Hi all

I'm on day 23 of my cycle and for the past couple of days I've been feeling mildly sick and have had slightly sensitive boobs. I know it's early but I did a test yesterday and today with the First Response 6 days early one and they were both negative.

I'm confused as I am having symptoms - has anyone had something similar and then found out they were pregnant?

Thanks PuppyMummY!

You could still be pg - try again in a few days - it might be that the hcg level is not high enough to register yet.

If I was still doing those internet cheapie tests I would be none the wiser because they are still showing no line!!! They are supposed to be very sensitive as well.

CONGRATULATIONS!

I have done a superdrug and the cb digital this morning and both bfn. oh was obviously right about the non-lines!

however am still waiting for af to arrive so hopefully it will stop messing about and get here so I can get on with cd1.

MrsBradleyCooper · 01/07/2012 22:46

I couldn't wait until tomorrow morning - did the clearblue
Digi and got a BFP!!!!! Woohooooo!

Also did the super sensitive Internet cheapie one
With the same pee and it was negative - I'd never recommend them to anyone.

Waiting to hear from everyone else - fingers crossed!!

I was 8 days late before I finally got a + with DD, I'd advise not to test too often tbh, I spent a bloody fortune on tests. It didn't change the fact that I was pregnant though.

puppymummy my very faint line is now 7 months. I broke the news to DH by saying "if you can see that line too I'm pregnant"!

I'm now 3 days late, good luck ladies!

PuppyMummy · 01/07/2012 20:21

I know but it was so faint that oh declared 2/3 of them not lines! I used a clear blue plus first that was very very very faint then in afternoon a first response which was faint but you could see it then a superdrug (which are supposed to be good and very sensitive 10mu) but that was mega faint and even I wasn't convinced!

I'm going to do the other superdrug in morning and also have a cb digital that I'm saving for a special occasion!!

good luck with yours

Thanks Smile

PuppyMummy - a line is a line!! Keep testing and I'm sure congratulations will soon be in order.

After my last post I did a bit of research on the internet cheapie ones and it turns out they are not as sensitive and reliable as they make out......so I have bought a clearblue digital and will test tomorrow morning.

Will check back after I've done it with my results and to hear yours PuppyMummy!

hi I'm in a similar situation. af was due Fri or sat as I normally have a 23/24 day cycle. no af on Fri so I tested sat morning. got a very very faint line so faint that oh said there wasn't one, did 2 more tests and one was very very faint again and the other nothing really!
however still no af so going to test again in morning.
if u don't get af try testing in a couple of days.
Fingers crossed for u

Fingers crossed mrs Bradley, I have been in similar boat and AF came eventually (late!) unfortunately. That's not to say that it I'll be the same for you- heard loads of stories on here about ladies not getting positive until quite a while after AF due. Remember to try first thing next time as that is when the hormone will be more concentrated.

MrsBradleyCooper · 01/07/2012 13:41

Well just an update..... still -ve test and Af due tomorrow....

I have even been using those super sensitive internet ones.

BUT I feel nauseous, sore boobs, exhausted, peeing loads...... just don't know what to think.

I'll try again tomorrow. Ho hum.

Thank you - will keep you up to date!

I've spoken to lots of people who have said with subsequent pregnancies they were far more alert to the symptoms second/third time around.....
Please update via thread.....Smile

MrsBradleyCooper · 26/06/2012 14:41

Aw thanks - I do feel pg, but I just don't know if I'm over analysing everything!

I'll try to wait until Friday and test again - I didn't test until at least 10 days past AF due date the last two times so I don't know how early it'll show up.

Congratulations on your pregnancy Smile.

I tested early with this preg as I just knew I was pregnant. I did an early test (2 in fact) and both negative.Wasn't until I was 2 days late that I got a positive.
Good luck.
It seems like such a long wait doesn't it.
