Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

Oh god. I'm definitely too tired for daily sechs. Good luck Alwyn!

Is it some sort of cosmic joke that I get such bad cramping at OV that it actually makes the sechs quite uncomfortable? Also boobies are enormous and super sore. Mother nature is a sadist cow.

HaveALittleFaith · 04/07/2012 18:27

Just one cycle of daily sechsing.....
Ah, I remember those days Wink

Just watching the tennis while dinner cooks. Come on Andy!

alwyn · 04/07/2012 17:47

I'm hoping one cycle is all it takes and then I can deny him again :)

HaveALittleFaith · 04/07/2012 12:35

Grin dory! Yes 3 presumably unnecessary rather painful smears in my early 20s, more tolerable now though they have changed technique too which helps!

I recall my sister saying I think when you get started they'll be no stopping you .... I think she was right! Wink

FriendofDorothy · 04/07/2012 11:02

Lemons is right Faif - no need for a smear until you are sexually active. I never got one done until about 3 years ago for exactly that reason. I was a Good Little Evangelical for many years until I saw the light and started shagging like a bunny.

HaveALittleFaith · 04/07/2012 10:51

Ah yes but DMum made me go saying even nuns get cervical cancer Confused so I went.

We only managed every day sechsing one cycle. Quite telling really. MSB has recently done his jiap - oh the difference! Being told not to have the sechs has made him want it more! Grin I have high hopes for the results this time...

eurochick · 04/07/2012 10:35

ARGH. Stoppid MN just crashed and lost my post. Dammit. Will post again later.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 04/07/2012 10:12

So sorry bugs that is rubbish news. Keeping everything crossed for growth spurts and thinking of you!

Respect for everyday sechsing al, we used to do that. But TTC has taken the fun out of it all. And now if we want to SFF (sechs for fun) I need to locate the (nearly?) out of date condoms... Cannot be bothered.

Faif well done for getting your smear done. But (as I was a virgin at 21 too) you don't need smears until you start sechsing. So even when I was sechsing I denied for a while so I got out of it, until I presented with a suspected STI (was nothing) and I had to fess up Wink. Well done for clean carpets as well.

Still busy here and MN keeps kicking me out :(

alwyn · 04/07/2012 09:56

[gives bugs a very un-MN squeeze] Keeping you in my thoughts.

Well, Droid has finally fucked off so I can get back to jumping CGH at every opportunity. Going for every day this time round (yeah, we'll see how long it lasts!!) and taking EPO for more CM!

HaveALittleFaith · 03/07/2012 20:50

I'm a bit late posting this evening due to cleaning the carpets at the rented house (major ew) and getting a smear after a reality nudge from euro's circumstances Which I have come to realise is far less painful when you're having the sechs - disadvantage to being in the 'smear at 21+ generation' along with with waiting til you get married Hmm

bugs I guess while there's a heartbeat there you will hold on to hope. I think you need to bear what they said in mind and just take each minute day at a time.

CamelKnees · 03/07/2012 20:36

Oh bugs you poor thing. Absolutely gutted for you that you're having to go through all this. Really hoping that this somehow turns out to just be a slow start... Thinking of you

Evening ESH! Sorry been so AWOL this last week or so. Combination of crazy busy work and trying to hump my way through week 2 of my cycle means there never seems to be any time! Think I'm gearing up to OV in the next 2-3 days. Can you believe I'm starting to feel nervous about BFN and I've not even bloody OV'd yet. Definitely not good.

euro glad you're feeling more positive after taking control sweety. Even if it just ends up being a break for a while. It must be right thing if you feel so much better.

Hope everyone else bearing up ok.

ShredniVashtar · 03/07/2012 19:33

Oh bugs how hard for you. It's hard to know what to say without sounding trite, but I think you're being incredibly brave and my heart goes out to you and GP.
(((((((un mumsnetty hugs))))))

Northey · 03/07/2012 19:29

In two days? Or nine?

How are you and GP tonight?

Do you have a date for the next scan?

I agree with Norfy. If there is a heartbeat I wouldn't be able to do anything. I'd have to wait and see what happened.

((((hugs)))))

Northey · 03/07/2012 17:39

Oh fuck, bugs, I'm so so sorry you're going through this.

Google is irresistible, I know, so there's no point in encouraging you to stay off it. Oh my poor love.

I don't know what happens if there is still a heartbeat next week, but regardless of what the doctors say in that case I would refuse tablets. I wouldn't be able to make myself do anything else.

LauraPalmer · 03/07/2012 16:59

I have a friend who went through exactly that, Bugs - they continued to book her in for growth scans every 6-8 days to monitor the situation. Apparently there's a specific size/date combination that until reached the NHS won't want to interfere.

Be careful with the Googling...(it always brings me down).

alwyn · 03/07/2012 16:47

I'm so sorry bugs :(

And no idea on what happens next week.

Shit. I'm so so sorry. Such sad news and so unfair that it has to be dragged out for you. I feel angry on your behalf. Sending love.

AlpinePony · 03/07/2012 12:01

bugs I'm so sorry. :( (big hugs)

FriendofDorothy · 03/07/2012 10:57

Oh bugsy. I am so sorry. Sad

sinkingflameofhilarity · 03/07/2012 10:39

Thinking of you Bugs. It's just not fair.
