Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

It feels like it euro....it's just she does it around people including my biased and no-one bats an eyelid so sometimes I wonder if I'm bring over sensitive? I have started a diary with the big stuff and approximate dates and will note anything when I go back. Happily our leave overlaps so I get a couple of week's reprieve :)

Just blowing up the lilos watching the pump do all the work while BIL puts awning up. The sun is shining. I'm officially on holiday!

eurochick · 28/07/2012 17:57

Faithey that kind of behaviour is bullying. I have worked for a boss like that. Start keeping a diary of incidents in case it gets out of hand and you need to report her.

Yeah, my trust steed has done 2 out of 3 (?!?) freds I've been on so far...

FrankelSaysRelax · 26/07/2012 21:43

Farewell old fred. The horses have been set free to roam the countryside, but will no doubt be called upon for a future fred.

HaveALittleFaith · 26/07/2012 21:42

New thread new thread new thread new thread!

FrankelSaysRelax · 26/07/2012 21:42

I was thinking that Drizzly, Frankel stays Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/07/2012 21:40

FSR you should clearly stay as you are. Frankel is a superhero by himself :)

FrankelSaysRelax · 26/07/2012 21:32

Haven't settled on a Superhero name yet but my tag line, as given by Norf earlier in the thread, will be Ovaries of Steel Grin

KickTheGuru · 26/07/2012 21:29

So I can become "SooperDooperGuruKicker"????

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/07/2012 21:29

And well done bugs about the heart to heart and the motor-cycle-riding as the answer to all ills (and failing that ice cream will do the trick).

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/07/2012 21:28

What does a pissed lemon look like? Well like this Grin

Sorry about work-shit faif.

Yay about superhero, can I be invisible (as new jobs starts and I might have to work for my money) and stabbing oneself with needles surely is a superpower too?

Hurrah for scannage LP.

Boo to HWNN's shit cave.

And kick some people name change, but the accesories change, so I'll pop jolly jumper back in the stable and don some fairy wings and sticky spiderman feet :)

Who's doing the new Fred then? D'you want me to do it?

bugs you sound well-adjusted given your circumstances and the plan sounds sensible. I'm glad you've found a kindred spirit in work, even if she's currently diffed at least you know it was a hard fought win and have some idea of who to contact doctor wise now. Bless GP for the thoughtful evening on your anniversary! :)

KickTheGuru · 26/07/2012 21:22

Ooooh no whoops :)

I know a lot of women who liked it. It's just not my cup of tea

sinkingflameofhilarity · 26/07/2012 21:21

Oh, and I think I love your husband Bugs.

Ooh. I knew there had been a new fred discussion at some point, but couldn't remember. I love it!

KickTheGuru · 26/07/2012 21:15

bugger nice post - nice husband :)

I've not even bothered to open 50 shades of shit. Any thing mass read by women has to be the biggest load of absolute shit. I couldn't do that to my mind.

Some more Frankel related stuff for you.

and will likely start his stallion career.
FrankelSaysRelax · 26/07/2012 20:58

Did you see the online review of 50 Shades of Crud? Flipping hilarious! This was my favourite passage:

"It's this kind of ignorant trash that sets feminism back decades. Women who defend this book are, however unwittingly, participating in some of the most blatant misogyny I've ever witnessed, giving the impression that some women enjoy being debased, abused, and controlled (outside of a consensual dom/sub relationship). This is not a book about BDSM, this is a book about one sick, abusive man and his obsession with a young, naive invertebrate. It's a book about a girl who has absolutely no sense of self, who sacrifices any pretense of individuality in order to hold onto a man who doesn't even show her the faintest glimmer of respect. It's about two attention-starved individuals with the emotional maturity of toilet paper convincing themselves that their relationship is 'like, the best thing ever, OMG'. It's trite, insulting, and dangerous. I fear for any impressionable young women who read this and think that this is how an ideal relationship should operate. If nothing else, it should be issued as a guidebook to mothers around the world to show their daughters the kind of man to avoid at all costs. This book does good men (and indeed, all of humanity) a disservice. "

FranklelyMr.Shankley - superheros is a fantastic theme (not sure if PESH get a vote?)

had good scanage today - measuring 11+5 and soon to finish the progesterone treatment; finally told my mum so it's starting to feel a bit more real...

And I swear I've never even held a copy of 50 Shades of Shite!

FrankelSaysRelax · 26/07/2012 20:19

I'm quite liking this name change. Think it suits me Grin

In other news, I'm spotting again Confused Starting to wonder if it might be stress related.

Northey · 26/07/2012 20:01

Yes indeed. We are not always horsey (apart from frankel, of course).
