decafgirl · 10/03/2006 12:36

Hello! I've been around for a while on and off but I'll add my info again
me 24
dh 27
ttc number one

AF is running late at the mo - I'm on day 51 today so although I had a bfn on wed there's still a glimmer of hope. My cycle was about 42 days before the pill so I'm not getting too excited/stressed just yet as I only came off it in October.

Good luck to everyone, maybe this will be our month!

laughalot · 10/03/2006 11:48

Hi thought I might join his thread im on the march chat one at the minute. Most of you probably know me from there if not heres a run down on me.

Me 27
Dh 29
Ds 19 months
Ttc started this month

beartime · 10/03/2006 10:30

I just thought of something - how would i know I might be pregnant if I haven't started my periods again cos of bfing? Cos usually your periods stopping is the sign isn't it?

peachygirl · 09/03/2006 21:11

Thank you very much pussycatmomma, am feeling a lot better, but as you say am just taking it one day at a time and not allowing myself to dream about what may be in 8 months.

pussycatmomma · 09/03/2006 19:28

hi - just wondered if you are around yet trace? xx

pussycatmomma · 09/03/2006 15:57

hi all.
congratulations Stacey on your bfp.
Wannabe how are you feeling? Thanks for your words of wisdom, im gonna have to start calling you Clair Rayner or something (do you remember her??Wink!)You have once again managed to give a really thoughtful insight into a different perspective - just what i need! You know heres me thinking that dh is being insensitive, if i look a little deeper and wasnt so frustrated and wanting to get my own way, i would see that maybe he feels such pressure to give me what we both want, that he feels somewhat responsible, and that he is scared of us not being able to have a family. something in there also about if we havent done it on all the right days and i dont get prg he can say "well thats why" and it never becomes an issue. He thinks i am trying way too hard. i dont know, i feel confused and fed up. Had an awful day today. Asked dh this morning if he was really committed to the whole idea of us having a baby, he said of course he is, we wouldnt be having sex without contraception if he didnt want us to!, and that of course he wanted children etc etc etc. Think i just needed to hear it.
Hi Trace, if you arent around now i might catch you tonight hun.
Mower.........Wow, am so pleased for youSmile Just keep taking it one day at a time, you are doing fantastically. Hearing about other peoples struggles certainly puts things in perspective, im sure we all agree. Im keeping everything crossed for you and have been saying a little "mower" prayer along with some of my own. Hope this is all helping! You are doing brilliantly, keep letting us know how you are getting on, we are all rooting for youSmile

trace2 · 09/03/2006 13:51

congrats stacey, i have seen you on fall for fall thread

beartime · 09/03/2006 13:40

Mower - so glad for you!

I noticed you seemed mad Grin, but means I'll be more at home!

wannaBe1974 · 09/03/2006 13:09

Hiya all, haven't read through all the posts but have had a brief look through. Mower so glad that all is well with you, now just start looking forward to that morning sickness. Will you have to have another scan soon?

Stacy congrats. First BFP of March - let's hope there are many more to follow.

Pussycat sorry I missed you last night, DH got home at about 9:30 in the end and had to cook for him, I know what you mean about men seeming to not want it as much as we do, I think though that men don't have the same kind of physical need to have a baby as we do, maybe it's a hormonal thing, but when we want a baby, we want all that that involves, the being pregnant, the feeling the baby move, the giving birth (well with the aid of whatever pain medication you prefer :O), but for the men even when the woman is pregnant it's hard. I remember my DH said he felt so helpless when I was tired, when I was feeling sick, when I couldn't eat anything but ginger biscuits and chinese takeaway (yes, there is some merrit in that as chinese food contains a lot of ginger), and I think that when I gave birth was the hardest for him because he just felt so helpless. I was going through agony, DS' heartbeat kept dropping, and all he could do was be there. So I think that often men just don't get it in the way that we do, and I think that they generally don't mean to come across as insensitive.

Well am on day 22 now - still slightly tingly boobs but nothing to write home about, only time will tell I guess.

staceym11 · 09/03/2006 11:50
