Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

I know exactly where you're coming from Bugs - our 2nd mc pushed us over the edge for a while (you might remember from my Dec/Jan posts). But we made it through - we just took some time apart and found a way to come back together on better emotional terms. You and GP are strong as a couple - and no matter what you face, you can get through it together. please ignore how cheesy that sounds as it's the truth

All that said, you haven't mc'd, sweets. And there is a very good chance that you won't. I know it's hard to stay positive but you haven't had any additional spotting, right? Have you called your EPU to see if they could get you in today?

I think 30 mins PHd, 15 mins MN lors.

Had appointment. Good news is he believes me :) abd thinks it is a urology problem, so no faffing between consultants. Got to have an op Confused as a day case to have a look up me pipe work and possibly flush things out. Awaiting date but likely to be soon.

My buzzwams are less tender, BFN this morning but no sign of droid so jury still out.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:34

Grin at padding and ouch at groping - I asked for that...
As for PhD-ing, I reckon it is best ignored, but if it will make you stressed and miserable, you should do something about it. But I would so use the early diffage exhaustion as an excuse...

LauraPalmerish · 25/06/2012 10:28

How about no PhD and all MN?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:24

Come back laura, how does PhD interspersed with MN sound?

Does anyone want to prod my boobs? Envy They are heavy, painful and not diffed...

Northey · 25/06/2012 10:23

bugs, darling, I really feel for you. Brown blood is not heavy red, though, which is the really worrying one. Any pain?

LauraPalmerish · 25/06/2012 10:18

Hope it goes well today, Faithy and that you get some much-deserved answers.

How're you feeling today Euro?

Today I must get a load of PhD writing done that I've been putting off for several weeks. Difficult as I really just want to lay around in bed and read MN freds. Grrrrrrrr to work.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:03

Good luck, faif. Really hope they can get some way towards answers for you!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 10:02

Wish me luck I'm off to my hospital appointment!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 09:57

Thinking of you bugsy, keeping stuff crossed.

Also I need to go back to work out what my cowboy horse was called. Oh I remember: re-introducing Jolly Jumper!

Cannot look on the previous page and my brain has been replaced by a siff, so will keep it at this. Feeling very MEH, so hope you lot will be here and distract me!

ShredniVashtar · 25/06/2012 08:02

bugs, poor you. Thinking of you and little bean and hoping you get answers soon.

CaveMum · 25/06/2012 07:54

Oh Bugs, more support and hand holding here. I too have absolutely everything crossed for you. I know your scan is tomorrow but can you call them and ask for an emergency scan today?

((((hugs))))

bugs I'm in the same boat as sinky but I echo her sentiments. Sounds wise to take the time off

sinkingflameofhilarity · 25/06/2012 07:37

bugs, I have to rush off to work, but just wanted to say I'm crossing every finger and toe for you. I really hope you're wrong.

I'll try and drop in later to see how youre getting on.

Kx

Oh I've been in touch with rie for those who know her she says hi! She's just in the investigations phase but she's ok.

HaveALittleFaith · 24/06/2012 22:32

Oh no :(

CamelKnees · 24/06/2012 21:37

Grin at the thought of Northey in bed gently tweaking the baps.

I swear to god I could swing from the fricking lampshade with a live grenade dangling off each tit and he wouldn't bat an eyelid right now.......

Northey · 24/06/2012 21:30

I went to bed at half time, alwynstardust... Watching football was interfering with my need to grope my buzzwams to check tenderness (minimal but discernible).

alwyn · 24/06/2012 20:45

Love the idea of intravenous gin!!

I'm glad I'm not currently pregnant - the stress of this bloody football game is unreal. Oh well, here goes another 45 minutes of hell......

CamelKnees · 24/06/2012 20:12

Ahhh ok. HY's little village is the other side of Worksop from you. It's the smallest place I've ever been to. Proper one horse town. Ba dum bum psssssshhhhhh

HaveALittleFaith · 24/06/2012 20:07

I'm in the shire of Lincoln humpity so it's only a quick trip down the A57 to Worksop :)

CamelKnees · 24/06/2012 19:59

Hello lovelies

Intravenous gin anyone? (dot, LP and Bugs I'm afraid the best I can offer is intravenous Ribena with a spectacular chocolate brownie on the side).

Euro/cavey - thanks for the 'assistance' info. Like LP says I know a few people who have gone through or are going through various assisted procedures but have never really known what they involve.

sinky hope this clinic is better. In my experience a lot of the NHS is shite unless you're a bit of a pushy middle class nag (geddit - nag? Not just a hat rack my friend). Well worth knowing what they can do and mithering for it, or at least an explanation as to why they don't do it, IYSWIM.

norfy Grin at medically sanctioned downtime. EOD is a lot! It's taking all my womanly wiles to keep HY interested. He's not used to so much action after all these years!

LP and bugs. Keeping hooves crossed for you both. Bugs for what it's worth excessive CM is a symptom! I had lots and its recognised by Dr Google...

faif sounds like a lush weekend! are you not far from Worksop? HY hails from near there.

I am so glad we're going home tomorrow. This place is gorgeous but it's so family friendly that at least 85% of all womenfolk here are diffed-up. Am so Envy I think I've developed new frown lines. Grrrrr

CaveMum · 24/06/2012 19:46

Dammit, posted too soon.

[strokes bugs' hair and ruffles Smokey's mane]

[moves Frankel away from Fury, fighting stallions = not fun]
