Boo indeed IdRatherBe next month maybe!

I did a First Response test this morning and was BFN but still no bleeding so still in limbo!

photochick · 06/07/2012 09:59

Congrats Ava!!
Idratherbe - sorry AF got you
Any update Ratata?
I am hoping this morning these are pg. symptoms otherwise I feel exhausted and sick for no reason!!
AF due this weekend but possibly as late as Tuesday (cycles a bit wobbly after the pill). I have tests at home and tempted to test tomorrow morning. If nothing else to get the first one out the way!!

Idratherbe · 06/07/2012 07:17

Evil red tide of doom has arrived, 4 days early too. Booooooo. Oh well, at least I recorded my litany of pre-period indicators!

Ava1985 · 04/07/2012 20:34

Sounds like you could still be preg then Ratata! I would do the same and save the first response until your due on :) Keep us all updated! I will do so aswel with my tests :)

Idratherbe - Mr Ava has been saying he knew all along even before we started trying lol I have about 5 internet cheapies to use up and one more first resp so going to used those over the course of the nxt week and then get the digi one!

IdRatherBe trying to keep positive now Smile I agree symptom spotting is too difficult not to do!!

Ratata · 04/07/2012 20:15

I used an Internet cheapie from Amazon both times. I drank a lot of water last night so wondered if my urine was too diluted. I have one Internet cheapie and one first response test left at the mo. Think I will use the Internet cheapie tomorrow morning and the first response on Friday if AF hasn't properly come by then as Friday is when I'm expecting AF.

Just gonna have to sit in limbo for a bit! Mild cramps at the moment and some back pain. Read that that can be normal during implantation. Will keep fingers crossed!

Idratherbe · 04/07/2012 20:14

PS - today's symptoms are spots and tiredness. Future me- please stop symptom spotting, just wait for your period to arrive. Thanks.

Idratherbe · 04/07/2012 20:12

Aww ratata, don't forget that v early preggers tests are really unreliable and your hcg levels can vary at this stage - I hope this is implantation spotting and that there's a v sticky bean in there Smile

And huge congratulations to Ava! That's great news! I seriously admire your determination not to test with a digi til next week. How did Mr Ava react?

Ava1985 · 04/07/2012 20:08

Thank You! Yes I read in my what to expect book that implantation occurs between 6-12 days.. What test did you use? I used first response as it says it can detect upto 6 days before a missed period.. Also do you usually spot before a period? Talking to my best friend the other day who has just given birth (2 wks ago) she said she got implantation bleeding which was spotting for half a day and thought it was her period but obv wasnt. Also she bled again at 7 wks then nothing since.. So bleeding doesnt have to be bad news all the time..

Congratulations Ava1985 great news!!!!!

Ratata · 04/07/2012 19:47

seatfor5 I have just read that implantation bleeding can happen 6-12 days from ovulation. I'm currently 11dpo I think. What dpo are you? Perhaps thats what it is? Clutching at straws here. My DH says my body is trolling me which made me laugh. If this isn't my month I'm definitely waiting til missed period next time. This being in limbo isn't fun!

Ava1985 · 04/07/2012 19:43

First Response test at what I think is now 11DPO... BFP!!! I can't believe it! Very faint line on an internet cheapie to begin with this morning so then I went out for the first response to confirm it! Still don't think its sunk in...! Going to do a digital one in a weeks time and then get doc appt if all goes to plan :))

Ratata - I'm so sorry to hear that your spotting and got a BFN :( This is what I was concerned about with testing early but I just suddenly had the urge to test. I hope nxt cycle is your cycle. Would you wait longer before testing next time? I think if anything happens to this one (touch wood it doesn't) I would want to wait until a missed period XX

:( oh no Ratata I hope it sticks x no more bleeding for me and just thick mucus which I dont know if thats good of back?

Ratata · 04/07/2012 16:06

I don't think I'm pregnant anymore Sad BFN today and constant spotting. I think it's a chemical pregnancy. I will keep you updated.

seatfor5 · 04/07/2012 11:25

Anymore testing? I think AF is on her way as I have had a pinky discharge this morning and it must be to late for an implant bleed I am sure as I am due on on Saturday :( Hayho I am blessed with 3 lovely boys so I cant really complain! good luck to everyone else x

Ratata · 03/07/2012 21:13

Thanks all!! DH is over the moon. He was still sleeping so I cuddled into him and whispered that there was a faint line and his tired face smiled. Then I had to leave for work, he gets up after me.

