Need to rant I believe my 1st AF is on its way since my eptopic and tube removal the end of April 12!!!!!
My emotions are all over the place and I'm now crying as " Gennie in emmerdale" seems to of gotten pregnant without wanting or trying!!! It's a soap! But feel like its happening in real life too!!!!!!

Ohhhh Pip- your feeling is your feeling and only you know how to deal with it all! Whatever get you through and get to a good place!
Purple / ilove - I have dcs so the feeling I get about my losses is totally different but also I get " but you already have children, so if you never have anymore, it's not that bad"!'
I love all my dc ( adopted 2) and i like the thought of a large family!
That's why I'm called" count my blessings" as i am so very grateful!
Purple - I loved being pregnant and apart from spd that I had at 21 weeks I breezed through loving every moment as i got pregnant 3 years after my 1st ectopic!!!!!! Every ache was stressing looking back I
Wished i tried harder to get pregnant when I was much younger and in better shape! Oh well!

purple - you are not being greedy at all!!!!! It's totally shit TTC when you have one baby or not. Having said that having 1 DC does make you totally appreciate how lucky you are so from that respect i do feel very lucky.
I recognise that feeling of envy. It's horrible isn't it. I get it as well.

pipbin sorry you're going through all this. we've been going for a year too so I know how you feel. At least you're under the fertility team now. Can you talk to anyone in RL about it?

FX it will be us soon ladies!

Purpleprickles · 25/06/2012 22:52

No I know I just felt a cheeky cow for moaning Blush

Pipbin · 25/06/2012 22:41

Sorry Purple, that wasn't a dig at anyone, just a but of self pity.

Well on the way with the GP. Now under the fertility clinic at the hospital.

Purpleprickles · 25/06/2012 22:07

Pipbin Sad I feel so selfish moaning when I do have one dc. I am being greedy. When a colleague went through the same situation a few years ago I did think can't you be thankful you have a dd already and of course she was and I am but it doesn't stop that longing feeling either. Have you seen your GP?

Pipbin · 25/06/2012 20:32

DHs ex girlfriend, who I am great friends with (weird I know) is due in about 3 weeks and was chatting on Facebook today about names etc.
She is lovely and we get on so well but she said she was pg at xmas, when we had got to 6 months of trying and she had only tried for 2 months.

Just sick of it, it's been 12 months now.
I would give the world for just one. I just want one baby, I'd love two but one would do, I'm not greedy.

Purpleprickles · 25/06/2012 20:14

Count it's hard isn't it. I took my ds to a party on Saturday and another mum was pg, I had this boiling feeling of envy run through my veins and I really hate feeling like that. When I click on active conversations on here and see pregnancy threads about being fat or feeling sick I get really Angry and want to post 'stop moaning you are bloody luck'. This is all very irrational because when I was pg with ds I was sick as a dog and moaned all the time but now I'd give anything to be in that position. I resent what not being pg and wanting so much to be is turning me into Sad

Countmyblessings · 25/06/2012 16:17

Hi ladies! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I went to stratford Westfield on Sunday!
OMG pregnant women everywhere, it's was awful!
I didn't get anything just wanted to get out of there! Blahhhhhhhhhh!
Hope everyone is well with- oving, waiting, getting back into the swing of it all, dtd, and the mad 2 weeks wait!

Thank you ILove, I got some from Boots yesterday but if I get on with them I'll order more from Amazon. I've just got to try and work out when to start testing now with my random cycle.

iloveberries · 24/06/2012 18:14

purple - pregnacare's are cheapest on amazon! xx

Purpleprickles · 22/06/2012 20:19

Sorry Ilove, I've just renamed you BlushSmile

Purpleprickles · 22/06/2012 20:18

Thank you Count and Berries Smile I'm feeling more positive today, Berries you are so right about the pmt hormones. I watched My Sisters Keeper last night and had a good sob at that which helped. I'm terrible for letting things out but a weepy film helps, though probably it was the worst choice film with the terminally ill child and all that.

I'm not sure when you can do to the GP, I've not looked into it. To be honest the main reason I want to try ovulation sticks is because I'm wondering if we're not dtd at the right time due to my irregular cycle. Also dh is very against going for tests and procedures at the moment. This might change depending on how much longer we try. He thinks if it will happen it will happen. I doubt I'd want to go down an IVF route or anything but I'd rather know if there was no chance of it happening then I'd try to move on. It's the uncertainty I hate, the waiting and wondering.

I wish everyone luck and thank you for being so supportive Smile I'm off to buy more Pregnacare Conception tablets at £8 a time...for all the good they have done Hmm

Countmyblessings · 22/06/2012 18:24

Ohhhhhh Dilly- I'm so sorry that your feeling do fragile! You can't help thinking about if you was still pregnant what you would be doing now!
Very hard, take it easy!
Purple - blah AFs are a huge tease when your expecting it and no show your heart leaps as you think just maybe then the flippin witch turns up casting a bloody mood of sadness for those days!
Yes we have to have them but it doesn't cancel out feelings of sadness!
I have not bothered with charting, ov sticks etc! I just tried to work it out and dtd at the right time! I can feel when I'm oving it's painful in my abdo area!!!
Ilove - sorry that the AF witch casts sadness on you at the time, and another month of TTC and then TWW!!!!!

OP posts:
iloveberries · 22/06/2012 06:29

Purples - i know how you feel. It's shit isn't it.

I don't think the hormones which come with AF are helpful either! I always feel soooo down when it arrives and then much better a day or 2 after... start of a new cycle and all that!

