Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

If I keep staring at my chart will it make ovulation happen quicker.
I find the time between the end of my period and 'fertile week' the most frustrating time.

Wiggy - Brew and sympathy. Silent said it all really - it's perfectly fine to worry and to get upset. You've got this awful deadline hanging over you and you're bound to be anxious about it.

And you've still got time and lots of lovely things going on in your life in the meantime - you'll get through.

Big temp jump today. Don't think it means I've ov'd (only CD13). Did the first OPK today but was negative.

SilentMammoth · 02/06/2012 09:47

Wiggy, my dear, rant as much as you want, that's what we're all here for. IMHE, "It'll be fine" is possibly the most unhelpful thing it's possible to say and driven more by people's desire not to face up to what the person is worrying about. It dismisses and cheapens valid emotions. I'm really sorry you're not feeling supported. It was very nice of you to go with your SiL I think.

BFN here today, still high temps and period lasted 3 days Confused emoticon doesn't begin to describe it! Not testing any more though and getting on with the new cycle.

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 02/06/2012 08:45

i agree with wiggy test again, cheap ones from asda are great 2 for a pound! thats how i found out! my first pg was bleeding through out so maybe just maybe silent.
Have a great weekend xx

Wiggy29 · 02/06/2012 08:34

Silent- I know it normally says on tests reading is invalid after x amount of time but I would defo do another for peace of mind if I were you. It may just that you chucked it too soon.really hope this is the month for you!

Had to go to maternity unit in hospital with Sis in law yesterday as she check up&brother was away. More than ever, it just made my heart ache at the thought that we may not be able to have one. I try my best not to worry about what hasn't happened but it really brought it home to me. My boss, Sis in law & 2 best friend's all preg& while Sooo happy for them all as they've all had miscarriages/ lost a child in the past, I really want it for us again too. Sorry, I've prob said all this before but just needed to rant on here as in real world I'm usually told 'it'll be fine', when really, unless I get pregnant before colcoscopy in September or results are the same, there's everychance they WON'T be fine. Sorry. Rant over. Sad

In other news, day 17 on cbfm& third day on 2 bars. Hoping weather holds out for a trip to the park with ben&his friend. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

SilentMammoth · 01/06/2012 23:14

Hello all! Well I tested today, though not with fmu and bfn.

Of course I later pulled it put of the bin to find a very faint squinter of a line.

Now, out was either
A) an evap
Be) prob non viable bfp

Still bleeding, though lightly, so can't imagine this will go anywhere.

Hope everyone if ok

Hurrah. One jubilee tea party done and now a week off.

Sadly it's not fertile week so no point spending it shagging.

Treats · 01/06/2012 10:10

Hi everyone

Thanks for all the messages of support. I'm feeling OK now - sometimes there are things that just strike out of nowhere and I just need to take some time to feel the feelings properly. Then I get over it and get on with life, because there's nothing to be done and I don't want to feel sad always. I've got some great people around though - there's always someone there to sit and listen or give me a hug.

Forgot to say hello to the newbies - hope that your stay with us is short!!!

Rachstrawberry - the 'debate' was whether you should take B6 on its own or whether it's only effective as part of a Bvit complex. Pipbin found it worked better for her as a complex. I was moaning on the February thread about the lack of information on the supplement packs about why supplements might be useful or how to take them effectively. I'm taking 100mg of B6 at the moment and think it's had an impact on regulating my hormones a bit, but it's probably too early to say.

Lol at Squirrel's list of supplements - not leaving anything to chance! Good luck with the fertility clinic - have you had bloods and SA yet? If so, then the next step will probably be an internal examination for you to check whether all your tubes are in working order and there aren't any cysts or other tissue getting in the way. I had one done about three years ago - it's a bit painful but otherwise nothing to worry about.

Silent - how was your temp today? Echoing lbot again (she is so wise!) - if you've had 18 high temps, then you should definitely test.

Have a great weekend LLL - looking forward to the poas results.

