Silent- that sounds like you're prepared in case of a nuclear fall out! Wink

I have a few Internet cheapie testers off sis in law in my cupboard at the moment and Blush a jar jar that I use to wee in if do a preg test! I'm tempted to have a cb in like you so it's there if I get a positive but I'd probably use it with next af as curiosity would get the better of me! There's a 24 hour supermarket 5 mins away so that'll do if I should need it.

I don't really take any supplements but if people could advise which ones/ why I'd defo try some.

SilentMammoth · 04/06/2012 19:47

Pip, this cycle I have invested in FF VIP membership and multivits. Also stopped bf and aiming to consistently eat my 5 per day. Was it you Squirrel who takes a lot of supplements? Any other suggestions for moving it up a gear?

Oh, who would like to hear my bedroom drawer inventory?

x7 OPKs (internet cheapies)
x2 HPTs (again, ICs)
x1 Tesco own brand HPT
x2 CB digis (only to be used when all 9 of aforementionaed HPTs have been positive!
x2 BBThermom (one plus spare)

Went to Boots yesterday and bought conceive plus and pregnacare vitamins.
I fear that I am turning into one of those women who will pay anything for something that may help.

squirrel I actually try to be booze free between the end of AF and ov, rather than 2ww. For a couple of reasons, I read once that this period is the most significant in terms of cutting out alcohol (I'm not saying it's correct, just that I read it) and I find it easier than during 2ww. Before ov it feels like you are building up to something and it makes sense in terms of being well hydrated for good CM. The 2ww is enough of a hell without denying myself a glass of wine.

Wiggy29 · 04/06/2012 15:55

Squirrel- I don't normally, do you think it makes a difference? I'm not a heavy drinker so just drink for occasions but when I do I tend to have 6 double gins (ish). I could easily do it the next two weeks as have nothing planned that involves alcohol except wedding on Saturday. I will drink there but probs take it easy as I want to remember everything clearly as it's one of my best friend's and don't want hangover to spoil last day of half term.x

Wiggy29 · 04/06/2012 15:39

Thank you everyone for the support. It's not that I don't have lots of support in the rw, just that people don't really know what to say (I can't say I blame them, I mean it is an awkward subject), so they end up telling you it'll all be grand when really, who knows?

I was feeling like a giant pile of poop the other day after hospital visit BUT yesterday on my cbfm I got three bars and the egg logo which means I'm probs ovulating today! I'm so pleased I invested in cbfm, I never had a positive on other opk and temping/ checking cm was just making me more paranoid/ stressed. I found it difficult to temp at the same time each day and I don't get ewcm until just before my af (strange, I know). There is no way we would have dtd yesterday normally as I had a slight hang over BUT because of that lovely little machine we dtd in the morning and at night, we even tried again this morning but after a lot of good fun, it wasn't going to happen for dp so we've vowed to try again tonight. I know it's expensive and it's not for everyone and (phew) it is good to temp etc to understand your cycle better etc BUT in terms of ease and convenience it was defo the right choice for me.

So, after today I'll be in the 2 (or sometimes 3)ww period but at least I'm going into it knowing that we dtd around the right time and that if we want to dtd it's because we're in the mood and not because we feel we have too.

So, the sun is shining, we're off to my mum's for a party tea for the jubilee (joins Silent Mammoth's mutterings) so life seems a little better and for all we know, there may be a few of us on here already with tiny beans in our tummy- here's hoping! Grin

Squirrel77 · 04/06/2012 15:29

Who else is going alcohol-free in the 2WW? It's killing me this time round! I really feel like a drink, but not if it will interfere with things...what do the rest of you think?

Dillydollydaydream · 04/06/2012 08:55

Officially in the 2ww here, cd20.
I'm not optimistic as this is only my 2nd cycle since mc.

Very confusing chart there mammoth!

Purpledragon · 04/06/2012 08:41

Glad that that's cleared up slient have been following your posts about it, so knew you were testing. Just took a while to go down this time, it seems. You are right, I have build up quite a knowledge of the bloody charting world and this is not something I've seen, as least not over so many days. Good luck for the next!

SilentMammoth · 04/06/2012 08:32

Thank you very much everyone for your input; temp finallydropped this am, phew! I thought perhaps something wad wrong because I was testing and all were bfn but I dont think this scenario is covered in tcoyf!!!

Yes, I do think everyone is a bit down atm.we need a nice bfp to cheer us all up.

Leftwingharpie · 04/06/2012 08:26

"test is positive" what am I on about? I mean "temp is high"!

