Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.
So step aboard ladies and join me for a hunt for the golden egg.

I'm still convinced its all a mistake, or it won't stick. I don't think I dare test again, I'll just have to wait and see if I have a baby! Thanks everyone!

Treats · 17/06/2012 20:31

Hey! I said yesterday that this was a lucky thread! Two BFPs in one day!! We're all going to be up the duff by the end of the month......

Seriously, Wiggy - I'm so, so happy for you. You've had so much to deal with and so much to think about - I'm delighted that it's all come good for you. And for you too leftie as well.

Nothing to report here. My breasts were feeling a bit full earlier, but I'm only 7DPO so much too early to even think about it.....

Crazytictac · 17/06/2012 20:28

OMG wiggy and harpie Grin. What brilliant news and you were both so convinced you were out. I got such a jolt seeing your news. Congratulations, so pleased for you both!!

dilly your turn next month. You were right to hold out and not waste your money poas. Still sucks I know. [hugs]

squirrel good idea about asking your GP. Nothing to lose by doing so. Seems so daft that the hospital won't. It may be all you need to kick start a little squirrel. And yes, I did wonder that too about clearblue. I mean how much can the sticks vary, they're made in the same place Confused. Apologies if you've already said but where are you off to on your hols?

Hi to all the other ladies. Hope you've had good weekends!

Squirrel77 · 17/06/2012 20:04

Congrats Blackcats and Wiggy and Harpie! What fantastic news! Ooooh this is a lucky thread!

Dilly sorry to hear about BFN. It's so frustrating, isn't it.

Blackcats I like what you say about taking it one day at a time as well - very sage advice. I would also stop the temping if I got a BFP - otherwise I'm sure I would make myself even more anxious than I already am!

Regarding B6, I am just taking B6 on its own along with the rest of the arsenal - it increased my LP by one day then dropped down two days the next month, so hmmm.

Pipbin you are lucky to get so much EWCM - I have to go foraging around up my cloaca to find any!

Treats - an accountancy exam? Sounds scary! Shock Hope you survived?

Crazy are you sure the Clearblue people don't say that to make you buy more sticks??

I am working 7 days a week at the moment which is beginning to stress me out - and is why I haven't been on these boards much lately! Looking forward to my holiday - I go in three weeks time. Bring on the sun, sand, snorkelling and weird and wonderful food! In other news, I'm going to the GP to ask if she can prescribe me estrogen even though the hospital won't... and I'll keep eating the Nigerian Yams. Smile

Leftwingharpie · 17/06/2012 19:42

I know! DH was well chuffed.

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2012 19:16

Wow, Father's Day BFPs Grin congratulations Harpie and Wiggy

Leftwingharpie · 17/06/2012 18:25

I guess we have to wait for our - gulp! - scans to be sure of our dates, but Fertility Friend predicts my due date as 26 February.

Wiggy29 · 17/06/2012 18:22

Oh wowza Leftwing! What a lucky thread this is! So excited! Does this mean we're due end of Feb?

Leftwingharpie · 17/06/2012 18:16

Wiggy there was indeed time - I got a BFP this morning on an Asda's own, and then another on a FR this afternoon! Tentatively excited! Congratulations on yours and hopefully see you on the February antenatal thread! Grin Grin Grin

Wiggy29 · 17/06/2012 18:12

Thank you Lime. I'm not sure of dd as I ovulated on 3rd but (annoyingly) deleted the date of my last period off the notepad section of my phone where I kept all ttc info. Can I work it out from ov date? May have to hunt back through these threads and see if I mentioned it.

Dilly- how cruel and frustrating when you were so late. FX for this month and hope you're not feeling too down.

Leftwing- perhaps there is time yet? I tested at 11 days past ov and got a BFN. I think it depends on your usual cycle length (though I may be wrong)

Still all feels a bit surreal here, it's all I can think about but need to try and focus my brain as I have an application to do for promotion and a pile of marking to attack. Would love to just relax and digest it tonight but if I do it'll make life horribly stressful later in the week when it all piles up.

LimeLeafLizard · 17/06/2012 18:05

Wiggy!! Congratulations, that is wonderful! So glad I checked in to see how everyone is. On Father's Day as well, as was being discussed! Have you calculated your due date yet?!