Low temp for me this morning. Not that fussed, but was hoping that the higher temps I'd been having were a sign that things were functioning a bit better. CD12 for me today. Think I'll start the OPKs tomorrow but no sign of any EWCM yet.

Wiggy29 · 01/06/2012 07:30

Treats- just wanted to repeat what others have said& send my live.I have a special fx for you this month.

Lime- perhaps no symptoms is a good thing? Your af seems to come around really quickly, I'm
Sure on our first cycle we tested at same time& now we're weeks apart!

All- I'm cd 16 here& yesterday I got two bars on my cbfm for the first time. Dtd last night but going to try for every other night until we get 3 bars (&then go for every day).

Can't remember who asked (pippin perhaps) but I've been off pill 3 months now. I'm now riddled with spots& hormones on warpath. Felt sick sat couple of mornings& was exactly the same at this point in last cycle which lead me to symptom spot tierdness, sore boobs etc but it must just be how my body reacts at this point in cycle as feel identical this month.

Worked out I only have 3 more cycles (Inc this one) before I have to go back to Hosp for colcoscopy. Hoping we are lucky enough to conceive by then as any change in cells means I'll have to stop ttc in the short term at least& possibly altogether. Trying not to worry to
Much about something that hasn't happened yet though.

Pipbin · 31/05/2012 20:43

Squirrel How far down the fertility clinic road are you? I have my first appointment this month and not sure what to expect.

OP posts:
Pipbin · 31/05/2012 20:38

Rach my LP was OK anyway, as it was 12 days on average, but this month it was 14 days. I took it really to stop the spotting, which it certainly reduced greatly.

I took 100mg B Complex from Holland and Barrett.

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 31/05/2012 19:27

Hello again Squirrel! You are, er, squirrelling away the pots of pills! Hope this is your lucky month.

I'm off for the weekend but will be catching up with you all when I get back and POAS (if AF hasn't arrived first).

Rachstrawberry · 31/05/2012 19:12

pipbin thats interesting, 2 days onto LP could be the difference between baby and no baby surely? I will have to look this up!

Leftwingharpie · 31/05/2012 19:01

Hi Squirrel I don't know if you will remember me from other freds - you may know me as AmandaCooper or some festive variant of that name.

Pipbin · 31/05/2012 18:58

Rach speaking personally I found that B6 did nothing for me but 100mg of b complex a day made my LP two days longer than average and no spotting until 10dpo when I would normally get it at 5dpo.

Hi folks! Can I jump on? [Waves to various people from the Santa thread]

TTC #1, cycle 8 (or cycle 6 if I don't count one where I was abroad and the other where I O'd freakishly early before any SWI).

We had a major shag fest this month so if that doesn't work, what will?? I have low estrogen and am off to the fertility clinic on the 12 June (same day as AF due!) for possibly some drugs...a somewhat scary prospect so let's hope I get a bun in the oven this month.

By the way, you'll all think I'm nuts but I am taking Dong(!) Quai, Red Clover, Fish Oil, EPO, B6 (50mg) and Zinc... Mr Squirrel is on men's conception vitamin and his alcohol intake is being strictly controlled! :o

Here is my chart if anyone's interested.

LimeLeafLizard TTC#4 Cycle 6 AF due 5-7 June
Wiggy TTC#2 cycle 3 af due between 11-17 June
Squirrel TTC #1 cycle 8 AF due about 12 June
Treats TTC #3 cycle 5 AF due 21st June
Harpie TTC#1 Cycle 1 properly trying AF due 21 June
Lastboxoftampons TTC#2 Cycle 5 AF due 22nd-ish June
SilentMammoth TTC#5, Cycle 3, AF due 25th June
Pipbin TTC #1 cycle 10 AF due 29th June
Crazytictac TTC# 2, cycle 9, AF due - some point late June
Rachstrawberry TTC#2 Cycle 8

Rachstrawberry · 31/05/2012 18:02

lastbox what is the b6 debate i haven't heard anything about that?
