How likely would it be that I am pregnant ?

It is many years since anything pregnancy related has had to cross my mind, so i'm not sure wether I am imagining things or what.

I am not 100% sure of the date of my last period, but I think it was about 16th May. I came off the pill a few mths back and so haven't really been paying much attention to when they are, just how painful they are.

Anyhow, I had sex on 28th May and used withdrawal method ( i know i know, fuckwit). Anyhow, since yesterday (7th) i've felt a bit odd, slightly queasy and just not quite myself.

It would be too early to be getting pregnancy symptoms, right ?? More than likely a bug ??

There are a million reasons why being pregnant would be a disaster, and yes, I know I should have thought of that before using such a shit method of contraception, but it was a heat of the moment thing.

So, i'd now like you all to say 'no no, def not pregnant' lol.

Aww sorry to hear that Shelley. At least now, you know that your dh would be fine with it, and that's all that matters.

Personally, I found going from 2-3 a breeze comapred to going from 1-2.

I am going to try and put this out of my mind for now and cross my fingers lol.

Yes it may be a little early to test yet. Some tests work from a couple of days before you're due, hopefully you will be worrying about nothing, I can imagine it's been far from your mind with older dcs.

I'm not pg. and actually I feel a bit sad about that as I had managed to convince myself that I may be. Asked dh last night if he would be ok with it if I was, he just replied 'course, as long as you are' so I'm not really sure why I was worried at the prospect, esp as we have been talking about it, and he is happy enough to do the practising Wink. I think having two children is usual, it's almost expected but if I was to announce a third im sure it would be met with frowns and disapproving looks. I think the thought of going from 2 to 3 and what others would say scares me.

Anyway, I do hope it all works out for you, thinking about it its probably unlikely that you are?

I think it is too early for me to test isn't it ?? Tbh, my youngest is 9 and a half, so I am very out of the loop wrt to testing.

I can't say too much, as ive name changed and don't want to out myself, but I already have 3 dc and i'm in a very very new relationship. It would be a big disaster.

I think I am just going to wait until I am actually late. I can't afford to be testing just cos i feel a bit queasy.

have no idea if im actually late yet - have not kept an eye on these things properly since DD came along Shock. just have a feeling in back of mind that i might be / could be, not sure why. no symptoms at all apart from feeling knackered - but have 2 DCs who wake v early and ive had a coldy thing andlots of stress this last week or so. but then didnt have any symptoms with the others either.

wouldnt be a bad thing as such, have made no secret that i would like 3 in an ideal situation, just i think reality may be different - would be scared of telling my mother for a start (and she worships her GC)! and would be a squish with room sharing, already lucky to have one of each who adore each other and i wouldnt want that to change. ooh i dont know. am sure that by writing everything down now, AF will be imminent!

you test first!!!

StupidStupidStupid · 07/06/2012 14:32

Ok shelley, we can drive ourselves nuts together Smile

I would love another baby, but it would just not be at all practical in any way, and just a very bad idea so i'm hoping i'm not.

If you think you are late though then i'd def test. It will put your mind at rest.

Sorry, bloody phone!

shelley72 · 07/06/2012 14:28

umm don't know, but I'm going to watch as I too have a niggling feeling that I may be pg. like you, don't really pay too much attention to dates but realised this morning last period month or so ago. Haven't been as careful as could have been, can't really decide if want another dc or not. Too scared to test!
