Wooohooo Crazy!! Mega congratulations. Don't worry about the Wine and frolic!

Sorry about AF Flying :(

I am thinking of testing tomorrow (11DPO)...hmmmm....

Pipbin · 07/08/2012 18:22

Crazy don't worry about the drinking etc, I just spent the weekend with friends and their 10 month old. She didn't realise she was pg until she was 8 weeks. She was drinking all that time, not taking frolic acid (as it shall henceforth be know) and her dd is perfect.

I've got an appointment for my HSG on the 17th. So no SWI with us until after that.

This month we will me using the Kevin McCloud method of selling our house. Always works on the TV!

Thanks ladies for the reassurance, you're all very sweet. Still sinking in. I honestly would have bet my mortgage that I wasn't pregnant this month. No gut feeling or anything. Not told DH yet as want to be sure this isn't another chemical pregnancy.

lastboxoftampons · 07/08/2012 13:55

Crazy!! Congratulations! This thread is moving along now! :)
I wouldn't worry about skipping your vitamins - doctors don't even prescribe them until you're actually pregnant anyway! And There are plenty of women who don't even know they're pregnant and have had a big night and their babies are fine. Congrats!!!

Flyingwithoutwings · 07/08/2012 12:58

Just noticed my typo: frolic acid Wink

blackcatsdancing · 07/08/2012 11:59

crazytictac thats really great news. Congrats! don't worry abut the drink and folic. if you've been taking folic for a while, probably got plenty still in your system to not have a problem missing a few. I too was rather tipsy around the time DD was conceived and probably in 2WW and she was fine, i have read something about embryos not sharing blood with mother for first few days/weeks. Not sure about that as from MN posts but please don't worry!

Flyingwithoutwings · 07/08/2012 11:38

Oh, and we only dtd once at "prime time" (used opk) to achieve DS... Ahh, I remover it well: Tues 12th Feb 2008 Blush

Flyingwithoutwings · 07/08/2012 11:37

Don't worry about me, that is fantastic Grin
Fwiw, I got quite pissed tipsy the week I was due on with DS, didn't take my frolic acid tablets with me and was away for 3 days through work.
DS is absolutely fine Grin
Congratulations!!!

Tell us what you did this month Wink

Crazytictac · 07/08/2012 11:22

Sorry flying my post is a bit insensitive. I'm just speechless.

Crazytictac · 07/08/2012 11:20

And I've forgotten to take folic acid for last few days. Double crap.

Crazytictac · 07/08/2012 11:19

Hi ladies, sorry not been around much. And sorry in advance for the me, me me post that it is to follow. Did a first response test thurs eve, negative. Went away for a spa weekend just gone and on the form you had to tick if you were TTC so I did but assured the therapist not pregnant and hac a neck and back massage. Drunks lots. Period due yest, no show so just did a cheapie and got a second line instantly. Don't know what to to think now. We only DTD once and I have all my usual pre period symtoms. Shit.

lastboxoftampons · 07/08/2012 09:33

Oh, Flying Sad I'm so sorry.

Blackcats - cd14 sounds plausible. Did you try to adjust your temp? If you google BBT temp adjuster there's a good website that comes up pretty near the top of results.

blackcatsdancing · 07/08/2012 09:21

flying try to do something nice for yourself today to help lift your mood.

blackcatsdancing · 07/08/2012 09:20

x post. so sorry flying, i hate those weird long cycles, they get your hopes up.
I think from my experience this month that SWI every other day throughout most of your cycle,( we can ignore during AF and have a rest) , is the way to go. not sure my DP could manage that though so we try to have more sex throughout that week but not best approach. FWIW Zita west promotes the SWI every other day as best way to get preggers.

blackcatsdancing · 07/08/2012 09:17

i really think i did ovulate on the evening/ night of CD14, looking at my notes for that day i had bad lower abdominal pains on right side. i'd temped late that day or my temp would have been lower. next morning temped usual time, so not as much difference as usual. i dont always get ov pain, but its fairly regular, of course no way of proving what that pain is all about but one sided a bit of a giveaway. My pattern is almost always to get a rise day after ov, then a dip, then more rises. anyway thanks for looking.

good luck this month lbot sounds like you're right on track!

