hi everyone, i am feeling positive this month. Though really it would be too good to be true for me to be pregnant. Boobs are feeling very heavy, i can't remember if i had this with AF symptoms but i know i had it with my ectopic. Hoping it is the symptom of a pregnancy in the right place. Probably just AF though..... Still, law of averages says SOMEONE on this thread has to have a BFP! Good Luck to whoever that may be :)

Ellypoo · 15/06/2012 13:56

Won't completely give up - not over til AF arrives! Just trying desparately to not get my hopes up too much this month. God I hate the 2ww (along with everyone else!!!)

Poor you fan - I hope you feel better soon, or that it's pg related in which case I hope it's a sticky bean!!

How's everyone else doing?

fanjodisfunction · 15/06/2012 06:24

elly don't give up yet.

I've been ill for the past three days with a sickness bug which could be a symptom in itself, as I never really get ill.
Today I don't feel well but its different to the rest of the week. I'm fed up to be honest and just want to know, but I know its too early CD27 so might try to go to work so I'm not teampted to do a test.

kittykatsforever · 14/06/2012 22:24

Don't give up yet elly, it could also just be a big dinner?!?! ;)

Ellypoo · 14/06/2012 22:13

Well I think it's over for me - my tummy is really bloated which often means AF on way although it is a little early .. We'll see but no hopes now although will still be totally gutted next wk when AF DOES arrive :(

monkeybutt · 14/06/2012 21:53

The heartburn, that is!

monkeybutt · 14/06/2012 21:53

LOL really??? I was at work when it came on and mentioned it to one of the girls, her response was "you're not pregnant are you?" ah well that's another -1 for SS!!!

kittykatsforever · 14/06/2012 21:47

Don't judge me but I may have aswell....,... Lol
Only because ov was so late, I suddenly thought what if I'd ovulated earlier like 9/10 and the opk was a +ive for pregnancy?!?
I was wrong ( obviously) hangs head in shame!
So not sure on chance, didn't really have any symptons last time except for tiredness and well that's nothing new when your getting up at 6 every day so the ss is out for me, fx for you monkey but pretty sure the heartburn doesn't kick in till your like 6 months preggers but love your positivity :)

monkeybutt · 14/06/2012 21:41

I may have tested on Monday....totally negative. I have ordered some extra early tests and a clear blue from amazon today.

I know this will sound strange, as I've never been pregnant before, but I feel pregnant. I've been more tired than usual as well as suffering from heartburn, sporadic nausea and the odd cramping. Maybe 70-80%? This is our first month of trying properly though, so I'm probably talking complete crap lol!

whiteandyelloworchid · 14/06/2012 21:19

how do you feel about your chances this month?

i feel i have about 15-20% chance.

wish we could see what going on in there!

anyone else tempted to test yet? even though its way way too early

kittykatsforever · 14/06/2012 19:23

Me either, this feels the longest 2ww yet, why don't these little eggs hurry up and fertilise!!!!!

monkeybutt · 14/06/2012 19:01

Oh exciting Kitty!! The time isn't going quickly enough for me, I want to test now!!

Thanks for the explanation!! May have to pop out and get one tomorrow :-)

kittykatsforever · 13/06/2012 14:50

Oh and that's pee on a stick, stupid iPhone

kittykatsforever · 13/06/2012 14:32

P.s think I'll be testing same time as you ;)

kittykatsforever · 13/06/2012 14:30

Hi monkey, exactly the same as hpt, just per on a stick lol, you get 7 usually in a pack and range in price but you can get them for a couple of pounds, only found out by acident as didn't realise I was pregnant with dd1 and was using them in the next month and all + then I tried when I thought I should have had an af after stopping breast feeding and was + again, test confirmed pg, I will probably use one when af is due or before if I can't wait as an idea just to stop me wasting loads on money!

monkeybutt · 13/06/2012 13:55

I've never tried an OPK kitty. how do they work?

kittykatsforever · 13/06/2012 13:24

Hi ladies, can I join also?
My heart goes out to all of your sad stories, I too have recently mc, 2 years ttc dd then pg before first af after ( only dtd about 6 times in total so miricle considering!) sadly mc when I was really trying to be positive about the whole experience, back on the wagon and ovulated Monday so another 10 days left for me, we are all due abit of luck so fingers crossed for you all! P.s has anyone tried doing an opk test instead of hpt first to get a idea of a perhaps + test if doing early, both my pg were picked up by an opt first and they are alot cheeper then the hpt for an indication?!?

Ellypoo · 12/06/2012 23:56

Oh god white I totally understand - am in exactly same situation, I desperately want another baby but I also can't face going through another pg, but it would be a means to an end i suppose.
that sounds awful doesn't it - I hope you understand what I mean.

whiteandyelloworchid · 12/06/2012 22:39

thats ok, anyone can get in a muddle.i know i do!

i don't think theres ever a satisfactory reason, i mean i know my son couldnt survive with his heart, but i still do not understand why it didn't form properly in the first place, so even though i know he died from a poorly heart, i still don't understand why

thankyou for your sympathy, its such a weird situation to be in now though as we both dearly want another child, i'm actually dreading being pregnant again in a way as its beyond terrifying for me

CamelKnees · 12/06/2012 22:05

Shit sorry whiteandyellow you're completely right. No excuse except ongoing sleep deprivation

A really really sorry about your son.

whiteandyelloworchid · 12/06/2012 21:37

camel, have you got me muddled with someone else, i havent said on this thread how they could explain it, perhaps youve got me muddled with iloveberries?

in my son's case, his heart did not develop properlySad

OP posts:
CamelKnees · 12/06/2012 20:31

Can I also just add another random symptom to put it to the vote on this thread.

Breathlessness anyone?

I do not remember this from first time around but it comes on a couple of times a day. Just googled it and apparently can be associated with early pregnancy (like every other fricking symptom you care to dream up).

CamelKnees · 12/06/2012 20:21

Evening all. From the sounds of it there has been some super shitty luck experienced by some ladies on this thread. Surely if there is any karma in the world there need to be some BFPs winging their way to you. Keeping everything crossed (and when I say everything I do mean everything. Too tired and dizzy to let DH jump aboard now!)

White and yellow I'm slightly horrified that that was all they could offer you by way of explanation! Surely that doesn't really help you with deal with it all.

My heart goes out to the rest of you ladies that have suffered losses.

Bring in all the wee and all the sticks next week... (I've not got an enviable collection of little lids and small receptacles that can be wee-ed into - its like a new hobby)

whiteandyelloworchid · 12/06/2012 18:08

i'm sure we will have some luck on this thread.

it amazes me, how strong we can be when we really need to.

OP posts:
fanjodisfunction · 12/06/2012 15:50

posypoo I'm the same and the times I've convinced myself I'm not I have been. But then I always know on the day of testing because the cramping is different.

I'm quite ill al the moment got a sickness bug, so been in bed all day. Worrying that if I am pf has this affected it?
