Ha ha! I'll suggest that tonight!Smile I'm not too worried to be honest at the moment - I'm just glad I'm ovulating at all!

beartime · 13/03/2006 13:24

Decafgirl - you know you only have 24hrs in which to conceive don't you once you've ovulated so sounds like you'd better bd as quick as poss TODAY if you want it to be this cycle. Not that I know anything about ov tests - but I'm assuming a positive means you've ovulated which means it disintegrates 24hrs afterwards. Can't you do the spoons position or something Wink

decafgirl · 13/03/2006 12:18

Hello! I took another ov test last night (coz I didn't really believe the first one!) and that was pos too. No such luck on the bding front tho as dh won't come any where near me at the mo as I've got a raging chest infection.

However, I've since been wondering whether an opk can read the pg hormone too? I didn't bother buying another pg test because of the +tive ov but what if...?

I am driving myself demented! Grin

Trace I'm really sorry to hear this. I hope what hes saying isnt true and everything is ok.

Your in my thoughts and if you need to talk you know where I (and many others) are.

trace2 · 13/03/2006 11:24

thanks for caring wanbe, just come back from gp, he asked if i would do a test, but said to buy one as its quicker, then go back to him, well i did its neg, (so glad realy,). the bleeding stopped, still got low back ache, hes checked me over done some more tests, swabs and things, he says it could be that my tubes are blooked or an infection in them, hes gona try and hurry my appiontment up with gyny, if i get anymore pain go straigt to a&e because it could be an eptopic, even though the test was neg, he wanted me to go now but i feel much better.he thinks its not looking good for ttc, again wanbe thank you,i think i must now think about stopping for good, as with all this on top of all tcc strss, its getting to me and dh, i just have to be thankfull i have my other children,

wannaBe1974 · 13/03/2006 11:03

hiya all hope you're all ok. Natallie how's the sickness today?

Am on CD 26 and have none of the simptoms I usually get when AF is approaching. Every month I get sore boobs, and every month I convince myself I'm pregnant only to come on a couple days later. This month I have no sore boobs, so am wondering if, as sore boobs seem to be one of my general simptoms before the arrival of AF, whether I should be reading something positive into this? Still have some nausia, but DH was saying yesterday that he felt sick so could just as easily be a bug. Anyway have decided am not going to test until Saturday if AF doesn't arrive before then. Course whether I can actually hold off testing is another matter altogether.

NatalieJane · 13/03/2006 09:30

Hiya Spinach :)

Well, last cycle was 25 days long, and tomorrow will be CD25, so I don't know if that means AF due tomorrow or Wednesday, but I will test Wednesday if no AF :)

I hope you had a good weekend? And that you and baby are still doing well :)

peachygirl · 12/03/2006 22:01

I'm around but on and off, need to straighten hair, sort out stuff for work etc. Hope you are OK

hi peachy, thankyou for your posting on the other thread just now. Are you still around?

peachygirl · 12/03/2006 17:58

Hi all I'm back from my weekend. I had a mixed time. I and Dh are very tired (not from too much bding) and spent a fair amount of the weekend sniping at each other (you know how it can be sometimes)
Litle Britain was great and the hotel was good, a little old fashioned really. We did have a bit of passion but Dh 'pulled out' (sorry TMI Blush you know I dread to think what would happen if we had a meet up no one would be able to look each other in the eye all the intimate details we share!LOL)
My massage was nice but a bit strange,I'm not sure what I expected really. My back felt very knobbly when she was doing it - maybe all those stresful knots of tension from the car accident / work
Hope everyone is well welcome new people. Trace I hope you are Ok stay relaxed
Great news about the egg sign pussycat!

pussycatmomma · 12/03/2006 13:17

hi to anyone is around. I just wanted to drop in v. quickly to say I had the egg sign on my persona machine yesterday and friday. this was day 10 and 11 for me. Am really pleased, even if i dont get my bfp, at least i can think of it as a good sign maybe. So far bd on 7,9,10, and hopefully get one in later today, day 12. I am so wishing i get lucky this month!!! at least if im not ill know ive done everything poss to get there.
Trace, sorry you feeling poorly darlin, hope you pick up soon.
had a really busy weekend, last night my 7yr old twin niece and nephew had a babysitting sleepover with me, it was great i really enjoyed it. This morning we were up at the crack of dawn making pancakes and croissants and generally having a breakfast feast Smile. Dropped them off and went to my other sis in laws to help with party food as it is my other nieces 3rd birthday party today.................75 children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have tried not to comment, but am thinking "oh my goodness, that is far far far too many". She is v. over the top in gen and can be v. materialistic. Works f/t , niece in f/t nursery since she was 3mnths. Not my place to ever utter it, but me thinks she is overcompensating somewhat. Oh well, each to their own. I have been rotered as a helper on one of the tables (yes there is a table plan, a food plan, name badges for each child......wtf?) so i have just scoootered back to have a bath and get changed out of my scruffs in order to dash back and help some more.
Am v.v. v. tired!
by the way, i know there are alot of new ladies on here, but for anyone who would like to know, my sister is due to go to clinic tomorrow for her 3rd ivf treatment. This cycle she is doing a FET (frozen embryo transfer), so in 2 wks time we shall know either way. Think this may be her last try, so please all remember her in your prayers.
love and hugs to all

Sorry if i have missed anything important but havent had a chance to read any of the threads. Hope everyone is ok.

well if temp goes up a lot more than previous temps then usually means you've ovulated = return of fertility! But it hasn't done that yet Smile

I hope so Beartime!! I am so excited, if after all of this AF arrives I am not going to be a happy bunny!!

I haven't got a clue what temping is about, but from what you have said, it does sound good!!! :o

beartime · 12/03/2006 08:38

NJ does sound pg to me! Grin

I am charting, and my temp is low two days after i thought it might have gone up so I think my body must still be getting ready to start ovulating again - good news is that it might be less than a month though if it keeps working up to it! They say that there's a long fertile time b4 your first ovulate when bfing.
