I've broken out the opk on cd 10 (yesterday) as ov is appearing, going from cp and cm, to be approaching. So odd, Iinvariably used to ov cd 19 or so but it's got a lot earlier since dd4. It's a lot better, penrose there is just aaaages between af and anything important happening!

Ummmy my cervix seems always quite open! I am guessing that this is a resultof the last birth but does make it tricky to work out what us going on!

Crazy DS has been trained for a few months now. Started in March when he was just over 2 1/2. I had tried to put him in pants and sit him on the potty earlier than that. Sometimes he would but early in March I noticed a definite change in him. He asked to go on the potty instead of me asking, wanted t wear his underwear, etc. I found once he decided he was ready, it was a breeze. Fully trained for about three months now (tho still wearing nappies for nap & bed times) and I can count the number of accidents he's had on one hand. It was definitely worth waiting for him to take the lead. HTH.

Flying, sorry to hear AF is staying again . The varying cycles are confusing too. I can't remember if you chart? Sometimes that gives an insight. At least she hasn't teased you by keeping you waiting in Bristol . And as you say, Butlins would have been a shit name!

Dilly, Brandon would be a reasonable name, but perhaps better for a dog or horse than for your precious future baby!

Crazy, what helped here is taking them to the potty every hour or so, not waiting until they ask, so they get in the habit of using it. Each child is different though. Good luck!

Wiggy Glad to hear your wallowing helped you to feel a bit better. FX you will have a BFP before Sept. I would avoid the pessary if you can - or go to the docs first. Are you sure it is thrush or could the discharge be a symptom?

Lime- thank you for kind words and support. I'm not opposed to counselling as had a few sessions in the past for a different issue and found it utterly enlightening and thoroughly beneficial. That said, I don't think I'm quite there yet, I had my night of wallowing and felt loads better the next day. Since I found out a few months ago, I've only had a couple of 'low' days so really, I feel that's to be expected. Mind you, if things get worse in September then it may be a different matter.

Treats- I really love my cbfm and convinced a friend to get one and now we text each other about it loads! It's great to have a person in the rw to chat to. I find it just takes all the confusion out of ttc and for me, that's well worth the money.

Lastbox& Crazy- Only on first cycle on cbfm but had 2 bars around day 17, then 2 days or 3 bars, then 1 of 2, then back down to one again now. My friend who got one is on day 16 and has just had lots of 2 bars. It does say it takes 2 cycles to understand your cycle so maybe it'll become clearer on your third (but hopefully you'll conceive before then).

I'm in a much more cheerful mood than last time I posted. Dp has been fab and generally felt better after my night on the sofa eating frozen chocolate yoghurt. Not much to report other than (tmi) I seem to have thrush. Very think creamy discharge but no itching. I've put a bit of the external cream on but reluctant to use pessary while a little egg may just have fertilised. Am I just being daft ?

Crazytictac - Nothing to offer at all I'm afraid. DD just suddenly took the decision when she was about 22 months that she didn't want to wear a nappy anymore. At first I was really stressed about it but DH said we should just take advantage of the situation to get her on the potty and it was all plain sailing from there. There were a few accidents in the first couple of months, but now she's happily using the 'big girl toilet' so I don't even have a potty to empty anymore. It was all down to her - I couldn't even say that we even did any 'toilet training'.

She's been out of nappies for nearly a year now, but my nephew - who's three weeks younger than her - is still completely uninterested in his potty, much to my sister's despair.

Ah we were just at Center Parcs, so nowhere romantic for possible baby names! Brandon maybe?! Lol

A lovely summer day here so have stayed in doors all day. Attempted to start potty training DS....we've had puddles everywhere but the potty. I've done singing for ages - I was always in the choir at school and things like that, and since then I've always been a part of singing groups - it's a great way to meet people and being on stage is always a really good experience. I'm going to feel a bit flat next week when all the excitement's over.

CD19 here and no sign of ov. Same temp today as yesterday and was still getting EWCM yesterday. Woke DH when I got in to make the most of it but we won't get another chance now until Sunday. I'll be back late tonight, up early tomorrow (DH's birthday so he gets the lie in while I'm up with DD) and then the inlaws are staying tomorrow night, so nothing happening then or on Sunday am. So I either want to ov today or not until Sunday, to make sure we've had the best of it.

Treats thanks for asking, I am feeling OK, just very tired. But I am only 4+2 so there is plenty of time to feel crap later! I'm not planning to tell people just yet. If I can avoid telling the school mums until the autumn term (will be 4 months by then) it will mean a few less weeks of annoying comments about my size / whether I am hoping for a girl this time, yadda yadda. DH doesn't want his work to know yet either.

That said, I am meeting a good friend today with her kids, she knows I have been trying and might ask, so I'll probably tell her. She'd love me to have a girl so she can offload the gazillion clothes from her DD that she has been saving for me, just in case!

Well I have had some spotting all day yesterday (9DPO) which hopefully is a good sign!

Also feeling like I was run over by a truck, but that is probably because I had 5 hours sleep and I fooishly went to a friend's boot camp thing in the park. Ouch! One of the exercises involved pelvic thrusts while holding a 12kg kettlebell - the sight of the instructor thrusting away in some short shorts so early in the morning was a sight to behold

Hope you had a great holiday. We've just been away too and Im hoping for a holiday baby :) not too optimistic though due to all the swimming; the chlorine probably didn't help lol
My AF is due wed but feeling crampy and hormonal already. Maybe I'll have an early one this month, it is only 2nd cycle since mc so might be irregular.

Hi lbot - glad that you're enjoying work - is it all working out generally well? Is DS OK at nursery? One of the great things about going to work is that you do find yourself much more in charge of your own time than you do when you're at home with a DC. Depends what you're doing of course, but I tend to live for my lunch hours!

limeleaf - how are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? When are you planning to break the news to the wider world?

I'm really becoming sold on the idea of a CBFM. DH has just had his bonus so I might persuade him that we really need one. I'm sure he'd be happy to be excused from the pressure of doing it every night for ten days that I put him through a few cycles ago. Or perhaps not .

CD18 here. Can't decide if I've ov'd or not. Big temp rise today but that was after an epic low yesterday, so still not back up to my temps of a week ago. But I had a drink last night and quite broken sleep, so that might give misleading results...... To someone who was asking, I sing with an operatic company and we have our annual show this week, hence being out every night. It was our opening night last night and it went really well - I got great reviews for my aria, so I am very pleased.

Hence the 6am shagging......