Squirrel77 · 04/06/2012 08:12

Wow! Looks like a pretty light period too... TEST!

Leftwingharpie · 04/06/2012 07:46

Silentmammoth oh my goodness is that even possible if you're not pg??? Shock If this morning's test is positive too, then get down the supermarket at once and buy one of every test you can find!

Purpledragon · 04/06/2012 06:40

Sorry folks, but I'm of no help in the fertility blues. Out this morning, I don't early test, just wait for my period to arrive like clockwork. Grim.
Silent I remember when you first said that you got AF and your temp went up (I commented at the time too cause it looked weird even then), this is a chart weirdness that is new to me. Sorry I can't help.

SilentMammoth · 03/06/2012 23:02

Sorry chaps, but if anyone has a mo can you have a quick peek at my chart? 18 days of high temps eye roll

hellokittydrivesmenuts · 03/06/2012 21:00

Hey all, i think the blues may have caught our thread over past few days :-( I think they have sent all pregnant people to bump rub infront of us all and advise us of their pregnancies ! I am very hapy for these people but think actually its ACTUALLY OUR TURN NOW!!!!!!! So I demand that this thread brings us all babies ASAP! PLEASE and THANKS!!! Been recommended to go buy a fertility chrystal so will find out the name and bring it back to us all !
HUGE hugs, choc biccies and funny movies to you all xxxx
Thankyou for your get well wishes too! xxx

Pipbin · 03/06/2012 10:49

Sorry guys. The whole carry on was just getting me down yesterday.

Still. AF has cleared off and the long weekend has lead to some recreational dtd.
And after reading about Squirrels problems I don't feel nearly so hard done by.

Squirrel77 · 03/06/2012 08:44

Hello all, sorry to hear about AFs and fertility blues.

Sometimes it gets you down doesn't it? I'm worried that I'm getting increasingly ancient and will never have a baybee!

I reckon that I only have about week of relative sanity per month, during AF. The rest of the time I am continually anxious and checking CM and jumping poor Mr Squirrel, then madly symptom spotting! Arrgh!

Wiggy I feel for you. I had similar issues when I was a bit younger and had a piece of my cervix removed. Hope it all works out for the best.

Pip and Treats - my route to the infertility clinic was kind of accidental. I was referred to a gynaecologist for a 2 year checkup after endo surgery done in another country. While I was there he basically said 'if you want children, get busy NOW!' I had the Mirena removed the next day and we got busy :o The gynae ordered an ultrasound which seemed to reveal a misformed uterus. Then I had an MRI which suggested uterus was normal but that I had PCOS! And blood tests say low estrogen. All a bit weird, but I'll find out what's next in store in another week and a half... Phew!

SilentMammoth · 03/06/2012 08:42

That's rubbsish Pip. But you are allowed to feel like this, it's a perfectly reasonable emotion to have. I am sorry. Whinge away though, we are all here to listen!

Ummm, happy jubilee day to all! skulks off to murmer republican sentiments in a corner

Pipbin · 03/06/2012 00:40

Sorry Spring, and everyone else.
That was just a self indulgent whinge. Two friends announced their pregnancies today. And a lot of other people I know are pregnant or have just had babies.

OP posts:
SpringFlowers · 02/06/2012 21:27

Sorry Pip, you sound low. The whole thing is just frustrating when you don't conceive. Waiting for af to finish, waiting for ovulation, two week wait, symptom spotting, waiting to poas, waiting for af...and it goes on. I find it most frustrating that the signs of being pregnant are the same as signs of af. How annoying is that?! I hope you enjoy the bank holiday weekend anyway.

Silent - I have bled every day for the last two weeks including a big red bleed and I am still pregnant and the baby is fine. It sounds unbelievable but it does happen. I would do a cb digi - no lines to interpret, it just says the answer! I hope it works out for you.

Hope everyone else is ok (especially Wiggy). 7 weeks today and really battling the sickness. I feel reassuringly vile Smile

Rachstrawberry · 02/06/2012 21:23

Wiggy- it was really nice of you to go with your SIL, very selfless and I'm sure she really appreciated it. Its difficult seeing everyone else pregnant especially when they complain about it too!

Pipbin · 02/06/2012 19:42

TTCing seems to consist of a lot of waiting around, weeing on sticks, and short bouts of frenetic activity.
And watching everyone else getting pregnant and having millions of babies when all I want is one. Just one.

CD 5. Still a bit of spotting but AF has left mostly.
Don't tend to OV until about CD18.
Bored of all this now.
