Anyone got experience of getting pg without having af and I was just wondering how you knew and whether you were trying! I know that sounds strange but I am bfeeding my 9mth old (only once or twice a day though), not using any contraception....! Not had any af since giving birth. Wondering if they'll ever return... Thankyou!!

I have done around 4 in the last 3 months for the same reason!!!! Know I will now do one again in 2 weeks even though it will undoubtably be negative!

oooh yes I will do. You too.
I am fighting the urge to buy a test - ridiculous as I have no reason to belive I am pregnant except that i want to be!

If it is ewcm it usually means ovulation. I had some last month though and then no af but not pregnant, so maybe it is just things starting up again? Had alot more this month so hoping I conceived at the weekend, but somehow feel its not likely. Good luck to you and please keep me posted of any developments, like af or bfp!!

Thanks for your posts girls. I am ttc in the sense that we are not using anything and hoping nature will do its thing as i would like another fairly soon! It took 12 months after stopping the pill to conceive dd so i am just fearful of waiting a long time for another. Strangely enough I am getting lots of cm that i haven't had since giving birth too. (what does heavy cm indicate in your cycle btw?) Am only bfeeding maybe once or twice every couple of days though.
Fingers crossed!

Hi RubyMummy, my dd is nearly 9 months and I've had no af since she was born either and am also hoping to conceive. I took the mini-pill until she was 6 months and have been just sort of hoping it would happen since then. Have noticed an increase in cm last couple of months so hoping things are getting back to normal soon. Still bf quite a bit though so maybe expecting too much. Are you ttc RM?

Not quite... I didn't use contraception and had one af when dd was 6 months. Thought I was just irregular and finally realised I was pregnant when she was 8 months!

It had been a conscious decision to just let it happen as I knew I wanted another one. I realised eventually as I was experiencing extreme tiredness similar to my first.

Good luck!
