Ok so best guess is OV sometime in the past 3 days. Should really wait until 21st to test going by previous cycle length.

I'm not a good 2 week waiter. Am impatient and mental and a particularly avid symptom spotter. Please come and keep me company in this fortnight of doom...........

I can understand that. Last month I was POAS every other day pretty much. This month I have learnt a lot more about just how long it takes so much less POAS. Waiting until Thursday now, I am sure that wouldn't have happened last month!

emeraldgirl1 · 16/07/2012 11:25

Dulcet I think it was my previous addiction that has made me phobic :)

DulcetMoans · 16/07/2012 11:19

Phobic of testing?! We are addicts around here! haha. Obviously much harder if you think it will be BFP and its not though.

emeraldgirl1 · 16/07/2012 10:52

Dulcet - yes I guess I would test tomorrow - I am occasionally a 30 day cycle instead of a 29 (is day 29 today) so it's still not massively late if it hasn't come by then... I just dread testing so much that I am aiming to hold off as long as I can. I think I've got myself almost phobic about testing!!!

iloveberries - really??? really?? do you think it sounds promising??? I love to hear that!!! Wink Oh, if only a nice internet person could just tell me I'm pg instead of having to go through all this hideous waiting/testing malarkey :)

DulcetMoans · 16/07/2012 10:41

Does that meean you will test tomorrow if AF doesn't show then emerald? You will offcially be late then!

Aw, a fridge lisa, that is so thoughtful! I need to clear a space for mine to go in there. Maybe we should start a CB Trial thread, in case we have questions etc. I already have a question of when we start the collecting. Is it CD1?

iloveberries · 16/07/2012 10:39

weeyun - congrats! and ESPECIALLY LUCKY you being so new to TTC and getting pregnant so quickly. It's understandable to be worried, but just chill!!

emerald - sounds promising! I totally know what you mean about AF and preggo symptoms being the same - it's frigging annoying isn't it!

My AF due on Weds. This will be cycle 2 since my ectopic and cycle 12 in total. I can't help hoping that it might be my turn!!

emeraldgirl1 · 16/07/2012 10:31

Just started an "I'm freaking out' thread of my own before seeing this one here. Hello, fellow freakers out - can I join??
To repeat myself, I'm freaking out!!! AF due today and am terrified every time I go to the loo in case I see evil evidence. I got myself in a right state last time by testing early so am holding off on that - would rather just see arrival of AF than wait for that dreaded unwanted result to appear in pg test window IYKWIM.
Worst thing is that have had a gazillion symptoms this month but could of course just be bloody PMS. Breasts are the size of melons (and am usually more like golfball sized Blush ), also they are very sore and kind of hard, weird cramping only a few days post ov which I don't usually have, upset stomach for last 2 days, more spots than usual. Obviously this is almost certainly all just hilarious PMS and/or I've imagined most of the symptoms and so brought them on myself. Am impressively psycho-somatic at the best of times, seriously I can actually bring on a headache just by thinking I have one...
Am working from home today so am obsessing more than ever and really am just getting myself in a state again.
I hate this :(

Weeyun · 16/07/2012 09:40

Thank you! Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a whinger, I'm just new to actively ttc & worried about the spotting & because won't know if it's a real bfp till I've at least missed AF. Only have digital tests so no line. I read somewhere that 50% of pregnancies end in chemical pregnancy? Didn't know that before I tested early.

Anyway, that's so sweet & thoughtful of your dh!

Hi, can I join you all please? I've been reading for a bit but nervous to actually post. I've had a funny cycle with 5 days of spotting from 6 dpo and didn't know what to think. Then I did a stupid thing and poas on dpo 10 (on friday), which is probably at least 5 days too early, but I got a bfp and was a bit shocked! Now I'm absolutely terrified of having a chemical pregnancy. AF would be due probably on wednesday at the earliest (i don't have regular cycles so not sure about that) so I'm just hoping that if I can make it to wednesday I can start to relax a bit more. Never thought I'd be this terrified. Didn't get a bfp with my first pregnancy until way after AF was due & didn't have any spotting either. 5 days is a lot of spotting for implantation isn't it? Have been too scared to test again since the bfp.

washngo · 15/07/2012 19:02

Well, cycle not that regular, could be anytime between thursday and the following Thursday, so am hoping it won't have appeared by next weekend then I'll test again.

NicolaHazel · 15/07/2012 09:06

I'm trying to hold out until actually late too...due on Thursday.

kittykatsforever · 14/07/2012 19:47

Well evening north ladies, I'm cheshire so not far from all of you!
Camel what cycle is this for you? I don't we can worry, there's no rhyme or reason to how sometimes it's first time sometimes 6, it will just happen when you dtd at the right time and there is an egg waiting! Its frustrating as its one of the few things in life you just can plan or have any control over, it's just gaurenteed to send us nuts, I was the same as you and tested bfn ofcourse!!! We are silly when you look at the title of thread and when we are surposed to be testing Blush

CamelKnees · 14/07/2012 19:34

Well kids I caved this morning and POAS. Best guess is currently 9-10 days Post OV. Clearly it was BFN. God knws what I was thinking. Does make it easier to now wait until Monday for next POAS session though.

Hello to other NW based ladies. I'm in Manchester.

Have been thinking today about why I dread this not being our month and I think it's more than not beng PG now. Is this overriding fear that I'm not PG this month (despite good timing) because there's something wrong and it's either going to take an age or just not happen. Seems quite irrational given we were very lucky with DD but it's just there lurking at the back of my mind....

Sneeze I'd go, you can't put your life on hold for a just incase, egg wouldn't even have implanted yet, I think someone said they don't use your blood stream till 4 wks! X

sneezecake · 14/07/2012 13:09
