Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

Well AF seemed to be here but she has vanished again.
However I shan't get excited as the exact same happened last month.

nothing to report. opk bit darker but still not there. CM non descript , had bit of EWCM yesterday. spotting/bleeding stopped.

lastbox , no tickets for me. I'm not into watching sports at all though may watch some gymnastics if DD wants to.
ah 3 , so sweet at that age. well usually anyway!
glad to hear you got a decent nights sleep at last. You're a bit behind me, i'm CD 13 ( i think)

lastboxoftampons · 31/07/2012 11:36

Oops meant cd9 not 9dpo!

lastboxoftampons · 31/07/2012 11:34

Hello everyone - sorry I've been MIA. Yesterday was DS's 3rd birthday and we had a family BBQ and a kiddie party on Sat and Sun respectively. Then I worked yesterday and DS went to nursery. Needless to say I'm completely wiped out and I think he is too! After about two weeks of waking at 6am (due to being in a proper bed, cot taken down) he slept until nearly 9 this morning! I feel like a human again! And we're still in our pjs with him playing happily with his new toys. Ah bliss with a tinge of guilt Grin

Oh and I also went o a dress rehearsal of the opening ceremonies last Wed. Anyone have tix for anything?

9 dpo here but I've had so much on I hadn't even noticed. Cbfm is asking me for sticks but I don't have any, whoops! Think we're going to try the Treats method this month anyway! Wink Have my scan on Thursday, so it'll be good to see what's going on in there.

Pip - so sorry about AF Sad at least you have an appointment coming up. In the strange strange world of ttc, that's something to look forward to, isn't it? So what tests have you had so far? My GP started with bloods and a smear and I've got that scan this week. Is that similar to what you've had?

Crazy - hope you get a bfp before the spring. You may feel differently once you get there. Fx for you.

Squirrel - fx for you too.

Treats - so happy for you. Great news about the confirmation and referral. Will you see a consultant for this pregnancy? Know it's easier said than done but I do hope you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Something that helped me with DS was to not underestimate my baby. I know it sounds silly but my dad has always said to me that I've always surpassed his expectations, so when I got my bfp with DS and I was a wreck before each scan I kept telling myself that this baby was capable of more than I could know. Again, I know it's silly but it helped me. I know there are things beyond our control but in general biology is pretty smart, your body wants you to reproduce and to do it right.

Treats · 31/07/2012 09:50

Sorry to hear that Pipbin Sad

blackcatsdancing · 31/07/2012 08:50

oh so sorry pipbin

treats i think your reaction and feelings are very common and perfectly normal for someone who has been through what you have , and i expect the medical staff will be extra careful and supportive of you. fx you have an uneventful pregnancy and safe birth.

Crazytictac · 31/07/2012 08:18

Sorry pipbin Sad

Pipbin · 30/07/2012 21:53

AF is properly here now.

Hi ladies - just checking in. I had my GP appointment today to confirm the pregnancy and have done all the forms and had the referral to the hospital. Feels a BIT more real now, but I'm still not really thinking about it much, or feeling excited. I think it's because I've lost my innocence as far as pregnancy is concerned - it COULD all go really well and I'll have a wonderful baby at the end of this. Or it could all go tits up again. Or the baby could be severely disabled. Best not to think about it......

Sorry to hear about your bfn Pipbin - at least you have your next appointment to focus on.

blackcats - that's weird. I don't know what a CD11 bleed could be unless it's an ov bleed?

Squirrel - good luck on the 2ww. Very curious......

Crazy - fx for you. I hope you get your bfp before next spring.

blackcatsdancing · 30/07/2012 14:24

Hi squirrel, hope you get your BFP, especially as i'm really nosy and would love to hear the story!

that's weird tictac, maybe that is why. Today its a very light spotting so think it will stop by tomorrow. CD12 and OPKs still so pale

Squirrel77 · 30/07/2012 12:04

Hi guys! Back from holiday. Currently 3 DPO and if I get preggers this month will have the best ever story of where it was conceived (heh heh).

Congrats on the 2 BFPs that have taken place while I've been away!

Crazytictac · 30/07/2012 11:30

blackcats I had a random bleed completely mid cycle following my chemical pregnancy. Have you had any more spotting?

7 DPO here but oddly haven't even thought that much about it this time. I'm almost at the stage where I can't be bothered. Have agreed with DH if not pg by next spring, then not going to try any more.

Pipbin · 30/07/2012 11:22

As far as they can tell both of us work just fine.
I've just had the letter saying that I need to call the hospital on CD1 to book in for my tubes to be scanned.
Assuming that is ok then it'll be clomid.
AF is due tomorrow so hopefully I can get that done over the holidays.
Then the next clinic appointment is in October.

must be really difficult pipbin. i really hope you get your BFP before your next appointment but if not that they can sort it out and help you. so far everything is ok isn't it? (with the tests so far)

i'm always mindful of other people's difficulties in conceiving. i'd never ask anything as crass as "when are you having babies then", though i did once say to a man " oh you look very happy there (photo of him playing with his nephew), do you think you'll one day want your own?", cue " i can't really talk about that without getting upset, i'm sorry". He and his wife do now have twins, but they needed IVF.

Pipbin · 30/07/2012 08:53

Normally about 33 days with an LP of 13 days, so I am a bit early to POAS really.

So fed up with this now. Everyone else seems to be able to do it without a problem.

Flyingwithoutwings · 30/07/2012 08:51

Oops, dreadful typing^ Blush

Flyingwithoutwings · 30/07/2012 08:50

Back ache today (not due on until Sat / Sub), but I had an upset tummy yesterday do could be that.
Got to change the pads on DS's trampoline today (was given to us: 12 foot one). The pads that came with it are "well loved" falling apart so I've bought some decent ones, not sure I fancy clambering all over it again (was doing it last Monday when I collected it)!

Flyingwithoutwings · 30/07/2012 08:48

How long are your cycles normally pip?

Pipbin · 30/07/2012 08:45

Have you been SWI too much? Could be that.

11Dpo here and I just POAS but bfn.

OP posts:
blackcatsdancing · 29/07/2012 17:00

hmm i had a clear smear test recently or i'd be bit worried. lets hope its just an odd bit of heavy spotting, extremely unusual for me though.

Flyingwithoutwings · 29/07/2012 16:05

I agree, that's odd. I've heard of ovulation bleeding though, perhaps it's that Smile

Pipbin · 29/07/2012 09:56

CD 11. That is odd.

10 DPO here and I had a little bit of spotting last night after a TMI rather hard work poo. I think it was too much pushing that did it!
Still nothing again this morning.

OP posts:
blackcatsdancing · 29/07/2012 09:29

sounds like you had a lovely day flying.
I'm CD11 and have some bleeding, very odd....

Flyingwithoutwings · 28/07/2012 19:51

SadRach
I have been to a civil ceremony today, it was lovely. Nothing like seeing one of your best friends blissfully happy Grin I shed a few tears.

I've had some cramping in my tummy but unsure if it's my sit-ups well my poor attempts at sit ups from Thursday that's caused it. I'm CD 22 today.

blackcatsdancing · 28/07/2012 18:22

sorry to hear that rach.

i can report that the softcup did its job. will use another tomorrow if we DTD- (which we should). temps all over the place at the moment, they're usually quite stable with me, anyway, opks still very negative so some days to go me thinks.