Flyingwithoutwings · 07/08/2012 09:04

Sad dtd worked Sad
So that was a 31 day cycle, how very odd. 2 odd ones in 6 months.
AF is very light atm but that's normal.

Need to cheer up, this has really annoyed me Angry

So, positives, erm....

DH will be pleased when I announce that we are going to use the Treats method and dtd every other day Wink

lastboxoftampons · 07/08/2012 08:54

I just wrote a huge long message and it was lost grrr!!!

Blackcats - hmmm...interesting chart, I can see why you're confused. I would even say cd17 for ov, but your opks don't seem to agree with that. But they don't seem to agree with your temps either. Did you swi any time after cd13? I don't even know if your body could've surged again between cd15 and 17... I guess nothing to do but obsess wait?

Squirrel - your chart is looking good. Your post ov temps look higher than usual, no? Why all the open circles? Is it just inconsistent waking times? Was it just a few minutes or more? I usually don't tell FF unless it was more than a half hour out. Is that bad?

Pipbin - how are you doing, hon? Have you made your appointment yet?

Flying - I don't want to pressure you (but, seriously, test! Pretty please? Grin). LOL at Bristol-gate! I remember! Are you certain of when you ov'd?

Things are looking good here. No ov yet but it's imminent. Have had a good amount of Ewcm, have swi'd loads, peak reading on cbfm for two days now...what could go wrong? Wink. I've actually even had a spot of red blood this morning so unlike the spotting I normally have, so could be ov spotting? Not much to look at but here's my chart

Happy Tuesday!

Flyingwithoutwings · 06/08/2012 22:28

Oooo, still nothing, no symptoms of anything!

I'm not getting excited as "Bristol-gate" is still fresh in my mind, that was a 35 day cycle... But the only one I've ever had in my life!!

Holding off testing, a BFN would not be welcome.. No news is good news Wink

Although I will take it easy at Zumba tomorrow. Might dtd, that tends to encourage her arrival.

Did you all hear about Gary barlow's baby? Dawn gave birth at 8 months on Saturday, baby Poppy was stillborn Sad
Awful, just awful Sad

blackcatsdancing · 06/08/2012 19:54

well we had sex on CD 12 and 13 so still in with some chance, but not the holy grail of SWI the day before ovulation (if FF are right). i'm thrown by this month because i usually ov very soon after a positive OPK, in fact my problem is usually getting SWI in between a positive OPK and my temp rise. hmm odd month due to the bleed mid cycle. anyway won't/ mustn't think about it so much any more.

squirrel how did you get it to link? (thanks)

Squirrel77 · 06/08/2012 18:21

Here's your chart Blackcats!

Hmmm, your chart has an interesting pattern. I can see why O is pinpointed for CD 15, as you had the high temp on the 27th and I think it takes the subsequent 6 days after the highest temperature and puts the coverline above it if you see what I mean. No idea why it thought it was CD 13 initially. It must be so frustrating. The only thing I can suggest is to record your mucus and and cervix position in FF, as the more info it has to work from the more accurate it should be in pinpointing O.

Pip I know my LP is a bit inconsistent, it seems pretty accurate though as I use OPKs. I can't find anything online that suggests why people have inconsistent LPs - do you know anything about it?

blackcatsdancing · 06/08/2012 18:00

oh i give up.

blackcatsdancing · 06/08/2012 17:58

My Ovulation Chart

does this work??

test test flying !!

Pipbin · 06/08/2012 17:45

I love chart stalking.
You seem to have a lot of variation in your LP there Squirrel.

OP posts:
Squirrel77 · 06/08/2012 16:28

oooohh Flying you should test!! Don't leave us all in suspense like this!

I am 9 DPO and going a bit mental. They are referring us for IVF at the end of next month which sounds hideous so I'm dead keen to get diffed ASAP!

Blackcats your link didn't work. Try going to the 'sharing' menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen on FF, the Charting Home Page/Setup - it should be pretty straightforward from there.

Here is my chart if anyone's interested.

Flyingwithoutwings · 06/08/2012 10:01

Shhhh... AF isn't here. CD1 was Sat 7th July. So was due Sat / Sun.
CD31 of a usually 28/29 day cycle...

Still not tempting fate by testing though.

No symptoms of anything Confused
