Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

Mornin.

Matthew Mcconaughay surely? Mmmmm.

CaveMum · 18/07/2012 07:22

I approve of the fresh blood. Your answer to question 4 shows you are a true BESH - baybee dust is strictly vorboden in BESH-Land Grin

Am laughing at "spiritually Japanese" - I love a bit of red & black, have an affinity for mountains and like fishing - I think I too am Japanese.

Someone was kicked out for being TTC#16 or something.

I am old ESH from the beginnings of time (2009).

blonderthanred · 18/07/2012 01:12

McFadyen? Or the American one?

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 23:46
  1. Do you like gin?

I like any kind of alcohol. My health is dictated by how much I can drink. Recently, my diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetic has meant that I need to sneak alcohol on the side because it can actually kill me. Oh well.

  1. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?

Gold digger for sure. But he married me for the visa so we're square
^ Just in case someone from Border Control reads this, that was a joke^

  1. Baybee-making - to put a baybee in your tumtum, which hole do you use: a) weewee b) poopoo c) foofoo d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

I am prepared to try all fucking four of them if it gets the baybee in my tumtum. Foofoo hasn't worked as yet. And I am atheist (explains why I am not pregnant and have aforementioned Type 1 Diabetes)

  1. Testing - when someone wonders if they should test for updiff (pg), do you: a) bellow 'POAS!' at them non-stop and punch them repeatedly in the kidneys till they wet themselves anyway. b) Sprinkle them with babydust and send them hugs and kisses on lickle baby angel wings.

I am (c) - practically asking them if they are honestly going to test at 9DPO and get a positive? I then actively sprout out medical statistics about how there are NO SYMPTOMS and spend the next week dodging falling shit.
And I am probably going to get into (more) shit but whenever someone says "babydust", I want to (a) buy them some more IQ points and (b) vomit over something pink and fluffy.

  1. Is R2D2: a) an adorable robot from Star Wars. b) the source of all evil.

a) I wouldnt' say "adorable". Stuey off Family Guy is "adorable"

  1. what colour are your walls?

White. But I have conveniently decided that the rest of my house is black and red because I am Japanese at heart.

  1. Number of pets?

I had two dogs but then I got rid of them and got married instead.

  1. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

Hmmmm. Matthew Whathisname...

  1. Lesbian crush?

Sandra Bullock. Or erm...Kate Hudson

  1. What are your views on camping?

I love camping. But I like luxury camping where you take a blow up mattress and lights...

  1. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?

i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

I have no idea. I ran out of patience with the bastards and bought a bunch about 4 months ago last and haven't used them. I also bought fertility tests for me and my pet (see point 7) but we've not used any of them (mainly due to random health fuck up 5 weeks ago).

I haven't caught it first time around as yet. And the best is that my gynae has done all the checks and there are no reasons for me NOT to fall pregnant. Apart from obviously...I've NOT fallen pregnant yet.

Northey · 17/07/2012 23:45

Apparently someone was refused once, well before my time. But that almost definitely wouldn't happen here. Oh no.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 17/07/2012 23:43

Post it here, we'll shamelessly judge you based on your responses.

but, to my knowledge, we've not refused anyone yet

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 23:35

Belong rather

Never as interesting if you have to explain

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 23:33

Right I think I've done the questionnaire

Do I post it on that thread or this one?

I am desperate to below to something Grin

Northey · 17/07/2012 23:21

Poor old ancient havealittlefaithcrone. You're still pretty much the baby here, which can be a consolation. Apart from bugs, I think.

Northey · 17/07/2012 23:19

Yow yow yow at cystoscopy! But it's a short term ouch to get rid of a long term one. Hurrah for a date at last!

HaveALittleFaith · 17/07/2012 23:12

Just realised I am 30 now......but only for another month

HaveALittleFaith · 17/07/2012 23:11

Being 30 now is fine. It's not a hard and fast rule. Filling in a BESHtionnaire is though!

HaveALittleFaith · 17/07/2012 23:10

We are Bitter Evil Selfish Hags - as dubbed by the DM, generally womenz in our 30s who are having difficultly winning a baybee because we waited too long for the sake of our careers

Yes indeed. We know something of your spirit but if you search for the BESHtionnaire in search from the last couple of months you should copy and paste and put your own answers in :)

Thanks for the encouragement knockknees! I luff project BMI that's sticking! Yes I have a date and a double goal to aim for now. I'm tired tonight but in a 'got fresh air' kind of way. They are planning a cystoscopy - sticking a camera up my wee-wee hole to find a suspected blockage with a view to removing said blockage. Will be day case but will need a couple of days at least post-anaesthetic to get back to work, longer if they have to pop a stent in (worst case scenario). Actually maybe worst case scenario would be them not finding anything at all?!

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 23:10

Oh f* maybe not

I'm 30 now... Does that count???

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 23:09

Is it "Bradley/Basic Environmental Science And Humanities"

Or knives?? ;)

Northey · 17/07/2012 23:07

Ooh, hello kickassguru! I did like your mardy style. BESH is Barren Evil Selfish Hags. I think it came from a Daily Mail article some years ago. I suppose we should have subtly checked your age, as technically it was for 30something TTCers who'd been around for a while. But we've had a few late 20s recently, so what the hell. The barren grumpiness is the thing.

Current theme is horse racing, so grab yourself a horse, obsess about your headgear if you're sinky, who still hasn't recovered from the loss of her feathered ceremonial Hat Of Office in the last fred and crack on with the BESHtionnaire for us to assess your racing form. I think it's in the first post on this thread.

ShredniVashtar · 17/07/2012 23:05

Hello ariel! I recognise you from my lurking days. Am assuming your fanjo cam showed a pretty picture, yes?

Also hello to guru. Get your ass back here once you've googled what BESH stands for.

Northey · 17/07/2012 22:59

rierierierierierie! I miss you, you selfish caaaah, failing to share The Magic That Is You around properly. Did you enjoy dildocam, at any rate?

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 22:21

Bwaaahahahaha why thank you Grin

So erm...what does BESH mean?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 17/07/2012 22:13

But of course, where are my manners?

Hello there kick. We've all been mighty impressed. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed at didn't all totally kick off, but meh, it was fun while it lasted.

Find your self a BESHtionnaire, we'll pull up our steeds and start pouring the shots.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 17/07/2012 22:07

Fresh blood?

KickTheGuru · 17/07/2012 21:16

It was suggested that I pop my head in here...

CamelKnees · 17/07/2012 20:32

Well done faitharama sounds like project BMI is going really well. I'd promised myself that if I wasn't up diffed this cycle I would spend 2 weeks doing some serious exercise to kick start a new healthy regime. Now I'm back on CD1 I'm just not sure I can be arsed (as evidenced by the fact that I'm sat here scoffing a magnum and drinking luffly pink wine)

Really pleased for you re op date. So nice to have light at the end of the tunnel. Remind me what they're doing to you again...?

HaveALittleFaith · 17/07/2012 20:24

sinky, not your day is it? Can you talk to anyone else? When I talked to a practice receptionist about my smear she was very vague saying it had to be a special clinic and they couldn't do my asthma review at the same time?! I couldn't sort it with drippy woman to fit around fertile period/post ov so I gave up. Rang back later in the week, booked in no problem and the nurse did my asthma review quickly afterwards Hmm some people are obsessed with the rules, some people are flexible!