Dilly so sorry to hear about AF, 4 days late is a real bummer. At least you didn't pee on a £5 and can now spend it on Wine.

Pipbin give your DH a pat on the back, he is soldiering on! Grin

Wiggy29 · 17/06/2012 17:54

HOLY PANTS BATMAN, IN A STRANGE TURN OF EVENTS I GOT A BFP THIS AFTERNOON! [GRIN] Can't believe it, especially after I was so accepting of BFN on Thursday. Had all the classic signs of AF (spotty, moody, hot at night, lots of cm, greasy hair, couldn't stop eating junk etc) and then randomly they had all vanished by this morning. Realised today was day 36 and the latest day AF had arrived since coming off pill. Did a 'casual' test (as once I realised this and noticed disappearance of pre-AF symptoms I knew I'd obsess about it), couldn't believe it when there was a second line, threw it in bin and then ran to tell DP... then ran back to get it out of bin when I realised I might not have read it properly! But no, read it correctly and it's right. On Father's Day too! Smile

Pipbin · 17/06/2012 12:39

4 days late. She is getting tardy these days isn't she.
Sorry she turned up Dilly.

My temp was low again this morning. Poor old DH really wasn't up for it last night but still did what a man has to do.

OP posts:
Dillydollydaydream · 17/06/2012 10:43

Ah damnit. AF arrived this morning, only 4 days later than expected!
Luckily didn't get round to buying a test yesterday so saved a few ££'s.
Officially cd1- here's to a March baby Wine

Pipbin · 16/06/2012 23:24

TMI ALERT

Leftwing Don't mind the question at all. I've always had a lot of EWCM. Before I was TTCing I didn't know what it was but as soon as I read about it I thought 'oh yeah, I get that'.
That said, early on in my cycle it is a tiny amount, a fingernailfull, if you excuse the expression. By the time it gets to nearly O day though I get gallons of it.
TMI TMI TMI You know when you crack an egg and there is that bit of egg white that hangs onto the egg shell? That, it's that much.
I have noticed that I have had more since taking EPO though.

OP posts:
Leftwingharpie · 16/06/2012 20:44

Wow Pipbin I hope you don't mind such a personal question from a complete stranger but did you always get such a lot of EWCM or is it just since you started on the evening primrose?

Thanks for the Thanks, Crazy. I feel a lot better having tested that agonising over whether to test. I feel like I can put it out of my head a little bit now until tomorrow!

Treats I am 11dpo, so I guess there's still time for a reversal of fortunes. You're not far behind me are you? Any symptoms today?

Treats · 16/06/2012 19:31

Hooray blackcats - that's such fantastic news - I'm really pleased for you. Thanks for sharing the secrets of your vitamin regime - I shall be adding all of those to my current list. Do you know what your due date is? You're so right about taking it one day at a time

This is a lucky thread. Who's going to be next????

Pipbin - agree with Purpledragon - I don't think today's is a post-ov temp based on previous temps. I often have a very low temp about 48 hours before ov so maybe that's what's happened to you?

Sorry for the BFN leftwing - how many DPO are you?

Sorry you're feeling rubbish lbot - isn't it too soon to rule yourself out?

Pipbin · 16/06/2012 18:32

That's my thinking Purple the last week's temps have been low. Todays just bring me back up to the normal level really.

OP posts:
Crazytictac · 16/06/2012 17:38

leftwingharpie ah rubbish about the test result :(. Have some Thanks. Still early days but obv don't want to get your hopes up. Yes, exactly same thing happened to me, low to peak overnight. Really odd.

Purpledragon · 16/06/2012 16:42

Mmm, still on the low side though, right? My guess is in the next day or two?

Pipbin · 16/06/2012 16:24

It was a rhetorical question really, and I forgot to press the linkify button.

Finally got a positive OPK this morning. But I also had a jump in temp. Who knows what's happening.

Congratulations blackcats on your BFP. I would be constantly staring at it as well in your position! You have 9 months to get used to the idea!

Lastboxoftampons sorry to hear you think you're out this month. I think I'm out as well I tested with an Asda brand stick just now and there wasn't even a line in my most imaginative imagination. Bother!

Wiggy29 · 16/06/2012 10:36

Haven't got time to fully reply but just want to say huge congrat's blackcats, that's fantastic news.
