SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 18:04

Wow solars that's fabulous news!!!!!

Geeklette · 19/07/2012 17:57

OMG solars that is the most amazing news!!! No wonder you're feeling a bit shell-shocked, but what a star your GP (and the new referral unit) is. I am so utterly thrilled to bits for you Grin Grin Grin

Solars · 19/07/2012 17:52

Hello, hello!

For those of you who asked, we had a lovely meal out last night, reminiscing about our wedding day!

Munx gosh I'm so glad to hear you're ok now after that scare of yours.

Geek I am so glad you have an appointment date which could be brought even further forward, well done you!

Keep really pleased to hear all is well tubes wise, now off to dtd and that's an order!

Sparkes every time you talk about points the little voice in my head keeps saying 'what do points mean? Prizes!' Now that's showing my age!

Maybe & Imps you both are so diffed!!

Right, I'm a little shell shocked here, I got a call from my GP this morning telling me that she spoke to our pct today and they may be able to get me onto fertility treatment before I'm 40! The original referral was to BARTS who rejected us but she said that if we go alternatively to Oxford then they could get us started ASAP! And this afternoon I got a call from Oxford fertility unit booking me in for my first appointment next week!! Eeek!!! I honestly thought we wouldn't get any help from the NHS and now we have our first appointment next week, I have to say my GP has been an absolute star!!

keepitgoing · 19/07/2012 17:07

That's a relief geek, here's to a speedy appointment!
sparks are you driving yourself mad with all possible permutations?? Make dh take you out tonight!

I was surprised how tiny the fallopian tubes are. Also seem quite long, poor sperm. Do they tend to meet in the tube or in the womb? (Ignorant..)

Right, have sent dirty message to dh to make him forget his cold and come home soon raring to go. Then we have the less glamorous task of somehow hauling boxes into the loft... What an evening... Grin

GreenOlives · 19/07/2012 16:34

Great news Keep, glad to hear the tubes are nice and clear. I got a BFP the cycle after my HSG (sadly ectopic but BFP nevertheless!) And this BFP was the cycle after my lap & dye so there's definitely something in the increased fertility after the tubes have had a good flush out - fingers crossed! Smile

Geek Great result, hurrah for lovely EPAU Sister! Smile

Sparks 65 pts pregnant sounds promising, as do imps and maybe's blindingly obvious symptoms - I can feel some BFPs are just around the corner!

Geeklette · 19/07/2012 15:50

The EPAU sister told me to consider the first day of my cp bleed as CD1 so I have beaten FF over the head until it obliged. I have now fast-forwarded from CD5 to CD9 :)

sparks I wish I could help with your ov date but there are a few possibilities :( I think FF has been pretty fair with its assumption though (for what it's worth!)

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 14:51

If I change my FF setting to advanced, and let it set my OV date for me then I'm 82pts diffed Hmm I wish I knew when I OV'd this month!!

Geeklette · 19/07/2012 14:38

Go sparks!! See if you can get it up to 70 Grin

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 14:36

Oh and currently I'm 65pts pregnant (maybe I think you can only do this on the paid account, which you shouldn't bother signing up for on account of you being differed!!)

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 14:34

geek good result!! Fingers crossed for a sooner appointment!!!

Pretty sure someone has stabbed me in my right boob Sad least I imagine that's how it would feel!!

Geeklette · 19/07/2012 13:42

That's great news keep! Good luck with the perfectly timed SWI, I am predicting a BFP for you in - ooh 14 days Grin

beedle your life rocks :) Enjoy the shopping/lunching and try not to think too much about those of us stuck in offices/labs/various other places of work...

solars happy belated anniversary, hope you had a fab time!

imps glad the octopiggies are treating you well, don't you strain yo' lil self now Grin LOVING hearing about your pant snot antics, that is just hilarious! I myself am a scooper Blush as even with the EPO I don't tend to have enough to make it as far as the toilet paper. If I do, it is usually a cause for great celebration Grin

maybe your signs are very positive, do your norks normally give you so much grief? I do think the knitting name calling is a bit harsh, that goes for sparks too. I don't think I could be brave enough to knit in public. There are some cruel people in my area too!

sparks never mind your temps, those nails say you are diffed my girl!

