Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

Xpost fsr.

Would he be able to move sideways in his job, no getting the big promotion, but moving home more permanently?

I have friends who live apart from their partners, short term pain, long term gain etc, but it looks really tough.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 26/07/2012 07:26

Ouch fsr. Is he speaking to the boss today? Sounds horrible. Do you know why hes so worried he won't cope?

driz, cd2 tvs sounds pretty grim. You won't be the first of course, but I know what you mean- it just adds a whole new dimension of badness to it all.

Am totally ready for the weekend. Am currently in bed writing this, when should really be up, showered and going out the door. Sigh. Work yesterday was just one pregnant woman after another, interspersed with a woman with a newborn. Today will not be, thank god.

Oh FSR I came on here to congratulate you on the best name change eva, but I see there is more serious stuff to attend to. So sorry about the job stress and even more that you can't really do a thing. That is rubbish. I really hope HWNN will be able to work something out with his boss, or that he's stressing unnecessarily. It does sound like he is an amazing employee, although that is no good if you're his partner and see him working too much. Poor you :( Is it at least Frankel day today, so you can have something cheery?

And well done for gluten-free gluttonay, faif! Did you ice them this morning?

I am about to go to a cd3 scan, which with the stop-starting on Tuesday is a cd2 scan in terms of blood. JOY.

Northey · 26/07/2012 06:59

Oh the poor soul. It is dreadful feeling like that about a job. How did you leave things? Sometimes having an enormous wobble leaves people feeling slightly more balanced and able to try things. Is he that sort of person, do you think?

And :( for you as well. It's rubbish feeling helpless and remote.

So it was greed as well as altruism? That's my girl :)

HaveALittleFaith · 25/07/2012 22:35

Well someone else is baking but I'm not convinced they'll be able to sort gluten free for me. So I baked!

Northey · 25/07/2012 22:28

That's very decent of you in this heat, faith!

Northey · 25/07/2012 22:27

Wooooo!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/07/2012 22:27

Combined genius of the BESH :)

I've just baked fairy cakes for our team meeting tomorrow. House smells yummy. Getting a bit late so I might ice them early tomorrow, they're just cooling off. It's in honour of the last meeting before all the doctors change and we've had a really good lot this time. I shall miss them!

LauraPalmer · 25/07/2012 22:20

[twirls]

Like this you mean?!

Northey · 25/07/2012 21:42

Brilliant! Cavey should register that as a username right now!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/07/2012 21:29

I think cavey should go in a t-shirt that says 'Frankel says relax'

Didn't see the tv thing, been for a 6.5k walk in honour if project BMI baybee! :)

sinkingflameofhilarity · 25/07/2012 20:56

It was the soldier with no legs and a brain injury that got me. Looked just like my friends husband, who's in the marines.

And the really proud mum and dad of the man with downs from Shetland...

Actually, I'm welling up again thinking about it.

What has happened to me? I think my gins been spiked with baybee dust and sparkles.

CaveMum · 25/07/2012 20:21

Sinky, I was watching that. I had tears in my eyes when PC Rathband's daughter ran, and when she said she wanted to run blindfolded for her dad I sobbed Sad

I would love you to go, bedecked in horsey glory- think Frankle t-shirt, cycling helmet with some fabric tucked over it, a whip

Currently sat on sofa crying about all the sad stories of people carrying the Olympic torch. Crazy shit. Must be nearing ov for that degree of mental.

CaveMum · 25/07/2012 19:34

I currently have none, though my Book of Face profile page has lots of pictures from the racecourse!

I shall attempt to be casual, I'm going with a group of about 20 others so will have to try and avoid yelling "ssqqquuueeeeeee!" when I see him Wink

HaveALittleFaith · 25/07/2012 19:26

Will you be decked out in Frankel paraphernalia when you visit?!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 25/07/2012 19:24

So cave, how much Frankle merchandise have you got?

CaveMum · 25/07/2012 18:38

Don't know what you mean Faith Wink
