at the right time possible. Like to think of it less as mental control freakery behaviour and more as good sense Grin

Ooh maybe if we're unlucky this time we can have a CBFM sponsored thread next month. I'm borrowing a friend's if no luck this time...

NicolaHazel · 07/07/2012 16:31

I think they'll just send the initial batch and wait for your first wee samples to arrive! Maybe.

kittykatsforever · 07/07/2012 16:22

Lisa, I had to do the same and came back early thur to dtd before we picked up dd from nursery! Shifts take away all spontinuity don't they!!
Wish I knew if I'd ovd, I'll just have to keep going I guess and Poas a few more times just incase!
I too am doing the cb trial, sent letter this morning but it doesn't ask when your due af etc so not sure what the next step is, do they contact us again do you think?

NicolaHazel · 07/07/2012 16:13

I am, Lisa, missed the post today, so will post my form on Monday now.

I'm hoping it is a good sign. And if it isn't, at least I'll have free CB tests next month :-)