Thanks to an amazing sister in my EPAU, I now know what has happened to my bloods. The lab booked them in for an FS test, not an FSH test which is why it has come back as Fluid Study (FS). I am relieved, as it means nobody is waiting for fluid protein results. The sister was so lovely, she was able to confirm that I have an appointment with the cons on 24th August (the friday before my jury services starts - eek!). Thanks to my ever-amazing and incredibly thorough dr, my day 21 bloods included an FSH work-up and the cons is perfectly happy to accept that as my level (6.7)! The cons therefore doesn't see why I should have to wait until the end of August for my appointment, as the detailed SA results will also be back shortly. The sister is going to call me back on Monday with, hopefully, a much sooner appointment.

Feeling much happier and calmer now, thank you for all your support :)

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 13:32

Keep Great news re tubes, now off you pop to get bonking!!!

I have the most bizarre LP anyways, according to FF its between, 11 and 17 days which we all know isnt right, I think I'm on a 12 day average Hmm sooooo theorectically I guess AF is due tomorrow, I mean not due!! I havent just been looking at FF charts 'like mine' to see if there a chance I can drop below coverline and still get a BFP, apparently when comparing similar charts 18% are pregnancy charts. I'm going to take those odds and run with them!! especially as (touch wood) there hasnt been much in the way of spotting or pant snot for several days!!!

Thanks for everyone helping to perk me up! hubby said this morning, "It ent over until your on the blob" such a wordsmith!!!!

I wont be tempting fate by testing anytime soon!!

keepitgoing · 19/07/2012 13:15

Er, no you won't start spotting, imps, you mean you would. Wrong tense. This is your month! Today's already half way done, and you have skanky nails. Diffed!

maybe has another week, sparks I think is Sat, and boo too. A tripe whammy Saturday coming up, which is good as don't think we've had any bfps this thread?

Imps7 · 19/07/2012 13:10

Hurrah keep! V pleased to hear that you've got normal tubes!! Now go get shagging!!

My nails are skanky - always have been, always will be. I can't have them longer than about 1mm otherwise they tear or chip or whatever. And I never wear nail varnish. Clearly, this means that having skanky nails = preggo symptom - don't worry if you're the opposite though Sparks and Maybe - every pregnancy is different.

Normal LP is 12 or 13 days - will start spotting either today, tomorrow or Saturday. When is AF not due for other 2WWers??

keepitgoing · 19/07/2012 12:16

Hi, thanks for the brooking, it was all fine, my tubes are clear. I have a front and right tilted womb, apparently, v common to have them tilted one way or the other. He said there's a slight increase in conception chance the next few months, so get to it... Am just hoping I didn't POP my egg yet or it would have been flushed away! It was only a little painful, like medium period cramps

sparkly boo hiss for temp drop, but you never know...

Have just had two chocolate donuts, so unsurprisingly feel a bit sick..

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 11:33

I'm pretty sure I don't look like either!!

Just popping by quickly to brook for keep's HSG today. If CBFM is peaking I'd say the timing is perfect - I've no experience of HSGs but if you're not too sore later I'd say go for it :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/07/2012 10:32

That is so a symptom!!! I have the same!! I stopped having fake ones put on, and they are actually starting to grow!!

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 10:17

oh ladies heres a symptom for you, even if I have counted myself out!!

My nails are in amazing condition!!! This is so very rare for me!!! my hands almost look like they belong to a woman rather then a nervous nail biting little old man!!! (of course this could be caused by the fact I havent put polish on them for a while but I can dream cant I?)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/07/2012 10:07

Saprks massive cross posting from me there.

I am so going back to get more S&G. I used it for years then decided to try some new things. But I am back on the wagon now Grin

I have also been called names for knitting on the train. Or I get people that are sitting next to me talking about me and what I may be making. Just f'ing ask me you twunt

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 10:05

Imps Id like to declare that pant snot checking is also my favourite pasttime at the moment, I had copious amounts about 2 days ago, but I too at the moment am as dry as a witchs tit (but on a side note how do we know how dry a witches tit is? I mean its not like I regularly walk round with damp nipples, does that mean Im a witch?!)

SecretSparkle · 19/07/2012 10:01

er Maybe Im right here (and further up or down depending on how you have you MN set up) am I invisible? :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/07/2012 09:59

IMps 'dry as a witch's tit' is now my sentence of the week. I shall try and drop it into conversation at some point today Grin

Just very very sore boobs, and I have a metal taste in my mouth. But that really could be anything. I have come to accept that I probably am not going to get preggers without help. But this is the first cycle for a long time where I feel my body is running like clockwork. The accu and diet has made me feel so much more in control of this whole TTC lark.

I am keeping everything crossed for you Imps how long is your LP normally?

And where is Sparks?