I thought 11dpo would be too early as well but it seems not Grin it was an Internet cheapy and it came up within 30seconds.

Hoping this one makes it this time Smile

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 03/07/2012 20:49

ratata wow BFP, I am so pleased for you, a faint line at 11 DPO is amazing news, I would have said too early to test. Congratulations again.

Idrather hope the pregnancy symptoms turn into something positive. The tiredness sounds good.

Photochick my af is due on 13th not superstitious but not optimistic about Friday 13th I know what you mean about symptom spotting, I keep doing it even though I know it is too early for symptoms.

Christelle2207 · 03/07/2012 20:44

Wow that's brilliant news!!!! Is dp thrilled too?

Not too hopeful this end, some very slightly pink discharge this eve. Have had similar before AF before, though this time definitely paler. 8dpo.

Idratherbe · 03/07/2012 20:38

Woah, that's AMAZING ratata, I'm delighted for you! It's so good to know that you were right about simply feeling pregnant. Congratulations Grin

Ratata · 03/07/2012 16:32

Holy balls is what I thought when I saw my pregnancy test this morning. BFP!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm 10 or 11dpo. Faint line but as they say, a line is a line! A little spotting today so I'm taking it easy at the mo. I really felt I was pregnant so I'm glad I'm right!

IdRatherBe thank you, it was a tough time. Sorry for your MC too Sad I hope all your symptoms lead to you being pg Smile

Idratherbe · 02/07/2012 21:18

Thanks for the welcome ladies. I am a shining paragon of virtue, having no tests in the house Grin. There is a reason for this though - I've now had 2 months where I've peed on FRERs only for period to arrive seconds later. I will mostly be sitting on my hands this weekend!

Ratata - I'm so sorry for your MMC and I really hope this is your month. I had a natural MC and fortunately everything happened very simply over the course of a few days, I can't imagine the miserable time you must have had.

Today's symptoms update - low backache, extraordinarily tired (but then it is monday and DS did wake me up at 2...) and an afternoon headache. Just recording this for next month so I can tell the future me off for stupid symptom spotting at the relevant time!

photochick · 02/07/2012 21:14

On the 2ww (AF due 11th July if on time). Symptom spotting like crazy but still not sure! Headache tonight (v rare for me to have a headche) and feeling sick. Pregnancy or just coincidence??
I did order some ptks just in case at the weekend just in case :)

Ratata · 02/07/2012 16:59

Thanks for the condolences all. It was a hard thing to go through but I just try to tell myself that I'm glad I know I can get pregnant. And I honestly think I'm pregnant again now, I will be shocked if I'm not. I feel the same kind of symptoms, only earlier than last time. I felt so queasy this morning and absolutely shattered. Fingers crossed!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid I only had very mild pregnancy symptoms last time. I would feel a bit ill, slightly sore boobs and a craving for Vegemite. Plus some vivid dreams. Some slight pains in my lower abdomen. It was all very mild. Although my SIL had no symptoms at all throughout her pregnancy. The missed period, bump and kicking was all she had!

IdRatherBe sorry to hear about your MC xx I agree the days just seem to crawl don't they!!

seatfor5 good luck this cycle, I hope you get the 4th DC that you want Smile

Ava1985 I believe mood swings are a sign of pregnancy, so you never know! Not over til the witch is out and about.

Ava1985 · 02/07/2012 16:25

Ratata - I am so sorry to hear you had to go through that :( It's heartbreaking :( I pray we all have healthy pregnancies when our time comes! (hopefully sooner rather than later lol) I am now 7dpo and temp has risen again :) But I had a bad morning this morning and got stressed and down for no apparent reason, which ALWAYS happens a week before AF! so im now feeling very negative about this cycle :( Can you get mood swings as a preg symptom?! lol

seatfor5 - Iv been debating with myself whether to buy just ONE first response test but now reading what you have bought I now don't feel so bad about buying it lol! Good luck hope one if not ALL of them are positive for you :)
