if I was you I would wait till next week when you are expecting your AF and then take it from there.

whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 12:57

Oh and I use cheep opk till I get what I think is a + then use clearblue digital to confirm, that way it's cheeper but you get the clear confirmation from the good brand!

kittykatsforever · 13/06/2012 12:08

I use the opk till its poss then stop so don't know what's normal in length but your surposed to release an egg with 24 hrs after it first detects. Surge, as was mentioned though when ttc my dd I thought I had af although light and only 2 days when infact was implantation bleed then when I started using the opk the following cycle it showed pos straight away on cd13 when usually 17, I was pg and it picked up that, for that long a plus reading I'd be tempted to do a hpt to make sure as it doesn't sound right to me, fingers crossed for you

fanjodisfunction · 13/06/2012 12:06

maybe, good luck, hope youve caught it.

whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 12:04

fanjodisfunction · 13/06/2012 11:58

ok, interresting, maybe you did ov twice if you have done before.

fanjodisfunction · 13/06/2012 11:57

maybe, I guess if this is the first month of using them it will take you time to get use to reading them, thats my experience. You probably did ov over the weekend, maybe read up about cervical mucus aswell so you can pin point it better, but to be honest, sperm lasts along time upto 5 days I think, deffinitly 3 days so you hit it this time.

whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 11:56

i think ive been getting ewcm over the past week too.

last month, i had alot of ewcm on one day, and sure enough period arrive 14 days after ewcm.

I found with the opks from ebay that they were always accurate within a day os two, I also go by cm.

How long have you been using them?

whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 11:49

no i don't think i can be pg, i've only had sex on 7 9 11 june.
i thought i had the darkest line onthe 10th
[tried to have sex that day but poor old dh wasnt up for it that night.

fanjodisfunction · 13/06/2012 11:47

I use those ones, I wait for the dark line and then I dont test anymore so dont know if they continue to show a dark line after.

Your not pg are you? My friend on another thread thought she was ovulating it turned out she was pg, ppks can be used as HPT.

whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 11:40

ive got the cheap ones off ebay

OP posts:
whiteandyelloworchid · 13/06/2012 11:39

there was def a darker one at the weekend, but the rest of them are very dark too.

i know it needs to be as dark as the control line to mean positive.

OP posts:
fanjodisfunction · 13/06/2012 11:36

are the two lines the same darkness? Which opks are you using?