It's so hard cause rationally you know "you're lucky tohave DS, 6 months isn't that long" etc etc but it still hurts every month when AF turns up. I don't think you've left it too late at all! Maybe try the Ov sticks or the clearblue monitor but in reality if you're both healthy and have conceived together already it probably is just a case of waiting and keep trying. I know that's not what you want to hear though!

At 35 you can go see doc if you've been trying for 6 months though can't you?

Purpleprickles · 21/06/2012 17:48

Hi can I join to chat for a bit? I've been ttc for six months now and do already have a ds who is 3yrs. I know I'm very lucky and that also 6 months isn't too long but just got my AF today and I'm feeling so down about it. We conceived ds in a few months without even trying but I'm 35 now and dh is 39 and I just wonder if we've left it too late for number two. My periods are always irregular too, this one was 5 days late. I thought I'd wait a week til testing as I kept feeling like I was due to come on. Last night though I actually let myself get excited that I could be pg then this morning I come on. It just feels a bit cruel sometimes. I'm not charting or using ovulation sticks but I might try now. I'm trying not to let getting pg rule my life, keep chilled out about it but it's not working. It's not very easy to share in rl, friends mean well and say it will happen but it just doesn't always feel like it will.

Dilly I'm really sorry to hear about your loss Sad

Dillydollydaydream · 21/06/2012 14:47

Glad you've had a good day. I'm feeling rather down at the moment, went into town for summer clothes and glimpsed all the lovely baby outfits I should be buying now :(
Also, one of my closest friends - we've been friends over 20 years, has just had a baby. I feel really happy for her but still gutted it won't be happening to me for a while.
My cycles seem like they're all over the place still, the last one was 32 days and they've never been that long!

Ah that's enough of me and my pity party, hope you're ok.

Countmyblessings · 15/06/2012 18:44

Dilly - def something to look forwards to but just seems ages away and I really need the relaxing break!!!
I'm taking one day at a time here! Right now today has been good!
Now crying no emotional breakdowns and it's great actually feels quite normal!!!! Yehhhhhhhhhhj

Dillydollydaydream · 15/06/2012 12:03

Have a great time away. I'd love to go away for Christmas one year but dh only gets either Xmas eve and Xmas day or Xmas day and boxing day off together. Hipefylly being away and having things to look forward to will soften the blow of the due dates a little.

Countmyblessings · 14/06/2012 16:14

Dilly - I have not returned to work since the ectopic and so having something to look forwards to that's been planned and CAN'T go wrong so too speak! Gives me some control, although just abit! I've checked passports and started to buy bits already putting down!
Spending this Christmas away, just feels great!!!
And maybe just maybe won't be so hard to cope with my due dates x2!

OP posts:
Dillydollydaydream · 14/06/2012 15:54

We've already been away this year and don't have any other holidays booked at the moment so it does feels bit like there's nothing to look forward to. Summer babies are good -that's when mine were born Wink

Countmyblessings · 14/06/2012 15:06

Dilly that's how I felt last year! Every month that came with AF was heartbreaking for me! But it got easier and when my dd came it was hard and most peeps in RL forgot as expected why would they remember ?
I took it easy that day and cried abit!!! This time I pray I'm pregnant and have going away to look forwards to!!! I don't want to get pregnant to soon as hols has been planned and paid for time from work booked etc! I would so rather be pregnant ASAP but using wisdom here!!! And thinking of all the praticals!!!!
I actually feel like I'm always heavily pregnant in winter so a summer baby would be good!!!!!
Joining a thread is fun sharing the journey but it is awful to tell people it's not worked out!!!!!

Dillydollydaydream · 14/06/2012 14:31

Wow? Your birthday?!
I'm hoping I'm pregnant again by the due date so I'm not too miserable!
I'll be a bit more reserved about jumping on a baby bus next time though.
Here's to August for you, it must be that much harder with having to have an op as well. I also have my bfp pictures on my phone Blush but that's all I have to show that I was actually pregnant :(

Countmyblessings · 14/06/2012 14:23

Ohhhh Dilly - your due date is my bday!!!!!!! And it can't even be removed!
And there is about 3 women on there with my dd!
I never added my details because of what happened last year I guess my fears was well founded!!!!! It's horrible! What should be a happy thing is just a constant reminder!!!!!
I have FC that you will be pregnant again soon!
I'm not TTC for now have to wait another clear cycle since the ectopic op so FC for August!

OP posts:
Dillydollydaydream · 14/06/2012 13:54

I should be about 15 weeks now. I did have a quick look on the December board to see how everyone was doing. My name and edd was still in there so that made me a bit :(
We are ttc again so FC it won't take long.

Countmyblessings · 14/06/2012 13:38

Dilly - I'm so sorry for your loss , I lost in April as well! It's hard when your mind keeps on thinking of what you would be doing if you was still pregnant! I look on the December 12 thread and just started to cry!
Now I have to due date 28/12/11 and the 19/12/12!
Kitty - you don't seem like a wimp at all your strength is in what you cope with and deal with others, sometimes speaking your mind makes things worse!!!!!
I have 3 siblings and I'm the youngest, lost my mum in 09 and it was the hardest thing I have ever dealt with even more so then my losses! I guess my head is saying " you will have another child", but mums gone forever"
I really miss my mum and the talks we had! My babies is so different no lasting memories, no scan pictures, no names, nothing bought that was their! For my last 2 all I have is the photos I took of the test sticks and the documents from the hospital! Not the greatest memories to keep hold off!!
More training today and feeling good with it!!!
